Why can't I find one reasonable article about Trumpcare?

Why can't I find one reasonable article about Trumpcare?

It seems as if 90% of the people dissing it haven't even read the bill...

Here is the link to the Bill: gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-115hr1628rh/pdf/BILLS-115hr1628rh.pdf

And here is what's in it...

1: Adds 400 million to the Medicare budget.
2: HOLY SHIT. One year from the passing of the law, no federal funding to states for 501 c 3 who specifically do abortions!!! This defunds planned parenthood outright!
3: REPEALS STATE MEDICARE Expansion for everyone except pregnant women. LOWER Taxes! Less Socialism!
4: Eliminates cuts to the Medicare Disproportionate Share Hospital. This will help a large number of people on Medicaid and uninsured individuals, as the money would go to them! Good!
5: Gives power back to the states to decide who is cut from state medical care on a case by case basis for instances such as lottery winnings, inheritance, or any other cash windfall

6: Protects the states from having to pay for insurance for people who are not eligible. SPECIFICALLY TARGETS ILLEGAL ALIENS. THEY MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP OR NO MEDICAL CARE!
7: Provides a bigger financial safety net for NON MEDICARE EXPANSION STATES by giving more funding to Federal medical assistance percentage. Basically more money to cover people until 2021
8: Says people on State health insurance can be checked for eligibility as frequent as every 6 months now and allows assholes to be fined who defraud the system by applying and getting care despite not qualifying for it.
9: Increases federal fund matching to state expenditures for medical care by 5% increase
10: If any of the 50 states spends too much on healthcare (has excess aggregate medical assistance expenditures) more than what the feds give them after 2020. Then the feds will punish the states for being wasteful and reduce thier next payment by 25%!!! OUCH If states waste money, they lose money! EDIT A: Except for DSH, Medicare cost sharing, safey net provider payments EDIT B: Then it goes into math explaining how to calculate the federal allotment to the states. EDIT C: If the states try to fuck around and not give the feds the expenditure info on time they are penalized -1% of previous years allotment. EDIT D: Gives the feds the power to audit the states to investigate for any fuckery in the expenditure numbers they give the feds.

11: Totally Repeals part of Obamacare that deals with ""Reduced cost-sharing for individuals enrolling in qualified health plans"" Basically Obamacare said that cost sharing applies how the government says it does. This destroys the poverty trap. GOOD
12: Creates a BRAND NEW Service called ‘Patient and State Stability Fund’ to be administered by the Secretary of Health and Human Services that provides funding to the 50 states through medicare/medicaid from 2018 to 2026. This money can be used for the following A) High risk people who cant seem to get private health insurance B) Provides incentives to Insurance companies to negotiate with the States to stabilize insurance premiums C) By reducing the cost of health insurance by helping pay for sick people who use health insurance alot D)Promoting competition and participation in the markets E) Promote emphasis & access on preventative services, dental vision, mental, and substance addictions F) Paying the Insurance companies directly or indirectly for playing by the rules set by the Admin G) Provide financial assistance to the states by helping chip in for the costs to help keep costs lower.
13: Explains how a state can be eligible for federal funds. A) State can use funds to pay for 75% of expenses that are between 50k and 350k. If there is left over funds from the previous year, the Secretary of Health and Human Services can decide where to put the money at their discretion.
14: Makes it LEGAL for insurance companies to penalize you if you drop health insurance for 63 days or more. IT IS A 30% increase in health insurance penalty for dropping coverage! I don't like this but whatever.
15: REPEALS the bronze, silver, gold, platinum healthcare model on Jan 1, 2020.

16: Protects Obamacare "Preexisting condition policy"
17: Grandmothers Obamacare plans. Literally "If you like your plan you can keep it.. by law"
18: Frees insurance companies to add additional abortion coverage and to create whatever they want. Destroys Obamacare Mandate to force every plan to cover abortion. PLUS insurance cannot use federal tax money to pay for or subsidize this in anyway.
19: Any insurance program not included in the healthcare exchange does not qualify for Federal subsidies.
20: Defines TaxCredits for income and tax brackets via age and income for individuals
21: Ends the Premium Tax Credit on Jan 1 2020.
22: Removes Tax Credit For Business Health Insurance that cover Abortions

