Why doesn't the US support Turkey to reconquer the Middle-East?

A stable Middle-East benefits everyone and the only way that is possible is by enforcing an authoritarian regime from someone the people would trust.

Turkey still has very strong links to Islam (especially now) so it would be different to a US invasion and all these small shitty countries would feel relevant united under the flag of Turkey.

It's the only way to solve the middle east problem

Pretty obvious: It's full of Turks.

Turkey is not close to stable at all, Iran is unironically the most stable country in MENA

Fuck sake, it literally is always their fucking fault.

Yeah but Iran's gay, Turkey are much more imperial and powerful enough (with US support) to fucking end this nightmare of small radical countries.

Invading a ton of countries would cause the most instability for decades. Turks aren't arabs and there are so many different kinds of Islam in the region. It would have to be supported by the US and by that, it would be seen as imperialistic as hell.

Your plan is dumb as fuck

Because it would make Turkey a threat to Europe. Historically a big part of why the Ottoman Empire was a threat to Europe was that they'd conquered the Arab world and had no major threats to their East that could be leveraged against them. The Brits should know this, they contributed to the downfall of the Ottomans in World War I by spurring the Arabs to revolt against the Turks.

Dude, US want to balcanize Turkey.
The coupt d'etat was made with their approve.

But they can't just attack Turkey.

But I'm not talking about a return to the Ottoman Empire, more like a United States of Mudslime where they behave more like Europe and are our allies to bring the region out of the dark ages

If Turkey took over the Middle East again, they'd follow the Ottoman playbook. It is literally the foundation on which their entire nation and sense of identity is built.

Yes but the Arab countries respect and like imperialism. With the promise that they'd be stronger united as one Arab nation, many would support the movement and wouldn't oppose. They'd rebel against their weak leaders and our allies Turkey can reclaim the land.

Not if the US completely prop the movement and Turkey would be reliant on US backing in the future or they'd be fucked.

That leverage would keep them in line and essentially puppet the leader of the middle east so that the modernisation of the region could begin.

Turkey declared war against Britain, France, Greece and Italy all at once to drive them out of Istanbul and stop foreign interference in their country. You think they'll just allow America to dictate their policies for them? We can barely get them to behave themselves in NATO.

Turkey cant even push IS back what makes you think they could handle taking over the entire middle east.

Turks aren't arabs and most arabs
Hate turks

why not parthia

Big difference between fighting guerilla warfare and a conventional war against a government.

It's not possible to end ME conflicts by supporting Turkey, or any other Nato, ergo defense-industry, backed power, cause they benefit from a never-ending war.
