Why do conspiracy theories seem to be a predominantly right wing/Libertarian domain?

Why do conspiracy theories seem to be a predominantly right wing/Libertarian domain?

>the patriarchy

>Why are the easily swayed and impressed parts of the population not coming up with stories about easily swayed and impressed populations being controlled in secret by other forces?

Because most conspiracys that don't involve things like aliens and flat earth are true. So the left covers them up and dismisses them as "fever dreams". Thus making any believer look like an idiot.

"Great wits are sure to madness near alli'd;
And thin partitions do their bounds divide:"
John Dryden

This.

>White supremacy

Social justice is conspiracy theory taught as fact.

>systemic oppression of X minority causes them to do poorly in all fields in all environments

Because liberals only pretend to be smart by regurgitating all sorts of hip and trendy buzzwords. To them, calling someone dumb is the greatest of insults, because they themselves are insecure faggots who mask their own stupidity with reversed psychology.

Conservatives and libertarians are actually smarter; they use logic and reasoning and are thus more prone to connecting all sorts of dots - leading to a larger prevalence of conspiracy theories within their circles.

...

LOL tinfoil what a pleb. My lead lined fedora is 1000% more effective and stylish to boot.

conspiracy theory is a term invented by the CIA to discredit legitimate findings by the right wing/libertarian domain

Cognitive dissonance

Leftism is a cult of programming....

White males have a different morality which prevents acceptance of said programming.

However the left has successfully erased our history and philopshy thereby leaving white men unable to make sense of their reality.

This cognitive Dissonace drives them to seek n answer which all to often is a "conspiracy theory"

Alternatively they are government psyops to discredit white males.

Most conspiracy theories other than the retardednesretarded are actually true

The better question is why do you think it is so incredible that two or more people would work together in secret to commit a crime?

Because people with those political views tend to have an inherent distrust for big governments

Because Communism/Socialism is the deepstate's method of controlling the masses.

The "left wing" is really just communism-lite.

Are you retarded?

>Trump is a Russian spy

Not all right wing muh boy.

Have you missed all the Russian conspiracy theories lately?

I ironically think this. Some conspiracy theories are pants on head retarded, but anyone who has been exposed to toxic human behavior will see that conspiracy theories are all the more likely. Especially those involved in political corruption. Nobody ever brings up the fact that you don't have to be a good person to be a politician. In fact you don't have to be a person at all, people who crave power become caricatures of human desire. It's all so obvious at that point how the game works

>Trump Russia story constantly being spewed by left-leaning friends.

Sorry friendo conspiracies are popping up all over the place, not just the alt right hugbox or the virtue signalling echo chamber on the left.

You need to watch more Netflix documentaries.

Unironically* wow too much wine

They need to feel that something else is responsible for their failures in life.

Because they all lead to the same end point eventually. Plus the evil conspirators may be Mystery Babylon based but they, at least openly and officially, use the Left side of politics far more.

dumb people like dumb things

plenty of left-wing conspiracy theories out there that fall under the greenie/woo-woo umbrella. anti-vax especially.

but since a lot of conspiracy theories are about painting the government as the bad guys (the "deep state" concept is just the latest iteration), they are popular with small-government/anti-government types.

another category is the idea of some minority ethnicity exercising outsized control over some population. who else do you have on the right? hey, racists and anti-semites!

what is circular reasoning

>right wing retard uses a conspiracy to explain why conspiracies are common among right wing retards
You can't make this shit up folks!

when you believe in fairytales like god and jesus then you are susceptible to believe in literally any bizarre shit imaginable

Yes goy it's all conspiracies. But don't DARE to question the evul patriarchy, "heteronomativity" and white supremacy, they are all real goy.

>The Patriarchy
>White Supremacy
>GMOs
>Megacorporations
>Global warming
>76+ genders
>"Islam is a religion of peace."
>Crystals
>"We are all equal."
>Gender pay gap
>Trump-Russia
>Whites invented slavery
>AIDS isn't behaviorally driven
Two way street, bro. Check 'em.

This. 100% this.

>elite atheist superhuman genius

It's because left-wing conspiracy theories are put on TV and called "the news".

