Communism general

Hello Comrades. This general is for the discussion of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology of revolutionary socialism and communism.

Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.

What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

>Communism is a stage of society in which the productive infrastructure is socially owned, and goods are produced not in order to sell for profit, but in order to meet a social need.
>Communism in it's full form is a stateless, classless society that follows the maxim "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need."
>To achieve such a society Marxism-Leninism teaches us that we must replace the capitalist state, which is controlled by the capitalist class, by a socialist state, which is controlled by the working class. Then, a period of class struggle follows in which the capitalist class is liquidated by the working class. When the capitalist class has been completely vanquished, there will be only one class, the working class, and eventually the functions of the state will become indistinguishable from the functions of the society as a whole, and the state as such will 'wither away' as Marx said.

ML uses a philosophy called dialectical materialism, see here:

It is recommended that you read some of the critical works of Marxism-Leninism so you can make an informed assessment of the ideology.

Fuck Jason Unruhe.

How's Venezuela doing???

Venezuela isn't even socialist, it's social democratic.

It's funny how this one guy has been sitting around making these threads every day for months and months, and has converted literally nobody. All his time is a complete waste

He basically just serves as a punching bag for everyone to come test their arguments against. He's actually improving the quality of debate against these ideas just by being here.

Communism is the nigger of political systems.

>capitalism
>proper salary
>progressive taxation
>support for low-income people
This is the best

Venezuela was an oil based economy.

The oil price collapsed a few years ago... guess what happened to the Venezualian economy?

Really?

I find his posts interesting. I've read Gramsci's prison diaries as a result of these threads.

Fuck off commie fag. This is a wholesome capitalist board.

I have felt zero punches so far comrade.

Capitalist?

>hurr durr I'm fucking retarded and think loose descriptions of idealized economic scenarios can successfully meander their way into some kind of complex social and economic paradigm with no stewardship or capital support

What killed USSR?

HASTA LA VISTA COMUNISTA

Wrong political decisions, like not inventing the internet before the americans when they rejected the OGAS project (all-state automated system). It would have for sure helped overcome the planned economy problems.

"One of his great practical goals was the creation of a National Automatized System of Administration of Economy (OGAS), which included the establishment of a network of computers to manage the allocation of resources and information among organizations in the national economy, which would represent a higher form of socialist planning than the extant Stalinist command economy. This ambitious project was ahead of its time, first being proposed and modeled in 1962. It received opposition from many senior Communist Party leaders who felt the system threatened Party control of the economy. By the early 1970s official interest in this system ended."

Bring back the soviet union, this time we will apply the 21th century technology.

Question for Lefty/pol/: Is it wrong to see the Alt-Right as the dialectical negation of the current zeitgeist?

It certainly looks that way to me. If we assume that internationalist anti-identitarianism is the dominant ideology today (it definitely is in Europe and America) then is it unreasonable to suppose that the Nationalist Race-Consciousness of this extreme right-wing movement is the answer to it?

If so, what will the synthesis look like? Obviously it has to be a fusion of the two, and I find it difficult to argue that this isn't happening, the situation too closely mirrors the Socialist answer to 19th century Imperialism and Capitalism.

Also in reference to this, was the corruption of certain "Leftist" (actually neoliberal) groups by identity politics a precursor to this? Should we have seen the return of Race-Nationalism coming in advance, or did we?

If this idea takes hold as I very much expect it to, what will happen next? What is the next step in the dialectic?

...

Seriously? Nobody? I try to start an actual conversation here and nobody has anything to say? If I went to /lefttypol/ to ask this I'd be banned, it's happened before. Why can't I discuss this stuff with you guys anywhere?
