What's the point? Why would they do this? I get that many of them are rootless themselves, mainly Jews who are an international people and are thus internationally-minded, but what compels a person--or indeed a collective--to do such heinous and irrevocable evils? I actually read about the mindset of George Soros on this issue. He believes that while the world economy reached the globalist stage, the nationalist positions are root of the conflict all over the world and are an obstacle to the fair, global society. The men sounds as if he really believes that. And I believe that the rest of the politicians, especially in the EU believes that too, even though they perhaps unknowingly do things in direct opposition to that believe.
Maybe it stems from the nature of power, because power always centralizes, never globalize, so they claim one thing, but are forced to do another.