23: AMENDS (NOT REPEALS) Indivudal mandate and brings tax to 0% and fine to $0!!! Bye bye Obamacare tax!
24: AMENDS (NOT REPEALS) Employer mandate and brings fines down to $0. This means bye bye 50 employee cap!
25: Repeals Mandatory Employee tax on health insurance. Big Win!
26: Repeals tax on over the counter medication! Cheaper medicine!
27: Reduces Health Savings Account tax from 20% to 10%- 15%
28: Repeals limitations on how much money you can put into a flexible spending account!
29: Repeals Medical Device Excise Tax! Cheaper procedures and cheaper costs!
30: Repeals the law to allow Deduction for expense related to the medicare D Subsidy

31: Amends Medicare deduction income level growth rate from 10% to 7.5%
32: Creates a refundable tax credit for having health insurance for individuals and to a lesser extent employers for providing it
33: Creates a tax payer subsidy to the insurance companies on Jan 1 2020 run by the Secretary of Health and Human Services
34: Allows the Secretary of Health and Human Services to credit Health Savings Account Directly to anyone who qualifies.
35: Amends Law to removing the artifical cap of $2,250 and Dramatically increasing the amount someone can fund their Health Savings Account
36: Allows spouses to catch up and add more to Health Savings Accounts after the age of 55
37: Lets you use a Health Savings Account for things that happened in the past IF the health insurance was established within 60 days of opening the HSA.
38: Repeals Obamacare tax/fees on prescription drugs totally
39: Repeals Obamacare Health Insurance Tax
40: Repeals Tanning Tax
41: Repeals this monstrosity TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY. BOTTOM LINE LESS TAXES!

Was there anything bad about any of this besides #14?

Also if you have a pre existing condition it'll be fucking covered too. Providing 120B to all the states for coverage.

I want my free universal healthcare!

oh fuck u post fast

Because muh, everyone is going to die!!!

So we will still get fined if we have no healthcare?

This thread continues to get buried by meme posts and other crap. Sup Forums has turned to shit

Bump

No one cares about what the law is. They only care about what they feel the law is.

Genuinely thank you for posting this. I couldnt find ANYTHING other than the idea that trumps just stringing us up by the balls. Ill look into this further myself now.

Don't let this die

I know in some states like oregon. Repealing state medicaid is going to affect alot more people than just women.

Digits of truth, also does anyone else notice that democrats are rejecting this bill saying that it's going to do the exact opposite of what it actually says?

>"If you have a pre-existing condition then you're screwed!"
>"The bill says that you cannot be denied based on a pre-existing condition."
>"That's a lie haha why would you believe the white house?! They're lying."

That was an actual argument on kikebook.

Also number six, providing proof.

Theres alot of homeless that are legit us citizens but are unable to prove it. Usually becuase they have no family, and some faggot took their birth certificate,id,or social security card so they could sell it off for drugs.

Only by an insurance company and the fine is really only an increase of the initial cost of coverage if my understanding isn't flawed.

>"If you have a pre-existing condition then you're screwed!"
They don't like to read into things. All it says is that the states can waive preexisting conditions. they're spinning that into (literally) "RAPE VICTIMS WITH INJURIES ARE GOING TO LOSE THEIR HEALTH CARE. RAPE. VICTIMS"

It's fucking disgusting. Yeah, the bill isn't perfect, but for fucks sake this shit is out of hand. And it's not even passed yet.

You can get all of those things back, it's not like if you lose any of them you're fucked forever. You can easily get your BC by calling up the hospital you were born at, and getting a photo id is like 5 bucks at your city council building.

If you have coverage, and you drop it, when you pick it back up you will be charged a 30% increase for a year. Is what it says, unless I've read wrong.

The gov't will not fine you for not having health care. (the IRS couldn't even legally do that under obamacare, they could only withhold it from your tax return)

Yes, all of 0 dollars

That's a drop in the ocean. It won't last a month of expenses...

>5: Gives power back to the states to decide who is cut from state medical care on a case by case basis for instances such as lottery winnings, inheritance, or any other cash windfall

muh states rights is retarded and you'd all shit your pants if obongle made it a stares rights issue who can ban guns or not

>"The bill says that you cannot be denied based on a pre-existing condition."

