It's the best looking tank but certainly not THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST FOR YOU

> can't rotate turret unless ground is near flat
> breaks down at 2900 rpm
> Impossible to fix in field conditions
> expensive as fuck
> at best a mediocre tank

like i said for me this was the best

hey you're right, in this case it is the best for you but not for Germany or me

then post what was the best tank of ww2

...

a t34 what

delet this

>not speeding through the fields and blasting panzers in a hellcat
Also your question is better suited for /k/

The Bob Semple tank

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Semple_tank

This is my Panzerkampfwagen. It kampfs Panzers.

Wouldn't this be better on ?
But my ww2 tank would be the panther II, if it ever got made
>Final drive/transmission issues sorted
>Schmalturm offering better protection
>Standardisation making it easier to mass produce

Panzer V Ausf G

>Moderatly Relaible
>Great Armour
>Fast
>Great Gun
>Pretty much an MBT

...

sorry cucks

>Ignoring the russians could just build 20,000 more

Sherman.

Being the best tank isn't about having the thickest armour or shootiest gun, it's about being:

Mass produced.

Easily maintained and repaired.

Good ergonomics for crew (fuck off T-34).

Good protection for a medium (fuck off obese Panther), can be upgraded to JUMBO.

Good multipurpose gun, can be upgraded to better anti-tank guns.

Standard medium tank mobility.

Pretty much the only real downside was that it was tall, so it was more visible and had a higher risk of falling over on slopes.

They put this thing on a glider.
A FUCKING GLIDER

We certainly knew how to make quality and aesthetics combined back then.

The reich was excellent in all things.

*teleports behind you*

Good thread but

Every fucking time, Anglos come by and have to mention Sherman tanks. Every. Fucking. Time.

Especially when you guys took an 17 pounder Anti-tank gun and shoved it into one our Shermans. The Fire-fly could remove Tiger 1, Tiger 2, and Panthers with ease. Just might cause hearing loss for crew.

...

...

ligths on fire if it's shot by a BB gun

>Blasting Shermans from 7 kilometers out
>Driving 80km/h towards Moscow

How could the allies even compete with this

You know what else sets on fire and kills the crew when hit by anti-tank rounds? All tanks!

Tiger 1.

Why? It's a piece of crap. Now the Tiger 2 is much better.

Panther had one fatal flaw, Hills. Soviets would hit the thin armor on the belly.

if the jew slaves didn't sabotage production, the panter.

Good 'ol ronson. They did church 'em up with the jumbo and putting the bigger 76mm gun on it

kek

Delet tiger

what's that?

You're describing the kv-2

Such a good looking tank

Yes, but only the Sherman ligth on fire when shot by a 47mm FUCKING JAP GUN

We used those up to 2000 here

There's no other sensible answer.

Some tanks were better at specific roles, but the Sherman is high up in all of them.

Picture was taken in Korea but that's besides the point, my favorite tank is definitely the Pershing. This thing was the fucking bogeyman at the end of the war.

Including ligthing a cigarret

The only way to play men of war

This

...

xaxaxaxa, is feature tovarisch.

Pretty sure that's the Leopard II

Modern day MBT built by the Germans

The Tiger was certainly the most aesthetically pleasing tank from WW2 in my opinion.

But it wasn't actually that good, at least not for the costs. It didn't matter if the Tiger had a 20/1 killratio of T-34s if the Russians could produce 100 T-34s for every Tiger the germans made.

I wish they got fielded in Normandy just to see how well they would do in proper battles

>best tank

can't move 50km without breaking down

oh boy, not very patriotic coming from a texan

Stupid myth entry level tank myth.

There was nothing particularly flammable about Shermans compared to other tanks when you look into it.

They were arguably less flammable later in the war because America went to the effort to make wet ammo racks.

Terribly reliable in the early versions. Still not reliable on later versions.
Yeah pretty good armor
Not fast at all. You could not push it very hard without problems like the Tiger
Probably best tank gun of the war.
Not really a MBT

REEEEEEEEEE

Not even chilean

No, the IS3 was.

...

>Best ww2 tank
>10 or so so a couple of fire fights in the last month of the war
Yeah no.

Doomturtle was best tenk, better than Maus.

This triggers the tankfag.

They started doing that only in 1945

...

oh interesting slant it's got there

Get off that disgusting clay and come back to the fold.

Is there a worse looking tank than the Sherman?

that looks like a t95

...

lolno

No he wasn't, the only time sherman really did a good job was that one battle where they managed to surprise a bunch of german tanks. There is no legend surrounding the tank, nothing it really did good. It was just a tank to fill a role.

On the other hand you got the russian KV-1, the famous T34, IS tanks the german Tiger, Panther, panzer 3 and 4, STuGs. Hell even france was known to have the heaviest tanks at the beginning of the war. I'd say even the british Matilda tanks were better at their time than the sherman. It even got the name "Queen of the desert."

it is

>piat
the English should've just purposely given the Nazis a ton of those and watch the recoil push them back to Berlin

1944, but even before, there was nothing notable about it setting on fire.

The Crusader it replaced was far more flammable.

russian craftsmanship

didn't mean the last link wew

>45 ton.

with the same steel, the soviets had a 122mm gun, better armor envelope and better reliability.

Best early tank anyone?

>cheap
>kills most burger and slavshit dead
>doesn't have a horrendous kd ratio like slavshit t-34 that some retards probably posted in this thread

TIGER 1.

Matter of facf

But slow and only subhuman manlets could operate it

...

can you post some WW2 era tanks from S America?

>you will never live in a world where the Ratte was actually built

If you look into extensively, you will eventually take the Shermanpill, too.

The reason why T-34 were "Good" was because they were easily mass produced. They were easily made and could be placed everywhere. The T-34 were everywhere on the Russian line.

No love for the bumblebee? 3:

Needs a new transmission

The Bren.

That's a late Panzer III.
