I look at other people around me and use them as motivation, such as looking at buff niggers and it motivates me to lift or go jogging. Makes you feel like you have something to compete with

Discipline is the answer to all

Its hard, you need to train it, momentum helps but you will fall and it will be hard to get back in the saddle. There isn't really any tips or hacks for these things you just have to force yourself to do things you should be doing and stop doing the things you shouldn't.

Its not just simply that discipline makes your life better, through discipline comes freedom. If you cannot master yourself, you are a slave and always will be.

You have to realize everything you want/desire comes from your body who wants you to survive
Our bodys are adapted to surviving under pre historic circumstances in small bands of other males
Now the situation has changed and we are civilized, but our bodies are still the same
The instinct that guide us want only two things: survival and reproduction
Biological speaking, that is the purpose of life

So behaviors you call degenerate are a result of your bodys survival instinct, eg desire to eat sweets derives from the evolutionary advantage of someone who eats lots sugar/fats/salts and therefore is less likely to starve, because those things were rare back then
This desire now makes us fat
So the step to counter that would be create a enviroment were "unhealthy" foods re rare, eg only have healthy food in your house and only buy sweets sparingly, as a cheatmeal on friday evening eg

Same thing with video games
We want to play games because they masturbate our urges to fight/compete/have achievements
Or porn, which satisfies the urge to reproduce
Or social media etc

Modernity makes it all too easy to satisfy the instincts that determine our behavior
That leads to dullness and losing of purpose in life


So to do the right thing, dont fight those desires/urges
Guide them to do the right thing
Like a stream, dont try to stop it, but change its path by altering its riverbed, so to speak
You want action? Dont play video games but take up your mp3 player, put on some pushinbg music like power metal or eurobeat and run until you throw up

Get rid of the negative shit and your body will shit its desires to better things, the right behavior

Two necessary things to make it a successful long term battle:
A philosophical and moral framework.
The discipline to adhere to it along with the conscientiousness to recognize your failings to it and self correct.

You need to find out what defines you as an individual and ask yourself what it is you would most like for yourself to have accomplished in the next 10 years. Then, start making out a plan of how you need to act and what you need to do to accomplish that year by year. Make contingencies for when you falter and when you feel that you cannot overcome something, figure out what sort of support system you could use (eg, family, friends, church, etc) to help you through it.

With that, begin to ask yourself why you do these things you know are ultimately destructive to you.
Sexual misconduct? Is it an underlying need to prove oneself as a sexual being (along with the social value you psychologically have attached to that)? Perhaps a need for intimacy or a fear of it? Look into yourself.
Excessive alcohol? What do you feel you are losing by not drinking? A need to be occupied? A belief you need it to socialize? Simply feeling that without it you'll be missing out on something?

You need to break down your problems into what they are in terms of your psychology and then figure out how to change those psychological dispositions or redirect their energies into something positive.

Why are you taking adderall?
I was put on adderall because I'm like insanely depressed and like 5 doctors have no clue what the problem is. Got brain scans and everyone is even more lost now. Adderall on top of it (which apparently is a "severe major treatment resistent depression" option) doesn't do shit once you build a tolerance in a week to a month tops. If anything, tolerance alone should get you off of it.
