Well, for one, it makes retards like OP post on an English-based imageboard with shitty English. Can't expect a socialist to do rational things with his time. Nope.

I don't give a shit about your oppressive government fuck off

ok. i never said you should
a little butt-blasted there, komrade? :^)

Get baited you cunt kek

i applaud your efforts, but that's not how trolling works my boy. you have to, at the very least, make me delete system32, like the good ol' days.

now give me answers i need to pass my class

just fucking read the Gulag Archipelago

Dont be useless. Answer the question

no no like actual facts.

Gee, I don't know. How about you fucking research it yourself? There must be some sort of reason tens of millions of people fucking starved to death in the Soviet Union and Ukraine. It's pretty well-documented shit. Start with Google and work your way up to the retarded Marxists apologists bumble on about "b-but capitalism killed more, SYSTEMIC POVERTY"

I just wanted to have a more diverse research that's all. I wanted to see what you cucks going to say.

Because socialism panders to the weakest and is only measured a success if it aids and lifts the retards of this world. Often doing this by forcing them amongst the good.
Putting the chaff back in with the wheat.

End result.
Poor university education. Lack of innovation. Declining economies. Pointlessness in life.

faggots on the 4chins aren't interested in having debates, and that includes me. that means we have to actually cite sources and shit, and we're much too lazy for that.

we'd rather make edgy-one liners that offend you and then leave the thread after we get a satisfying response, or post lazy graphics and images.

I see your point!

How is your depression doing? Thinking on passing out on a Internet cafe or what? Fuck off if you ain't going to contribute

>internet cafe
don't lump me with the casuls
i shitpost from home, like a true wizard

...

Socialism produces no competition and the end result of a state planned economy is poorly distributed goods that would have failed in the free market because they suck. Also take a bath hippie.

that's not what "edgy" means retard
and i'm being ironic. you would know this if you actually could fucking understand English, you dumb fucking incest-child

It needs complete consensus.
It needs mandatory solidarity.

what did he mean by this?

it does not

Watch some of Jordan Peterson's stuff on YouTube. He has a good explanation of why Socialism and Marxism doesn't work.

He also explains why "that wasn't real socialism/communism" arguments are wrong. One theory of Socialism is that the government should regulate the price and production of commodities based on the price and production of everything else. The problem is that nobody can calculate that - it's impossible because there are too many variables to consider. Which is why Capitalism is superior because you allow the free market to determine the value of a product or service.

In all seriousness, inequality is necessary for our existence. There has to be winners and losers, or everyone will starve. It's in our human nature to want things for ourselves and get the most out of life. Some of us may be more generous than other and donate/volunteer, but not by force of government. Communism/Socialism forces it's citizens to rewire their brain to think differently, they diminish individuality. I see why it seems so attractive to people, it gives power to the powerless. It's built on nice sounding principals, like working towards a common goal, sharing with your neighbors, no income inequality. All of these things are a poor man's wet dream. But by doing this you collapse society, you destroy incentive, individuality, pride, patriotism, and liberty. Government can't solve problems, only people can.

Hopefully this helps OP

Here's something from a die hard Marxist

Socialism is indeed a very noble idea that strives to be fair towards everyone and create an "utopist" society. Even though there is some stigma on the word today, trough history we can see that that is what people want. There has never been a "capitalist" revolution. Unfortunately, the 20th century has shown that the true revolutionizing force is Capitalism even though it only serves itself and works for itself. Marxist ideas of any kind are too complicated to implement and usually fail to manage themselves and always have to be projected or planned in some manner. On the other hand capitalism is designed to be even more powerful during times of economic crisis (Even Marx concluded this, but he believed that at some point these crisis of capitalism will be so big that it will have to fail).

Every socialist/communist revolution did indeed bring more freedom and prosperity at the beginning but ultimately failed due to it's unstable nature. Marxist ideas are easy to abuse and usually need to be enforced by some entity
>October revolution
>Paris commune revolution
>Korean revolution
>Chinese revolution

Socialism in it's form today doesn't work and this comes from a mouth of a socialist. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to reinvent the idea before we try it the next time, it's still a noble idea

When your car brakes, you don't throw the thing away you try to fix it. And this is not the problem with only socialism, there has been a steady decline of critical philosophers/politicians who would reinvent any idea not only Marxist ones. Today we are stuck in either
