The lack of funding for the wall, the continued funding of sanctuary cities, and the general incompetence and complete defiance of the GOP has finally gotten me.
If this were any other year with any other candidate, the Republicans would be bending over backwards to get the wall because the voters demanded it. But since they don't like Trump they're going to shoot themselves in the foot.
It's pretty much over at this point. The GOP refusing to build the wall, refusing to repeal and replace Obamacare, and general lack of action is going to lead them to underperforming (if not getting slaughtered) in 2018, followed by a loss in 2020 for Trump. It won't be his fault either. Despite the wall being controversial he keeps talking about it because he knows his base wants it and America needs it.
After 2020 when the GOP loses, they'll never run a Trump-style Republican again. They'll take 2018 and 2020 to mean that immigration reform is a dead issue, while not realizing they're the ones who killed it.
They'll revert back to neocons and the whole 2016 song and dance will have been for nothing.

It's literally money that the Obama administration and prior Congress should have included in their 2017 budget, but they were incompetent cucks and had to do emergency short term "continuing resolutions." Every last dollar in this budget spent towards Trump priorities is a win, and there's a lot more than one dollar. This is why the Democrats are so mad. We essentially shortened Obama's tenure by three months retroactively.

The first thing is that it undermines Trump by tying his successes to someone else, but it also explicitly makes those successes be the successes of his base. So when they say that Bannon is out of favour, what they're implying is that we are out of favour. And they would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't just a bunch of fucking media spin.
