There are hundreds of fucking federal investigations going on. A shit ton of politicians are getting arrested and indicted.
Scandals are popping up from time to time again.
JBS, Brazil's largest meat exporter, put human feces and cardboard on their meat and exported it.
The largest state company, an oil one known as petrobras was literally robbed. Politicians literally deviated over one hundred and 50 billion dollars from it and everyone's involved in this fucking scandal.
Politicians have been receiving kickbacks and bribes over these scandals.
The federal bureau of investigation collaborated with two CEOS of JBS and recorded a meeting with a respected senator who tried to run for the presidency in 2014. He had been accused of receiving bribes from petrobras and he asked the CEOS for an attorney and over two million dollars for his defence. The CEOS as I said earlier were recording the conversation and they gave him a suitcase filled with the money that was being tracked by the federal bureau. Everything was a fucking ambush. He is literally fucked.
Meanwhile, the two CEOS also recorded a conversation with Brazil's current president and made him admit that he was paying off Brazil's former house speaker that is now in jail literally hundreds of millions of dollars to keep his mouth shut because he knew too much about the dirty politics that went on in Brasilia, the city's capital. The two CEO'S gave the whole fucking recording to the federal bureau. They say it's their revenge against their plummeting stocks that took place because the same president authorised an operation that uncovered the whole feces in the meat scandal.
