THAAD in South Korea

Why are they against this? There's crazy amounts of protesting going on, when all it does is protect and benefit them for them increasing threat from Best Korea.

*benefit them from the increasing threat

No, this is for NK's ICBM's or other smaller missiles.
Most of NK's weaponry is old school artillery. This don't do shit against that.
All this does is paint a target around it's location.

Because their left want to get raped and occupied by the north.

>t. leftist

What is wrong with you burgers? Seriously dude

>all it does
No. It creates a diplomatic shitshow that ruins trade relations with China and Russia while further adding tensions with the north.

Thought they had a white man fetish. Increasing the presence of US soldiers would fulfill that need bigly

The theory is that they are high priority target. Which means if china goes on war against the US, Korea gets flattened first even if they don't want to fight.

This is the same as the Green protestors in Germany and the US in the 80's, who were KGB ops.

These protests more than likely organized by the Chinese, since the radar net THAAD drops on the chinese is freaking them the fuck out.

>Paints a target

Ok bro. As if all the US military bases and equipment that was there didn't. Yes, I'm sure the THAAD will be the straw that broke the camels back.

Quite positive Hwang meeting with Trump on his own volition increased tensions even more so.

Kind of a moot point.

The radar system is ridiculously over-engineered, and has enough range to spy on Chinese missile tests. Naturally, this makes China upset.

>“By 28 June 2001, a mere 11 months after the first round of reunions in August 2000, 12,664 of the 116,460 original applicants for reunion had died. These figures clearly underline the pressing need for a solution to be found to this issue before the first generation of divided families finally disappear from the two Koreas’ societies, and the infringement of their fundamental human rights they have endured for so long becomes irreversible.”

>“Clearly the most stressful psychological factor in their predicament is the uncertainty surrounding their loved ones’ fates. 83% had no idea of the whereabouts or status of their relatives. Although a small percentage of respondents (3%) said they had no desire to contact family members in the North, 88% said that they would like to contact their relatives.”

>-Korea’s Divided Families: Fifty years of separation by James A. Foley, p. 63.

war is fun until you'll be using your thaad against your cousin's missles
most in korea right now (opinion changes) prefer a war-less nk reform, this is probably only possible through china (shared commie history)

Chinese shills and cucks

No it isn't. China sanctioned local products over this and this directly hurts people's wealth.
Also North Korea won't nuke the South because that would destroy them too and THAAD lacks the range to to reach out into North Korea and stop their launches. Meanwhile that it doesn't actually protect them bit it does make them a priority target. Because the THAAD was positioned in a civilian area and makes that a high priority target for the norks.
Also nobody voted for this thing and it just agitated the north further. I'm sure a fucking leaf knows what's best for those people though.

THAAD is an offensive weapon and they know it. The problem on the peninsula is us. The Koreans do not want war.

Bear with me, us are there not for north corea, but because of south, kabaal was found out, pawn president impact, people there are angry, power slips, us needs to bring in power to keep it from faling to the souths people hands.

It's not there to protect Korea and that one is for sure. If the norks really want to nuke SK, you can't stop them because of the proximity. So the US wants to put it there for whatever strategic reason(obviously against china) and Koreans has to deal with the repercussion.

>t. cuck

Yes yes good goy, you must DO SOMETHING NOW! Why aren't you doing anything? Do you want people to think you are weak?

Move up a chess piece against china, to force them to do something that you want, take it away when they comply.
