>life is a preexisting condition

Remember if you've ever had a medical professional take your blood pressure you've received "treatment" for it.

I "feel" like people who say 'feel" when they mean 'think' are probably females

>know you will eventually require 1,000,000 dollars

>force gov to make company pay you million dollars if you pay them 100 dollars a month for a few years

Gee I wonder why all of Europe has no money?

Its not only a disastrous political move but its morally wrong as well. Spare me your RINO talking points, letting your fellow Americans go sick so some multimillionaire can get a few more shekels is morally bankrupt.

Its fucking cheaper to cover everyone, there is not a single solid argument against it.

nah, you're an insecure cunt

I have no pre existing conditions because as a child I didn't eat much junk food, did a lot of unintentional exercise and also good genes

So I have no opinion on the matter

I think it depends on the situation.
Do you already have lung cancer and are also a smoker? Yea don't have to take that one.
Do you have a disease with which you were born? Of course you should take him.

They're covered

I would drop coverage in a heartbeat. My fucktarded insurance has a $4k deductible for individuals, so I might as well be paying out of pocket for my lifestyle meds anyway.

Why the fuck should an insurance company cover preexisting conditions, or be forced to? Literal retardation. I have a preexisting condition, I'll be fine. My sister has had multiple open hearts, she'll be fine too. So will my bipolar father. Poorfags need to shut the fuck up and get to work, my fsmily isn't even wealthy and all of this nonsense drives me up a fucking wall. What the fuck do these retards think theyre entitled to, and what for? Ulcerative colitis should be changed to 'fucking autismo'

Most Americans are sick by choice (diet plus lifestyle) and you want healthy people to pay more because of that selfish choice?

It's great, idiots wouldn't run up my premiums and I save some money.

But the new healthcare bill covers all the pre-existing conditions obamacare covered why is this meme being pushed it's blatantly fucking false.

sauce?

It's not that they "aren't covered" generally speaking. The companies are foaming at the mouth trying to sell you insurance so that you will pay them premiums which are calculated based on how you will use it so that they make a profit. Only the mostly dead need not apply and most would just pay higher costs for their plans because they are a higher risk and the company needs to make money or else it literally doesn't work. The people complaining about their "preexisting conditions not being covered" on social media don't want to pay higher though. They want me to pay premiums for insurance I don't even want to cover that cost instead, or fine me for not buying something I don't want or need and will never use.

Whatever. I'm just a fucking debt slave like half the rest of you anyway; what can I do about it? The fine will still be cheaper for a while. Fuck those fucking commie thieves though.

I don't really see the problem with covering some conditions that are legitimately unpreventable like being born with a clubfoot, shriveled legs, or a dick on your forehead, stuff like that.

However, people who are 800 pounds and have a heart condition, smoke 20 packs a day and have lung problems, and fuck themselves into a human menagerie of STDs, shouldn't get a damn thing.

I think there's a good middle-ground where people with pre-existing conditions should be covered only if they're not responsible for the condition, and everyone else can go to hell.

sauce

I hear suicide is great for Ulcerative Clits.

>Boogie2988 Retweeted

Of fucking course

That's like getting an insurance on a car you've already wrecked.
That shit is nonsensical.

The point of insurance is to get it before shit happens, not after.

The average white American is about is healthy and Weighs as much is the average white European, stop reporting easily debunked myths

Were already paying more than any other first world nation, by far, for less coverage

Again, not ONE solid argument against single payer.

>letting your fellow Americans go sick so some multimillionaire can get a few more shekels

Talk about tired talking points.

When do we start beating the fuck out of mindless drones like this?

Too bad niggers buy health insurance too you fucking cretin

>Again, not ONE solid argument against single payer.

Fuck you to death.

That is my argument.

Move your sorry fucking ass to Europe and stop trying to fuck up our shit here.

It isn't my responsibility to pay for your healthcare.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

That has nothing to do with anything.

Childhood leukemia?

Psh, nothin personal, kid. Should have bought that insurance ahead of time.

*unsheaths katana*
*teleports behind u*

"Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a long-term condition that results in inflammation and ulcers of the colon and rectum.[1][5] The primary symptom of active disease is abdominal pain"

lol stay assmad

YOURE ALREADY PAYING FOR IT

Single payer would literally save you money you collosally retarded faggot

The only colossal retard is you.

Fuck your feelings based position and your tired regurgitation of canned talking points you read somewhere.

>Should have bought that insurance ahead of time.
Well yes? Your parents should have bought that insurance ahead of time.

They want the rest of society to subsidize them at any cost. Even if that means grinding down small businesses into the Earth which would otherwise power this economy. They are doing a fine enough job of killing themselves off, HRT isn't exactly ample for producing suitable offspring.

I feel great, personally.
When I first contracted health insurance years ago, I thought "this is going to put a dent into my budget, but I better be responsible and do this now when I'm healthy".
That's because you had to be insured for at least a year before they would cover grave conditions.
As you can see, nothing extraordinary, just being a responsible individual.

kek

The point is, I shouldn't be. Ever heard the term, "personal responsibility"?

I voted trump. My son has serious medical issues and we stand to lose much of his services. Not cool.

