The real answer is this; the majority of proto-Sup Forums Sup Forums-tards were Hoppean lolbertarians. Anons hate being told what to do and it became clear they would not leave us alone. It was them finally invading video games that did it imo. It was our last escape and we were essentially cornered culturally speaking. Gamergate was ground zero and we've been devoted to destroying the SJW/cultural marxist since.

Of course Tumblr was ground zero for the SJW presence on the internet. Thus anons were basically in open war with Tumblr and we conducted many raids in an attempt to culture jam them. We basically won every engagement because anons are untriggerable (in the strictest definition) whereas Tumblrinas would have panic attacks from rape porn and gore.
So we've been fighting them ever since and it's unlikely to stop. The blue haired loser brigade has continued to subvert our preferred mediums of entertainment, there's still laws discriminating against whites and asians but particularly males. They've invaded many of the cultural institutions and positions of power (if not direct political power, things like teaching positions.)
This is a genuine culture war. I don't see how it will be resolved without balkanization or violence.
