Here's the score Sup Forums - I'm 21, and I've never voted before, so this is a big deal for me. I need some guidance from you lot in order to make sure I try to get one of /ourguys/ into a position of power.

So, this is it: I'm voting for the mayor of my area tomorrow, Sup Forums. Who shall I vote for?

Currently leaning towards UKIP, but if you guys have any better ideas, let me know.

BNP for keks. dont know if you have a write in option there

Don't know if we do, but top fucking kek. I'd do this, but I actually want my first time voting to hold at least some sort of weight. That, and the BBC death-squads will probably come for me if I dare do such a thing.

Will consider doing this if Sup Forums disapproves of all of the options I've been given to vote from.

i dont know your politcs well enough but id assume UKIP.

Go UKIP

I'd have to side with a default for UKIP just to get the popular vote number count up.

You'll have to check with fellow bongs if for your particular election there might be a tactical choice where you might be able to kick a faggot out or get a halfway decent person in.

Find out what they're standing for and then vote for the one that you most agree with. Just voting how others want you to vote is probably the worse thing you can do. Voting is pretty much the only time you have any power, so you should always use it to improve your own position in life.

Trips of truth. I always vote personal beliefs unless there's a tactical choice. Sadly, it's usually a choice of whom I hate the least or writing in Mickey Mouse.

See the OP again, planning on voting UKIP as I agree with what the guy has to say. I came here mainly for second opinions to see if Sup Forums had any better ideas/suggestions based off of who I have to choose from. Never hurts to get a second opinion.

Totally agree with you. Trips never lie.

UKIP fuck what every other cunt says

>make sure I try to get one of /ourguys/ into a position of power.
Pro tip: unless you're part of a powerful interest group, none of them are /yourguys/. Most of them would never go against their handlers with the blackmail.

my area only has 2 choices, a conservative guy and an independent woman who used to be married to a conservative.

The guy is an ex military who got his leg blown off in afghanistan so hes getting my vote

UKIP are a bunch of fucking incompetent clowns, a literal meme party. You might as well vote Monster Raving Loony if they were standing.

...

Good infographic concept and execution.

Don't vote UKIP. Brexit moving forward has turned them into the fringe.

If you want to vote for the right, vote Tory.
If you want to troll the left by dividing them further, vote Lib Dem or Green.

>21
>never voted before
mate, the general elections are memes, how come you didn't vote in the referendum?

Now that's some weaponized autism!

>there are no SNP seats where Conservative is not the optimal tactical vote
what about SNP seats at risk of swinging to Labour though?
Labour seats in Scotland have, even if astronomically slim, supporting a Labour ascension to government.
SNP seats in Scotland will always be opposition seats, and irrelevant in Westminster.
They talk a big game but they're useless. I'd rather see the SNP holding onto seats than losing them to Labour. Of course, the more they lose to the Tories the better.

!VOTE UKIP!

ukip, unless there is bnp

Cheers lad
Was gonna vote tory just to make sure we keep lib dems and labour out, but Im in a tory safe seat so I'll give one to ukip

>what about SNP seats at risk of swinging to Labour though?
You will have swapped one socialist for another but rid yourself of a separatist.

I'd rather a separatist that is guaranteed to not wield any meaningful power, than a socialist who in an absolute worst case scenario could bolster the position of a Corbynist regime in parliament.

Had a lot going on in my life at the time, and I didn't have the energy or time to go and vote. Moving house, had a shitty job at the time where I'd get jewed out of my wages constantly, various stages of breakdown, and meltdown going on around me at the time. You know how it is. Got caught up.

Cheers for the replies so far Sup Forums, from what I've seen so far, I'm still looking at UKIP as my best option. If anyone has anything to sway me though, by all means, go for it.

Put UKIP as your first choice, then put Conservative as your 2nd choice. It's literally that simple, I'm doing the same tomorrow fellow smoggie.

If you put Labour or Lib Dem, then you should jump off the Transporter Bridge tbqh.

fug you guys get to list priorities when voting?

That makes me jelly.

huh, i wasn't aware we had a preferential voting system in the general election for westminster.
he's probably discussing the local election.
a lot of local elections for councils, as well as i believe the elections for the devolved parliaments, have preferential voting systems. it's pretty neat. i would love for westminster to have the same, but apparently a lot of other people don't for some reason. our referendum for alternative vote catastrophically failed back in... 2010 was it?

Only for local elections lad, the General Election is FPTP which completely jewed UKIP into getting 1 seat from 4,000,000 votes (3rd largest party)

Thanks Smoganon, good to know I'm not the only one here. I'll do you proud.