Also says states can waive it if they create a high-risk pool.

A high-risk pool that no-one can afford.
Meanwhile, the .1% pay 600B less taxes

>MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

All of your personal information is stored at your state government offices.
There are social workers who get paid by tax money to do nothing more than help people unfuck their lives by getting their documents.
In most cases these services are either free or cost less than a pack of newports.
This was done specifically to assist dumb niggers who can't understand the concept of important documents

>Cant find reasonable article
>Searching (((their))) media

>mfw I actually support universal healthcare but all the other cancer that comes with the left isn't worth it

I'd be ok with this actually. If the commies don't want their guns then fine, I say we let them forfeit their rights.
My problem is when some faggot from California tries to tell me a citizen of wyoming that I shouldn't be allowed to own a gun.

Fucking europoors cannot into federalism

wtf I love tax breaks for the wealthy now!

Thanks for the huge dump OP, definitely not a faggot.
Made this into a text document for my own future use and to wheel out at any more kike kvetching. You've done a great service in analyzing the bill for us, hopefully this can go towards more people being freed from the raiding shills trying to wedge Sup Forums apart.

If obongo did that I would actually be happy. Retards would give up their firearms while we keep ours. Easy civil war win.

>Gives power back to the states to decide
Obamacare is state based decisions, you call it marketplaces.

>2: HOLY SHIT. One year from the passing of the law, no federal funding to states for 501 c 3 who specifically do abortions!!! This defunds planned parenthood outright!
no more childsacrifices to moloch anymore folks

>1: Adds 400 million to the Medicare budget.
Why the fuck? Fucking parasite boomers you have done enough damage. Socialism is good when its for you parasite fucks, but bad when its for anyone else? Disgusting

>3: REPEALS STATE MEDICARE Expansion for everyone except pregnant women. LOWER Taxes! Less Socialism!
federal government messing with states

calm down Satan

>10: If any of the 50 states spends too much on healthcare (has excess aggregate medical assistance expenditures) more than what the feds give them after 2020. ever heard of the 10th amendment you fucking whore?

Why can't Americans just spit out how much it costs per month? If it's not per month then tell me how much 10 typical medical treatments cost on Trumpcare.

Uh, dumb ass, it says nothing about healthcare in the bill of rights, but it does have a little amendment on guns !

Way to copy a Reddit post that was banned from T_D and tone down what it was banned for you fucking boot licker.

Gun ownership SHOULD be a State issue. The entire argument exist because urban Americans live fifty feet away from someone who might shoot them, but the cops are only a block away, while rural Americans know everyone around them, so they know they won't shoot them, but also need the protection because the nearest patrol car is a twenty minute drive from your house. Both sides of this are right because of their lifestyles, and both are fucking retarded for not realizing why the other one has a problem making their ideas the federal standard. This is the EXACT situation that requires a bunch of small, local government touches.

you're literally retarded, the constitution outlines clearly for everyone to see what is up to the sates and what is up to the federal government

fuck off communist

No
The bill of rights clearly states "the right to bare arms shall Not Be infringed"
That means they are in charge of the right being enforced !

You can always live over here.

leddit.com/r/KarmaCourt/comments/69g03p/uwmegenney_vs_the_donald_mods_for_illegal_post/

It used to say that migrants should only be white people, but that lasted only 5 years. How are guns any different?

>implying Obamacare taxed the wealthy
Obamacare taxed the working class to pay off Obama's friends. I will post this every time.

>Abolished the Obamacare Individual Mandate Tax which hits 8 million Americans each year.

>Abolished the Obamacare Employer Mandate Tax. Together with repeal of the Individual Mandate Tax repeal this is a $270,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished Obamacare’s Medicine Cabinet Tax which hits 20 million Americans with Health Savings Accounts and 30 million Americans with Flexible Spending Accounts. This is a $6,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished Obamacare’s Flexible Spending Account tax on 30 million Americans. This is a $20,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished Obamacare’s Chronic Care Tax on 10 million Americans with high out of pocket medical expenses. This is a $126,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished Obamacare’s HSA withdrawal tax. This is a $100 million tax cut.

>Abolished Obamacare’s 10% excise tax on small businesses with indoor tanning services. This is a $600 million tax cut.

