Flatbread was the most common type of bread for thousands of years. Even to this day, I prefer it to the bread loaf. Greek Pita, Roti, Naan.

Quite an interesting thought...I´m not sure how many failed experiments there were before someone had the idea of making flour and baking it...to be honest, if I wouldn´t know it, I would never have used cereals like that.
