What do you think?

Yes.

I c wut you did thur op

He's convincing but I've heard many other academics say he's wrong without actually providing an argument. I know about half of the people on here like him and the other half think he's meme tier, so I'd just like to hear the other side's argument in earnest

Yes, but "post-modernism" is just politically correct term for cultural marxism. Derrida, for example, isn't a "french post modernist". He's a kike.

where the fuck is the foodless pic, niggA?

Do you think he will ever name the Jew?

He says post-modernists default to marxism due to a lack of direction. In reality it's marxists who turn to post-modernism in order to not have to justify their failed ideology.

No, of course not.

He almost did in one Q&A session.
I believe that if he names the Jew in his lectures he will be kicked off the campus before he can finish his class.

Even going that far is oversimplifying it. It's simply that marxism and post-modernism are the same thing. They go together.

couldn't find OP's pic so i had to photoshop it

I like him but I take everything said with a grain of salt and determine for myself what to believe on based on the facts that I know. So I can neither say that I believe him about everything.

What did he say?

therefore he is the eternal jew then

I think it's inevitable honestly. People will notice a pattern and it will come up sooner or later.

Post-modernism is a tactic for eroding status quo. Non-marxists could adopt it as well under the right circumstances.

I found the video, watch from 34:35 for the question.
youtu.be/8ABa4RdNPxU?t=34m35s

thanks dude

>no I don't want to go out on that limb, not yet

It's coming.

Oh yeah, that's right. I remember on his Joe Rogaine interview, he mentioned Solzhenitsyn, and of course I know him best for Two Hundred Years together. I just assumed Peterson hadn't put 2 and 2 together. But it looks like he is aware of the jewish role in basically everything bad, and just isn't willing to talk about it. Or he's just willing to say "well jews are smart, and intellectuals tend to be open and embrace marxism/post-modernism"

At the end of the day, I still see Peterson as a "gateway" sort of guy. Willing to drop some redpills, but still too much into the "muh individualism, can't judge individuals based on groups and heuristics" sort of guy.

>when you realise that Jewish intellectuals are responsible for the spread of the most patholigical ideologies in last 2 centuries

where's da pick ya fucking cunt

Leafs might literally crucify him if this video is ever made

Maybe we can egg him along the path. He used the fact that 200y together hadn't been translated into english as a crutch. But there ARE unofficial translations all over the place. Next step is to get him to read it?

He probably has already. I just think he's not ready to go down that road yet

...

Leafs already want him dead, I can only imagine what they would do to him if he was to name (((them))).
I have a feeling he has already read the unofficial translations or already recognises the role of Jewish intellectuals through his other academic pursuits.
He seems far too intelligent to not pick up on that pattern.
Also, he seems to have a fairly sympathetic understanding of the National Socialists, but he does go full gorillion from time to time in his lectures.

Yes, well, maybe, because no one is entirely sure. . . Rather, no one on the opposing side has the courage to actually define the ideology they follow, which we would label generally as post modernism, without resorting to obscurantism or deflection. So those people who follow those ideas would not say they are post modernists but something else, and yet never explain what that something else is either, but defintely not post modernists!
So I'm going to try and explain what I think post modernism is. A critical theory where society, culture, and all those things they encompass, are not "organic" in creation and structure, but on some level deliberately created by someome or some group for the purpose of power. In general it seems to me post modernists deconstruct everything they can to a base level of "power games between different people, classes, races, etc". By doing this they inherently strip meaning from very meaningful ideas and objects, they begin to view them as meaningless, only worthy to be destroyed and replaced by something new and completely unalike. Materialism and/or nihilism seem to be common among these people.
This is a very dangerous ideology in my opinion because stripping meaning from very meaningful ideas, philosophies, culture, art, etc and viewing them as something that is meaningless, or, not worthy of meaning, but as something to be replaced, as an obsticle to the progress of some form of perfect utopia of "pure reason". The very same line of reasoning that led Communists to kill hundred million people, to opress many more, to destroy the culture, and more importantly, the spirit of a great many people.
Cultural Marxism I think is very closely related to post modernism, though Im not sure they are the same thing. Regardless, both ideologies need to be extinguished as best we can manage.

...

>Also, he seems to have a fairly sympathetic understanding of the National Socialists

He definitely does. And the first step of taking the redpill is saying "I understand where they were coming from". If you can say you understand the appeal, then you're already 90% there and just need to put those last few pieces in place.