There's no point in going through insurance companies then if you want people with preexisting conditions to pay the same as healthy people. Insurance is a calculated bet that you won't get sick. What we need is an expansion of medicaid. What the Dems gave us is a shitty insurance-company backed bill which is about to collapse (Reminder, Obamacare is literally about to collapse in the next two years) because premiums are skyrocketing to pay for the sick. It's not just a tax on billionaires. It's a tax on everyone.

>economics
>feelings

Pick 1. Enjoy paying Schlomo more money than you have to for no other reason than some delusional sense of loyalty to people who see you as nothing more than a disposable pleb.

Take your shill story back to plebbit

The sick need to die off anyways.

>says the country with no money

At least Europe got healthcare and infastructure out of it, you dipshits just spent it on bombs

Why are americans so garbage?

If economics was your only concern you would not be lusting after a single payer system.

Go fuck yourself shill.

So if I got a house in an area that is fequently flooded I shouldn't pay extra for that when insuring?
The company won't make an exception, just the other suckers will pay for me.
Commies always love other peoples money

It matters not, you already are and it will not change. The only question is whether youd like to keep more of the money you earn or if youd like to continue giving it away to some of the richest people on the planet.

>At least we squandered our money in a more positive feelings based manner

No, they don't, they get either Medicaid or just abuse EMTALA.

This whole health insurance thing wouldn't be an issue if it was just whites in America. European countries just can't understand how good our hospitals are, but how shitty the most frequent users of them are. Because of EMTALA, even the nicest hospital has to at least stabilize some nigger that got shot, and the ER doctors, surgeons etc aren't cheap for something like that.

You don't vote for a president based off the services you do or do not get clown.

Bad financial investments should not be mandatory to private business owners, regardless of how you feel about the rich owing you - they don't. In the end a hospital is a business, they're selling products, and an insurance company is offering to help pay with the hope that you remain healthy so they can keep the money. If you have a history that will cost them money, why should they cover you?

"But some people cannot afford coverage or medical expenses!" Okay. People die, and its sad. If my loved ones died, I would be sad. But my sadness shouldn't mandate other people to act.

Hope your son dies desu

My cheap ass insurance that I pay a total of $10 a year for only covers emergency room visits. The average person needs nothing more than this, applied with common sense.

Its the only option that would save us money. Period. The fact that it also happens to be the just and moral thing to do is simply an added benefit.

I have UC too. I really hope I don't get btfo by my health insurance

Very well.
There is no such thing as "covering pre-existing conditions". Only "giving welfare for your pre-existing conditions" which is a job for charities and government, not profit-making companies.
Got me?

Collectivized healthcare only incentives people within the country to do the bare minimum to keep themselves going, and also incentives non-citizens to come from a country without a healthcare system to siphon off resources which is only supposed to be for the native population in the first place. Look up how the NHS was being so inefficient that it is literally being rationed off. On top of that it punishes small business growth and personal incomes through exorbitant tax rates and the return product is vastly inferior to the original claims.

>muh you'd save moneyunder single payer and rich people are bad
Explain to me how having taxes raised across the board to fund single payer saves me money? Also us rich people are the ones paying for your healthcare you pleb

>Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a long-term condition that results in inflammation and ulcers of the colon and rectum
when the obamacare butthurt is so great it manifests itself in your body

Nice summary user.

I think health care should be socialized

nah
jakubmarian.com/percentage-of-obese-population-by-country-in-europe-map/
stateofobesity.org/disparities/blacks/

UC isn't even bad. You take cheap pills for it. Even without insurance it's like 500/year.

>The only question is whether youd like to keep more of the money you earn or if youd like to continue giving it away to some of the richest people on the planet.

This is disingenuous at best. The fact is that the taxes levied on the wealthy to support healthcare comes for their own pool of resources. To put it another way, I had done nothing personally to create their wealth which is being taxed. Therefore, I'm not entitled to the product of it.

To be philosophically consistent, I can't claim their money as my own, when I feel that I shouldn't have a fiduciary responsibility to others' in regards to subsidizing their own healthcare.

Thus, back to the personal responsibility thing.

Here is the section in the bill.

It refers to the part of the ACA that refers to what is covered for health benefits (which means pre-existing conditions, as defined by Obamacare, are continued to be covered here as well)

How do we feel about having home owners insurance covering someone burning down their own home?

Why woukd you force a child to live in this world like that? You should have aborted him

>pic

Let the cattle mark themselves. FUCK GENELETS. I HAVE NO HEALTH PROBLEMS AND PERFECT VISION, YOU MAD?

Not everyone can take cheap pills for it. Some people have to get expensive infusions every 6-8 weeks

Shit argument. A home might cost $300,000. Medical treatment for some diseases might cost more than that per year, alone.

Canada isnt being flooded with 3rd worlders looking to leach their healthcare, user that may be the stupidest thing Ive ever read in my life.

Small businesses are being hurt RIGHT NOW by paying the taxes that pick up the tab for our current system. They wouldnt be held responsible for healthcare of their employees and like you, would save in taxes by covering everyone. It allows us to do everything from negotiate prices to better choice in doctors. Ever tried to visit a specialist outside of your coverage area? Hope you brought 50k cash with you, blue cross aint covering that shit.

