I was listening to him for a while, and I respected his willingness to stick to the Bible on “unpopular” issues like gay rights and feminism. That’s a rare quality for a pastor today, although there are a few who seem not to compromise.
However, there were a few red flags for me. First was that he seemed to be angry all the time and didn’t appear to be interested in reaching out to sinners, but rather screaming at them (especially sodomites). When Christ came to the earth he went to eat with sinners saying, “"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Mark 2:17