That said, I don't think Peterson is ever going to fully go that far. Maybe internally he will, but I don't see him espousing the virtues of national socialism in his lecture hall, considering he'd lose everything and possibly go to jail.

...

>ive never read anything about marxism or "post modernism" but i feel qualified to speak about it

you're a hero

They can't all be wrong.

Yep, he's only 5 minutes of oven arithmatic and a short lesson on the chemical properties of Zyklon B away from a full reversal on his position regarding the National Socialists.
That being said, I doubt he has not already worked that all out on his own, he appears to be exceptionally bright.

oy vey goy

I enjoy listening to him a lot. He's spot on about defending freedom of speech, being against mandatory language use being put into legislation.

does he ever name the Frankfurt School?

why doesn't he just name the Jews

Me or Peterson?

Millennials eat it up though

It's not just millennials though, people have been eating this shit up in academia for 100 years.

that means that ((((peterson)))) is just trying to cover up the nose by saying ((((god's chosen with superior iqs)))) tend to be liberal
All leftists are officially Jews now. gentile blood or not

In academia. It's spread to pop culture now. I think it's effects are irreversible at this point

Millennials are fucking retards that grew up with a Music Television channel that had nothing to do with music.

This might be an exaggeration but you get the point, TV has gone down hill and it shows it's effect on "millenials". Couple that with over-sheltered lifestyles and you get shit like "refugees welcome", speech that can't hurt others feelings & claiming a whole range on imaginary genders to feel special.

I know it's cliche but my generation is way too soft

probably. the guy's a fairly solid thinker.
shit quality post, though. give us a paragraph or two, or a link to a video or something.

I'd kill to have a drink with JBP desu

I mean, he doesn't drink, but if he did

>"muh individualism, can't judge individuals based on groups and heuristics"
he'll swallow the normal distribution curve redpill soon. given the path he's on he can't avoid it.
right now smart money is on him struggling to hide his power level. it will only take a small catalyst and it will all come spilling out.

pic related is what I imagine might happen if I got a few drinks into him

just remember that something being a 'meme' doesnt make it wrong or untrue.

200y of what weren't translated?

He takes this stuff 100% seriously and is all about speaking the truth.
If he's ever gonna name the jew you will be sure it's with just as much power as his previous statements.

One thing he already talked about is how the old testament and jewish people want to create the perfect state, an utopia that brings us closer to god. He explains how that failed everytime it was tried. Then Chrstianity came along telling everyone to stop focusing on the perfect state (((new world order))) and instead focus on the individual.

...

Yeah, I know. Like I said, I really do want to here the other side but it seems to be people uncomfortable with his stance on religion, which I don't find to be that difficult to understand, or trolls on here

I honestly think it would take some kind of cataclysm worse than the World Wars to put us back on track.
If the conniving jews/commies/post modernists/ whatever you want to call them just keep going, covering up their crimes, and sneaking their demoralizing culture and proxy wars past the majority of the public, we will never recover.

Yes and no. He fails to consider the JQ.

Alienation is rooted in the Jewish experience.

Do you have a link?

Two-Hundred Years Together, a piece of literature by Solzhenitsyn describing the relationship between the Russians and the Jews.

Solzhenitsyn's book where he's accused of being extremely "anti-semitic"

Hes considered it, just hasn't fully collected his thoughts yet

See

It's in his 2nd Joe rogan podcast.
Both are worth watching to get his general gestalt.

shut up, leaf...

Thanks

Three drinks in and Peterson is telling you about how you're a lobster and you have to climb the dominance hierarchy by killing the next biggest lobster.

>lobster and you have to climb the dominance hierarchy by killing the next biggest lobster.
I missed that meme, is that something he actully said or is it made up to parody him?

>He seems far too intelligent to not pick up on that pattern.
He's essentially stated before that he thinks it's because Jew's are intelligent and as a culture more focused on academia, and that leaves them open to radical left wing extremism, which he frequently connects with personality traits.

He talks about lobsters a lot

...

