Why do you think they won't? We're reaching the point where technology and P2P saves us from government control. When Bitcoin and the likes start gaining widespread influence after the state's (((fiat currency))) starts bursting it will be rendered defenseless. Unless they literally try to shut down the Internet, cryptocurrencies will be impossible to regulate or centralize. The states are pushing for eliminating physical cash, so we are enslaved to inflationary imaginary money. But now we have bitcoin to make digital scarcity a thing and prevent this from happening. Bitcoin will be the new gold.
And I wouldn't be so pessimistic in terms of private cities. South Korea, Honduras, and India are already tinkering with the idea. And on top we have the Seasteading Institute making the first libertarian Rapture in the French Polynesia and movements like Liberland gaining traction. I'd like to think the New World Order will collapse because they're getting more and more cocky and arrogant each day, to the point where they're not even trying to hide it anymore (UN population replacement plans, the EU showing its teeth to the UK after Brexit, police agencies covering up migrant crimes, George Soros's name already being name dropped various times in the past years, etc.). I like to think it will be some sort of Babel Tower: they'll reach for the heavens and collapse under their own stupidity. We can only hope technology and secession gets off the ground soon enough.
