When I brought up the fact that she was pro-TPP and Trump was anti-TPP and in favor of restructuring or repealing NAFTA which meant job security for thousands of working-class citizens throughout the Midwest / Rust Belt region (which is where I hail from) she actually came back with "I can't believe people were motivated by that!"

I think it's retarded to straight up deny sexism played a role, because I'm sure it did. I think Hillary was held to impossible standards that Trump and other male candidates weren't, and one of the more obvious ones were always analogous to physical or mental health, or stamina was the big word that got whispered around a lot.