...

youtu.be/KnIAAkSNtqo

really man no one has posted the real photo. you guys have changed man

He uses the example of Lobsters having a social hierarchy based on serotonin to explain how hierarchies are basic social truths, and at least as old as our common ancestor with lobsters.
but to my knowledge, he doesn't say to become a lobster

they'd put a little cap on you and call you "sammy the chimp" or something along those lines, as pirates do enjoy nicknames

Reminder that no matter how strong you are, two people with 3/4ths your strength working together can take you down.

This is where I think you're wrong. This ideology is very prevalent among academia, artists, politicians, "experts", and "intellectuals". The rot is at the top and it's trying to impose itself on the bottom. Unfortunately (or fortunately), while post modernism sounds great in a paper, book, lecture, or meeting, real LIFE experience tends to immediately refute it's core presuppositions.

When I say real life experience, I'm talking about hardship, success, love, hate, rich, poor, health, sickness, good times and bad times. Many people in the upper middle and upper class have no idea what people are really like. They live in their own bubbles, talking to people who think like them, share similar experiences and beliefs as them, and generally don't have contact with the unwashed, ignorant, backwards, "others". These people are very much lacking in true introspection, which you need to face different ideas and people for.
They detest the "unenlightened" others because they can't comprehend why they don't naturally want to follow their ideals and orders.
If you went to tell a carpenter that his making of beautiful furniture was the result of oppression by his customers, his artistic eye, skill, and taste was meaningless because how can you have meaning in an inherently oppressive society, the carpenter would tell you to fuck right off. Most other people don't give a fuck about any of that. They're happy to get a pay check, feed themselves and their family, go enjoy some vacations, and look at pretty things put together by people who don't view society as meaningless.

This rot is at the top, and it needs to be cut out and burned with the weeds and thorns.

Don't know why everyone overcomplicates things. Ideas/memes can be visualized as ripples that interact and effect each other.

It might take knowledge of a higher dimension, though.

I think you're the only one senpai

...

Absolutely. And it's leaking to unexpected corners of the Internet.

yeah, it'd seem that high IQ combined with a culture/religion that tells you that you're the chosen people and everyone else on the planet are swine is a dangerous combination

Short story long, the appendix to 1984

I was discussing this with a friend who is very into post-modernism, who is a bit of a marxist. He was saying that in reading foucault/derrida, shit like that, general postmodernist authors, that the point is to be aware of how everything is constructed rather than requiring the next step taken by some to feel a need to completely deconstruct and tear everything down to rebuild.

He lurks

ill fly to NY
snatch you up
sell you to some colonial pirates and they'd turn you into the ship's monkey boy
engaging in fight's with the wild game the pirates looted from on land
for the enjoyment of them all
and you'd call everyone "me harties"

Do you want to hear something very interesting? One of the pioneers of this work, Sapolsky, is a friend of Obama and was one of the first people Obama called, to talk about Sapolsky's book. Robert Sapolsky studied monkeys and the relationship between their social status in the hierarchy and their neurotransmitter and immune system levels. In 2005 he wrote a book called "Monkeyluv" I wonder if that is what Obama called him to ask questions about. Sapolsky is a Satanist too I am pretty sure.

>British "humour"

>implying

Incredible. And it's a Youtube comment, no less.

It's funny, a couple months ago my brother wanted to take me to see the new Star Wars movie for my birthday. I told him I didn't want to see it, although I couldn't tell him why - I'd been listening to a lot of JBP's lectures around that time and I had this ineffable feeling that seeing that movie would be a total waste of time because I knew it would just be another piece of propaganda, although I didn't know what message it would be trying to convey.

Seems I was right. Though I almost want to see it now, just to see it for myself.

Don't waste your time. It is.

...

This isn't british humour. Good British humour is dry and smart, not some stupid copypasta this fag is posting everywhere.

Obviously senpai.

Source?

a strange attractor is a strange choice to illustrate.
nevertheless, always beautiful.

Your recipe could use a pinch of hyper-psychopath.

Same here. It's not just because of Peterson. I've lost interest in a ton of shit after all the virtue signalling I've seen from celebrities. Especially Marvel. I used to watch those movies to zone out, but after Chris Evans went from bro to bitch I dropped out.

I get the feeling everyone I know probably thinks I'm going insane or depressed or something, but once you realize all the bullshit that's out there, it's impossible not to change your habits.

fuck. This was my number one concern when I saw the new trailer.
Was this on a peterson video? Or a star wars video?

A random Star Wars video.
