This was fairly true in my experience as well. I dug the music and the general aesthetic when I was younger, but noticed fairly quickly that emo dudes were straight up fags. I also noticed emo chicks were into atheletes and figured I was better off staying in my lane and scoring emo girls that way. From like '06-'10 I would fuck more scene girls before I moved away from them. '10 comes around and I started to hang around some gay guys and some girls that were the epitome of /fa/.