>Abolished the Obamacare health insurance tax. This is a $145,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished the Obamacare 3.8% surtax on investment income. This is a $172,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished the Obamacare medical device tax. This is a $20,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished the Obamacare tax on prescription medicine. This is a $28,000 million tax cut.

>Abolished the Obamacare tax on retiree prescription drug coverage. This is a $2,000 million tax cut.

Bumping informative post

Stay healthy ameribros! You must work hard for that wall.

You're right, we should bring back that bit as well

Yeah but Fug Drumpf. Also le kike puppet trumphappymerchant.jpg

If a person lapses in health ins. coverage for > 63 days, then how long would the 30% increase apply for? Would that be indefinitely?

So when you said reasonable you just meant, I want to turn the anti-Trump bias into a pro-Trump bias?

>Repeal of the tanning tax.

Wait, what?

So how much does one pay under Trumpcare per month and how much does one pay under Obamacare per month?

The Bill of Rights is a collection of Amendments which were, from the very inception of our constitution, meant to be adaptable to the needs of a modern America.
Also, the Second Amendment specifically states "A WELL-REGULATED militia," so unless you're a member of your local militia, you don't have the right to a gun under Constitutional law. Which is something that should be Amended to account for the rural population's needs.

>american education

BULLSHIT
It's not a living document !
Fuck you, you shitlib asshole !

No one knows, it's a big guess.

But it will be tremendous, believe me.

It's shit, Satan.

You have some disgusting Poo as your doctor that smells and can barely speak English, and the waiting room is full of vomiting kids and Abos (Nogs/Spics in your case).

I'm a poorfag and I said fuck it and went private all the way.

And this is why you know Americans will screw you either way. They talk and talk, complain and complain about high prices, but can't calculate prices. Trump's buddies probably calculated it precisely, they just won't talk about it.

Also, dickhead
In Heller the SC Ruled it was an individual right !

>free.
It's costing me 180euro a month and then also 400 euro a year extra. That's not very free nerd.

The tanning tax is a ten percent federal excise tax that the U.S. government requires tanning providers to collect on indoor tanning services.

Fear of indoor tanning (people getting skin cancer) brought this into reality.

A militia is formed from the civil population you fuckwit.

We individually get to bear arms so we, the civilian population, can form militias.

Where the fuck else are the guns going to come from? The militia store?

You think the government is going to hand them out.

Fucking idiots.

Why is it 400 euro extra?

Thank you ! He has to be a shill !

4% of U.S. citizens have a pre-exisiting condition that was previously covered under Obamacare. That will cover those people easily.

Illegal aliens BTFO

"well-regulated" has never meant full of regulations. At the time its usage meant well-functioning. This is an anachronistic reading of the phrase. Also, who says "well-regulated" even today meaning loaded with regulations and red-tape. They just say regulated.

...lol
there's no objectivity/reason in ur post so i wont bother; i will say though, the tiniest of details, matter most; similar to the metaphor of: 'the straw that broke the camels back'

The following are taken from the Oxford English Dictionary, and bracket in time the writing of the 2nd amendment:

1709: "If a liberal Education has formed in us well-regulated Appetites and worthy Inclinations."

1714: "The practice of all well-regulated courts of justice in the world."

1812: "The equation of time ... is the adjustment of the difference of time as shown by a well-regulated clock and a true sun dial."

1848: "A remissness for which I am sure every well-regulated person will blame the Mayor."

1862: "It appeared to her well-regulated mind, like a clandestine proceeding."

1894: "The newspaper, a never wanting adjunct to every well-regulated American embryo city."

The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people's arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.

constitution.org/cons/wellregu.htm

Healthcare isn't in the Constitution. Dumb ass Brit go get cucked by Muzzies you disarmed sheep.

>adaptable
You mean amendable
>A WELL-REGULATED militia
which means well maintained
>you don't have the right to a gun
which is wrong, as shown to you every step of the way along your train of thought. you can hate guns all you want. you can wish them banned. but your argument has been shown to be faulty.

