Why aren't you supporting more Venezuela demonstrations against Maduro, Sup Forums?

she never skipped leg day

I live in PA you dickhead why would I care?

Their country is going to be shit with or without socialism.

My parents are Venezuelan exiles from the pre-chavez era. Obviously not a fan of the clusterfuck that's become of the motherland.

But I don't believe in populism, that's the road that led to where Venezuela is at right now. We need to eliminate the voice of the worst part of society, not encourage them to participate.

>be retarded communist
>support communism for decades
>system fails
>starve
>revolt against the government
>topple communist leader
>learn nothing
>install new communist leader
>rinse and repeat

I literally couldn't care less for these starving faggots. Just pray you guys don't elect Lula and further drive your own country into the ground.

I don't live there

USA USA USA

They continue to embrace socialism even while hunting feral dogs for dinner. Fuck 'em

Whats a Venezuela?
Wh- What is that some kind of terrorist group? Sounds like a bunch of subhumans to me.

Starving makes people aesthetic as fuck.

venezuela once had the 4th highest gdp per capita in the world

what is cocaine

All based on oil revenue, which means it was bound to fall apart. Not like they diversified their industries or revenue streams when they had the chance.

>Throwing rocks while blindfolded.

This user gets it.

Same user, I'll tell you something else.

You know what my parents tell me the best time to live in Venezuela was? Under PĂ©rez-Jimenez, the dictator. There was widespread prosperity and a drunk could sleep on the side of the road with a bag full of money and wake up the next day with not one cent missing. All the functioning infrastructure that currently exists was built during those days (the 50s).

The country has done nothing but go downhill since then. The only bit of prosperity was due to nationalized petroleum in the 90s, which gave the country an easy way out. Instead of building an economy they collectively decided to engage in petro-wellfare.

With more of this, I could be enticed.

I think that, the United States does not care about Venezuela after all the Rhetoric of Chavez.

Take a gps emulator and try tinder in Caracas. Even though the country has gone to shit the girls are still a good deal hotter than in any other capital in the hemisphere. Yes, Colombia and Argentina aren't even close.

>Instead of building an economy they collectively decided to engage in petro-wellfare

That seems like the main issue here

They had some good instant buckaroos with oil, and they used it to fund typical socialist money sinks, without thinking about the future and building up an economy that can stand outside of the oil.

I feel bad for our venezuelan bros

Their problems are exactly the kind of shit we would be in if our econ hadn't diversified a bit and the lefty government policies hadnt been partially subdued during the 80 thanks to our neocon overlords.

I honestly have no clue how are they gonna fix shit .

I've heard rumors of Mr. Trump funding a Pinochet part 2 in Venezuela. If that was the case I could very easily see a Venezuelan rebirth akin to chile post Allende.

bumping for Liberty in Venezuela.

>Venezuelans leave/escape from Venezuela
>Come here to the US, and immediately start voting for the left.
Fuck'en idiots.

You guys should also know that what is happening in Venezuela now is just the preamble to great opportunity. It's totally unlikely that conditions will continue to worsen indefinitely. In fact, I say that it's reasonable to assume that the country will look downright stable and prosperous by comparison in 10-15 years.

That means that once things start to settle down you could theoretically buy super cheap down there and hold as the rising waters multiply the value of your investments manifold. I personally plan to move to colombia within the next couple of years to quickly hop the border and capitalize on opportunities as they happen. This is how prestigious and powerful families are built.

I don't know of any Venezuelan refugees who had a kind word for chavismo, socialism, or liberal politics in general. The ones who left are the ones who utterly lost hope in the direction of the country. Furthermore, they must have been some of the more well-off families. That means they were either hard workers or benefactors of nepotism - neither of which tendencies will endear them to the democratic party
