If congress refuses to pass bills again instead of working and accomplishing then lots of people will work to shut down the government. They are talking about republicans somehow fucking up again and not supporting a wall funding bill, but that is pretty unlikely.
Actual thing. If a budget can't get passed this week we're looking at another shutdown. Could be interesting because Trump has said he might not approve a budget that doesn't contain funding for The Wall. My guess is that it won't and he'll sign it anyway to avoid a shutdown on his watch. If Congress gave a shit about how this country functions they would have done it before they went on vacation instead of creating drama yet again by putting it off until the last minute.