Plus you talk like a fag and your shit's all retarded

1. no it doesn't
2. accurate.
3. Medicaid not medicare. Less taxes. More uninsured people going to hospitals jacking up our prices.
4. This fucks people who pay over again.
5. No one cares about the lottery thing.
6. This already existed, they're just making it stricter.
7. It's actually less money.
8. k
9. You've got it backwards. Under the ACA they match. Under this one they set caps for different states.
11. Does literally the opposite if what you said
12. Everyone has said it's not nearly enough money.
14. Great so the revenue generated by the penalty now goes to private companies instead of the government.
15. yep
16. Literally the exact opposite.
17. No it doesn't.
18. Only two states had mandatory abortion coverage. This has now made it illegal for any plan that has abortion coverage to receive federal money.
19. Won't matter in 2020 when states can do whatever the fuck they want.
20. Yep. Tiny credits that won't amount to shit to people with serious health problems.
21. And that's good why?
22. Abortions are good christfag.
23. Yes it's replaced with the 30% premium charge, see 14.
24. Yay, fuck workers.
25. see above

Can't be asked to continue. Almost everything you've put so far is incorrect or twisted to be obviously biased.

I see you didn't mention that employers can use whatever state guidelines they want.
.

I am part of a well regulated milita. 3UP and we are in every state. dindu niffuns have no idea how many of us are trained and ready.

Mostly of us ex military and law enforcement. Not cheeto eating LARPers.

It lasts for the first month of your new coverage.
After that you technically had healthcare within the last 63 days and are no longer subject to a possible penalty.

a dude lookin like that will still kill you dead if he spends a little time at the range. his lady is quite safe in his castle.

There's a reason they call them the great equalizer

I'm having a hard time reading this legalese. Can someone point me to the part that specifically says that pre-existing conditions are still covered and premiums won't go up as long as you have continuous coverage?

pretty sure it is 12 months as explained in the sections look-back period and enforcement period - page 67-68 gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-115hr1628rh/pdf/BILLS-115hr1628rh.pdf

It last for a year.

These are all tax cuts that go to millionaires. In other words, NOT YOU.

individual mandate tax? HSA tax? prescription medicine tax? device tax?

all of these are taxes either directly paid by lower/middle class or passed onto all consumers of healthcare.

It doesn't exist.
I c wat u did thar

JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THIS IS COPYPASTA FROM REDDIT

Well I just googled it, and Paul Ryan's website said everything is fine, you'll still be covered. Huffington Post said they were GUTTING coverage for people with pre-existing conditions.

So which is it? I want some source.

user, if your going to point out someone's faggotry you have to commit or just look like a shill retard

Huffington paint and everyone else is straight fucking lying in their headlines. Even in their articles they're wording things as frighteningly as possible to scare people. They're saying things like "you COULD be charged 100 TIMES more for having a preexisting condition IF the state decides to waive a portion of obamacare!!!"
the numbers they pull out are made up, and over exaggerated just to make people think that they're losing health care, when the bill specifically says that preexisting conditions are protected.

It's fucking retarded.

It will all depend on your state. In 2020 states will be able to create their own guidelines for insurance plans. If you get your insurance through your employer you will be fucked, as they can choose any state's guideline that they have offices in.

Though this is all moot. The Senate already said they're writing their own bill.

Too lazy. Don't care enough for some random posts on Sup Forums OP is obviously a shill.

Fucking Stacey REEEE

Individual mandate tax is the penalty that forces you to buy insurance. It is just being replaced with a penalty the now goes to the insurance companies instead of the government.

Obviously there would be an HSA tax for non medical expenses. The whole point is for it to be tax free when used for medical stuff.

There's only 2 states that tax prescription medicine.

Device tax is a funding mechanism for the ACA under the philosophy that with more people required to have insurance, more people will buy more devices, so they should pay for some of that.

Bump

Keep them scared, then we'll get the niggers voting DemonRat for another 100 years !
The fucking faggots !!

I'm still confused about what repealing Medicaid expansion will mean. Are poor people going to be flooding ERs because they can't see their doctor anymore?

I have medi-cal because I get schizobux... Do I lose coverage?

>obongle made it a stares rights issue who can ban guns or not

Obama couldn't do that you dumb nigger uk fuck. That would be overruling the constitution and you need an amendment to do that.

>1. no it doesn't

Did you even read it? Or is this advanced autism shilling?

Did you? I assume like OP you saw the words Medicare and your eyes glazed over the Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 after it.
