What can modern day people learn from history in how to fight Communism? It's proven itself to be the most destructive, anti human ideology in world history. What examples of anti-Communist resistance can we take to prevent further genocides at the hands of Commie sociopaths?

>What examples of anti-Communist resistance can we take to prevent further genocides at the hands of Commie sociopaths?
You can't, the gulag awaits for you.

...

where did the fedora wearing communist meme start? Isn't a 1950's western businessman the opposite of what they want to dress like?

Collapse their popular support by not treating your lower class like shit. Implement reforms to improve social mobility.

It started on the internet, you dope. It's a meme.

This, Bismarck did everything right.

Anyone who holds a political opinion at the other extreme of your beliefs is a fedora.

So you have commies and nazis calling each other fedoras as an argument.

it was originally for atheists, but it's just used for everything now

Most anti-communists don't even understand communism. They think it's about hammer and sickles, military marches and planned economies. They've never read Antonio Gramsci, Herbert Marcuse and Ernesto Laclau, so they don't understand how the communist strategy has changed, and don't adapt to the circumstances. They are still fighting an enemy that died in the 1950s, and don't realize that the informal communist party, the activist intelligentsia, is more powerful nowadays in the Western world than the formal communist parties of the Eastern bloc.

By any objective measure, America is a communist country, but anti-communists don't realize that because they still keep their private property and bank accounts.

Marxism-Leninism is irrelevant in the 21st century. North Korea is isolated and has (officially) abandoned it in favor of Juche (which is basically Third Positionist), China/Laos/Vietnam are all state capitalist dictatorships, and that leaves Cuba, which isn't exactly a major global player.

>By any objective measure
>they still keep their private property and bank accounts

You belong in a garbage can.

Marxism hasn't been relevant in Western academia since the 1970s and certainly not after 1991.

>Michel Foucault
>Pierre Bourdieu
>Jacques Derrida
>Judith Butler
>Gilles Deleuze
>David Harvey
>Edward Said
>Roland Barthes
>Walter Benjamin
>Benedict Anderson

All undeniable Marxists, not even mentioning fellow-travelers like Anthony Giddens, Jurgen Habermans, Bruno Latour, Noam Chomsky and Jacques Lacan.

>but anti-communists don't realize that because they still keep their private property and bank accounts.
Which makes it not a communist country.

>America is a communist country
wew laddo

Why are Sup Forumstards so fucking retarded?

Foucault, Bourdieu, Derrida, Butler, Said, Barthes, Giddens, Latour and Lacan were/are not Marxists. You're throwing postmodernists and poststructuralists in there with Marxism.

Not to mention "fellow-traveler" chomsky thinks most of the other people in the post are retarded charlatans.
And that being a marxist doesn't necessarily make you a communist or vice versa.

>What can modern day people learn from history in how to fight Communism?

This already happened.
Communism is literally dead.
No, some western SJW Liberal you argued with in the net doesn't mean the revival of communism. Fuck off, Sup Forums.

That's because you also lack an understanding of what Marxism actually is. It is more than a mere socioeconomic theory and method, it is a whole tribal epistemology whose key is the concept of praxis. Marxists value the eleventh thesis on Feuerbach over everything else: "The point is to change the world."

To change the world, Marxist orthodoxy had to be challenged, otherwise, as a political movement, it would have died with Karl Kautsky. Within this context, it's easy to interpret all these philosophers and thinkers as thoroughly Marxist, if not because of their ideas, because of their influences, their political objectives, their relations, their understanding of themselves in the world, etc

SPARE ME MR. GRAMSCI

Everyone is Marxist nowadays.

Suspicious, that's something a marxist would say. Do you also have private property and a bank account by chance?

>p-please ignore us Sup Forums

t. /leftypol/

Enjoy social democracies.

LOL keep on licking the boots of the rich and doing their dirty work. Truly and wholly cucked.

History, you think would be enough.

But isn't the alluring aspect of communism and marxism the fact that it attempts to make everyone equal? So if you're having trouble with finding success, or if you feel weak in the presence of strength and begin to feel jealousy and begin to be motivated by jealousy, you'll fight to bring people down to your level out of some subconscious insecurity? Thus creating the suffering those two ideologies lead to?

I mean isn't that the general point Peterson has been making? I'm probably missing a lot, but yeah...history itself, you would think be enough. That, along with teaching people not to think like victims, therefore eliminating the desire to bring people down.

the same time nazis being fat neckbeards started

Basically what this guy saidCommunist ideology thrives among economic discontent and poverty. Deal with those first two factors and the communist scourge never becomes a thing in your country.

Shut up, Marxist.

>trying to shut others up
You just outed yourself as a marxist.

It was originally for MRAs on reddit, most of whom happened to be atheists.

Good one Sup Forums

>Marxists value the eleventh thesis on Feuerbach over everything else: "The point is to change the world."
>any ideology that seeks to change the world is marxist

Would help if people knew the difference between totalitarian nationalism and communism, so when a guy like Mao or Stalin comes along and starts selling the former under the name of the latter, they would know something is up.

But when Ameritards keep poing to China, the USSR, and Cuba as examples of "communism", that does rather become impossible - when even your enemy backs your lie, it's kinda hard for folks not to believe it.

Then again, unlike communism, judging by the fact that the USSR was the only other super-power of its time, lasting a near century, despite practically the whole rest of the world working against it, and China has mutated into an economic juggernaut, and Cuba managed to maintain one of the better situations in its region despite a near century long embargo and constant coo attempts, turns out totalitarian nationalism actually works.

Not that it isn't evil as fuck, but sadly, sometimes evil is just damned effective.

it's funny how both left-wing and right-wing extremists have the same persecution complex/victim mentality.

I already do.

Fuck off feminist, the fedora has always been a sign of a numale

i don't get it. what's wrong with communism? what's wrong with resisting evil corporations who are fucking us all over? what's wrong with wanting the public to own the means of production? what's wrong with wanting equality ?

hello r*ddit

Communism is already largely dealt with thanks to the welfare state. Politicians have learned that pacification of the populace is the top priority followed by economic growth
So yes communism was indirectly actually good. Marx did not expect the welfare state and if such measures were never taken the world revolution might actually have happened

No, they're really not

Where are you faggots from?
