Until now, if you wanted to get a license or renew it they gave you 3 forms
1 for a doctor
1 for a psychologist
1 for a shooting instructor
You take the forms to any independant profesional who evaluates you and stamps it. Then you go back to the firearms agency and give them the 3 forms and they give you your license
Last week they said the forms are being signed too carelessly so starting in two months the agency itself will evaluate people.
This means sitting in a room with a 20 yr feminism activist who enjoys a well paid goverment job thanks to cronysm and trying to convince her you need to own a gun. Its not happening

Some time ago there was a case where a guy was being robbed, he pulled out a gun and tried to shoot them but missed and hit a random person. The case was on the front page of all newspapers and they kept playing the video on TV all day. Since then they've been saying there werent enough controls so theyre making the interviews more strict. The end goal is that only goverment cronies will be able to pass.
