Church could also mean a conglamoration of the will of Christendom into a temple of being. A spirit, if you will. A place that all worshippers could enter in time of need, being, prayer or wahtever. It doesn't need to be physical nor do I think it is.
And, don't forget or come to realize that all of physical is God. Being your path you claim you are is the path of God. You don't need a religious order or teacher to instill that in you that you couldn't find with God already.
