Well i wouldn't say it was the most complicated, the most fucked up part about WW2 was the fact that the Allies didn't even knew what they were fighting for. As in their people, the higher ups obviously knew exactly.
Almost all aspects of WW2 could be easily avoided, so the entire thing was a clusterfuck.
