With the French election on the Horizon its starting to become rather puzzling as to how we got dumped and bombarded with Gigabytes of classified information. With the recent Macron E-mail leaks, code revealing Russian typing leaves us to suggest: have we been used by the CIA?
My theory is that they have taken advantage of /pol to discredit MLP or Nationalism as a whole, or to use this to further justify conflict with Russia.

Wikileaks made an interesting point: the timing is too late to have a good chance of affecting the election.
So if the idea to have another "MUH RUSSIAN INFLUENCE" narrative to Macron look like another victim of MUH RUSSIA and convince normies that Russia really is trying to hack the West in favor of Nationalist movements and therefore they need to stand with the granny shagger then it kind of makes sense...

Why did they do this? I don't know that was the point of my post. It's hard to see a good angle for the globalist side, either way as they're censoring the media like China does and that will get out eventually. Nobody in the West will get behind that. It will hobble Macron if he wins.

It's fascinating anyway. I guess the biggest takeaway - for sure - is that French media are ordering totalitarian style censorship. So, if the leak is relatively benign, the timing was perfect to use it to damage Macron even in it's "benign'ness". If not benign, then earlier would have been better, of course.
