My honest opinion is what I said in my previous post. As a genuine left winger (pro welfare state and working class, anti corporatism and identity politics), I'm worried about how liberals are using the supposed "rise of populism" to try and force the left wing to join forces with them.
I mean, it wasn't that long ago socialism was still a populist movement. And in my opinion, the left should become more populistic again. I'm tired of the neoliberal influence on the European left. I'm saddened by how the focus has shifted from class politics to identity politics.
As for the moved thread, it appears that mods are doing their job for once.
