>I heard that Bashar himself actually requested that people not display photos of him or his family, presumably in order to stop the image worship that started with his father. I wonder if this was the photo that spurred that request. If so, I don't think I blame him.

Salih Muslim, leader of the YPG/PYD accuses the US of giving a greenlight to Sultan Erdogan
Russia has no troops (apart from some advisors and very few special forces) on the ground, Iran provides minimal support, the SAA is stretched extremely thin and the jihadis dig in a lot. Also, said jihadis used to receive amble funding form the (((US)))

Obama should not have sided with the YPG over the Turks.
However, since he did, we have no choice but to keep the Turks at bay somehow. At least until ISIS is kaput, the US is stuck with the YPG.
>At least until ISIS is kaput, the US is stuck with the YPG. agree, while i like seeing roaches and commie kurds fucking each other up, destroying ISIS should be the priority
Colton Reyes
Maghrebi question for you, why does QalaatAlMudiq share only the news about rebels, while he clearly has sources to share Army news too?
Jackson Johnson
hah, nice. I wonder how many fighters are left in that pocket.
what happened to your "US first" stance? The YPG is your last bargaining chip in syria, without them the US would have little to no influence in post war syria. They'll try to keep both, no idea how well that'll work out. In the end turkey is the more important asset.
Ryder Hughes
...
Carson Johnson
he doesn't often share highly BS reports, so it partly explains why he rarely post SAA reports (FSA lies much less than the SAA). I also think that his fanboyism towards FSA also explains that.
Brayden Barnes
"US first" doesnt mean everything the US does is actually conductive to that. FFS, the Iraq Invasion did nothing but make their situation worse. I oppose it because I want better for them, not because I hate America.
If Turkey had occupied all IS territory in Syria, THAT would be some serious post-war influence. As it is now, the war may not be over when ISIS is gone. We may end up with a Turkey vs YPG war replacing it, which just gets more people killed to accomplish the same thing the US should have facilitated in the first place.
Isaac Collins
The Kotel will soon be two Kotels. Taking Qaboun is going to put serious pressure on E. Ghouta because they will lose major smuggling routes.
