Has there ever been a bigger clusterfuck of war than this? Is it 4 actually sides fighting against each other?

When wars get scarce everyone wants to join in on the only major battlefield we have now.

A fifth side has just joined, Turkey has started shelling the SDF

winning

Now this is how wars should be fought. No good guys, no bad guys, just Sup Forums levels of what the fuckery.

a lot of the excitement has worn out, you should slip Assad some old surplus nukes, or maybe give him a reality show on whichever one of your shitty tv networks is doing that dumb shit now

nice syrian pollock you have there user

It's an awesome foursome. 4 groups fucking the shit out of each other and in the end nobody wins. Plus you have roughly 5 million refugees to deal with, which then becomes Europes problem.

>reality show on whichever one of your shitty tv networks is doing that dumb shit now

That would be all of them.

maybe you would have some pollocks too if you hadn't gassed and shot them all

you´re welcome nip :^D

Turkey is technically on the side of the opposition.

You guys should read Vladislav Surkov's (written under pseudonym) short story called "Without Sky".

>Implying refugees come from Syria.

No, there are only two sides. The US and ISIS, vs Sryia and Russia, all other countries take the same sides as each main belligerent. Anybody that says anything different is a liar. The US is giving weapons and money to the FSA, which is a poor attempt at a disguised ISIS, everybody knows they are the same thing.

But isn't the opposition fighting against ISIS? And what is Rojava trying to do at all?

Some in the opposition fight ISIS, others will cooperate. The Kurds are fighting ISIS and trying to grab as much land as they can, hoping the US can bargain them autonomy in exchange for bases, and weakening Syria.

I have no clue about Rojava. But the FSA which is under the syrian opposition, is seriously ISIS, like they are one in the same people. We give weapons to people who claim to be the FSA which is just a front that's held up by ISIS to get weapons from us. It's so widely known that you can even go onto wikipedia and it says it in no uncertain terms that the FSA has the same people as ISIS.

The FSA, and ISIS are just proxy armies for the US to destabilize that region, while Russia trys to prop up the Syrian government. From my understanding, it's as simple as wanting influence over the area and oil pipelines.
