Yeah, all mytholigical stories and legends would be told in primary schools as short stories etc. First to third years in secondary school would do a good bit on ancient ireland, from the age of hunter gatherers all the way up to the 1970s. At the time I was doing it, it was actually annoying because I thought it was too much Irish history and not much else in terms of world history. After third year, history becomes a choice subject and most don't do it. I didn't, and I kind of regret it now.