Tell me how patriotic it makes you feel when were forced to pay 50x the price for a drug Canadians get for free? Ohhh sayyy cannn youuuu seeee

>msm is being fake news again
Should have known

And some people with diabetes have to get their feet cut off. Stop being a social leech and start becoming proactive and preventative about your health instead of reactive.

It's a moot point because pre-existing conditions aren't being stripped of coverage, they just have to pay a higher premium because they draw more out of the insurance pool which is completely fair.

I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that phrasing allows charging people with pre-existing conditions higher rates. It's there, but only the 1% can afford it.

You can't be proactive or preventative about ulcerative colitis idiot

No one saves on taxes in that situation

What's morally wrong is people who willfully live unhealthy lifestyles forcing everyone to pay for giving them treatments for the conditions they develop while having no intention of changing their behavior. We shouldn't have to subsidize slow-motion cowardly suicide, and let's make no bones about it, the vast majority of these pre-existing condishuns are complications from obesity in the 30 to 50% of the population that's willfully obese.

It's a stupid way to have forced insurance like this. Why not just have socialized medicine then?
Have some amount of doctors being state employees and provide basic healthcare while having private doctors for all the rich people.

>can't be proactive about UC
What is a low fiber diet? Do you try to sound like an uneducated retard with every post, or is it just natural for you?

kek

Diet does not cause a UC flare up

Youre already paying for it, that will never change, may as well save some money while youre at it.

>abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=7693848

>Single payer would literally save you money
Yeah, by greatly lowering the quality of care by hiring foreign doctors and staff like they do at the VA and state run nursing homes. The savings aren't worth it.

Literally everyone would.

wsj.com/graphics/american-health-care-costs/

>Canada
>NHS is in UK
Look, I know you're pretending to be retarded. Small businesses are hurting because they're forced to have to cap themselves to under 50 employees and below in order to skirt the ACA provisions about mandatory employee healthcare. You realize that in order for a business to grow, it will need a steady income and the ability to hire more people, right?

>paying the taxes that pick up the tab for our current system
Obamacare IS the current system, forcing businesses to cover for insurance when they otherwise wouldn't be able to isn't going to save money anywhere, if anything, it'll cause them to have to downsize and lay off people.

>It allows us to do everything from negotiate prices to better choice in doctors.
Obamacare provisions lock you into a certain set of plans in most areas, by knocking those down, we can get interstate competition back and help drive down costs with choices that are more appropriate to a target demographic.

>Ever tried to visit a specialist outside of your coverage area? Hope you brought 50k cash with you, blue cross aint covering that shit.
Maybe for you that is the case, but even before the ACA, I was able to do well if I had a problem like that.

>Tell me how patriotic it makes you feel when were forced to pay 50x the price for a drug Canadians get for free? Ohhh sayyy cannn youuuu seeee
Sound like a retard to be honest, and considering that this is Sup Forums, that's an accomplishment.

Get in touch with one of the countless major or minor charities that exist specifically to help the families of children with serious medical conditions pay their medical bills.

Federally mandated and subsidized healthcare is unconstitutional.

My point was start solving the problem at the root, it is better to cure/prevent the cancer than to treat it indefinitely. Unless you're than in the healthcare industry then it's a license to print money

Stop posting you're annoying me.
Brown AC, Rampertab SD, Mullin GE. Existing dietary guidelines for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Expert Rev Gastroenterol Hepatol

Technically its called insurance but all comparison to an actual insurance but de-facto its a life saving or health procedure for which you paid taxes.
Just because you can leave people on their own dying or suffering is a proof in itself you handled this poorly.

You know who never runs out of funds? The man with the biggest gun and most ammo. Try to make us pay faggot. This is what you get with your fiat currency.

Fuck me I suffered a minstroke as I was typing this but here the important part.

>Just because you can leave people on their own dying or suffering is a proof in itself you handled this reform poorly.

I have UC and my doc told me if I started smoking that'd probably fix it. He didn't recommend it obviously, but said it was an option

You act as if Canadians and Brits are dying in the streets. Make a thread, talk to them about their experiences, most will have nothing but good things to say.

Ive had top notch union provided health insurance for years now and have had mixed experiences myself. Some bad, some disastrous just as any other country. Can you honestly tell me youre happy with the current state of how you receive treatment? Do you even have coverage?

why don't people just get insurance before they get sick?

like car insurance, you're supposed to get it before you get in an accident, right?

I don't understand American health care, or the difference between obamacare and now post obamacare...but from what I do grasp:

>here's a list of a bunch of per-existing conditions insurance companies can deny you coverage for
>including simple shit like acne, bad knees, etc.
>So every retard is saying insurance companies will now DENY EVERYONE

Why would the companies do this? Don't they like making money and having costumers? If your pimple cream costs $20 a tube and your premium is $1000/year, why would a company want to deny you?

Proof

Save some money by lowering the quality of healthcare for everyone in the country? Yeah, I'm not a greedy self-centered short-sighted fuckwad, Mr. Liberal.