Right/ libertarian are more free thinks and arnt just sheep that accept anything (((they))) shove down their throats.

>naive cucked idiot

So, the news segment about the new Applebees opening up in my town on my 11pm local is actually a conspiracy theory?

>mfw the Applebees was never there

>Bush comes to power
>left concocts conspiracy theories galore about how he's creating a NWO
>Obama comes to power
>right concocts conspiracy theories about socialism and FEMA camps
>Trump comes to power
>left concocts conspiracies about Russian collusion

We've got a pattern of behavior here, but OP can't seem to remember past 2009. Confirmed underage.

FAKE NEWS

yeah, I remember the bush ones. the PNAC was a real thing, but maybe not quite as ebil as lefties thought. bush sure made a mess though

Because right wingers aren't as gullible as left wingers.

>muh patriarchy
>muh right wing militias
>muh russian involvement
>muh radicalized hackers
>muh cisgender fascists

>>muh right wing militias
so patriot groups in idaho and nevada are fake news?

oh, you're german. you wouldn't know

The fuck are you on about? Feminism and the regressive left are literally conspiracy factories.

>applebees owned by the rothschilds
>jew'd again

Most veterans/former government workers swing right wing and have witnessed first hand some of the more questionable things they have done.

The left has cultural hegemony, so conspiracies will be about them.

Nobody disputes right wing militias exist.
They dispute their legitimacy.
Leftists think rwms are Timothy McVeys.

>Conspiracy theorists tend to lean towards the political spectrum that begs the least amount of government involvement.

Think about it... it's not that hard.

Because the Jew media runs with "left wing" conspiracies as facts. The right wing doesn't have a media presence since ww2

>Jews control the world
>White men control the world

Don't think of facts as being truthful statements. For instance when a journalist writes the news he's not reporting objective facts, he's manufacturing them by applying various news values and frames.

These frames are the important bit. They're basically a way of viewing and presenting information - a right wing blog would frame refugees differently from a left wing one. For a frame to work, you first need to prime. Priming is when you lay the groundwork and background necessary for the public to accept your frame when you present it to them.

Now thanks to the well documented leftist bias in learning institutions and the media, the public has been primed to see certain right wing viewpoints through specific frames. It's not that conspiracy theories are the domain of the right/librrtarian, it's that leftist conspiracies i.e. "Russian Hackers" are framed and let loose on a primed audience who see it as truthful and believable.

If you want to win the ideological war you're going to have to get right wing media strong enough to be able to prime and frame as well as mainstream media

Because left-wing conspiracy theories get spun into academic research and fields of study to trick kids.

who did they kill? the german was referring to rwds

because (((liberals))) live in a false reality based on multiple false assumptions

can you categorically say that they aren't?

>opposes federal government
>likes guns
>occupies government property while holding said guns

peaceful behavior, sure, sure

>Autistic Kike Screech

Leftists never question anything

>buzzwords

You should think about how someone could frame a similar argument against your point of view. To someone believing the Contra positive of you they would consider your system of beliefs illogical or riddled with fallacies.

The problem is that opinion is supposed to be the highest form of knowledge, only once you've studied something with years of academic rigor and discipline should you have an opinion. Anything else is just your best guess... Thus, most opinions come across as ignorant or dumb or whatever, because they just aren't informed to the extent that they should be taken seriously.

>Social justice is conspiracy theory taught as fact

T H I S
H
I
S

>peaceful behavior, sure, sure
Oh yeah, that whole not driving explosive trucks into government buildings killing 200 people isn't such a big difference.

had to google that one. unless you're referring to the actual KKK or your garden variety lynch mob, a "right wing death squad" sounds like a right-wing fantasy of a left-wing conspiracy theory

this

>t. liberal

leftists are literally anti-authority
all scientists are leftists
leftists have inquiring minds

>Why do conspiracy theories seem to be a predominantly right wing/Libertarian domain?

Because the word "conspiracy theory" was made up by the anti-American traitors in the CIA to silence the Americans who weren't gullible dumbshit fucking morons who believed everything the lugenpresse said (lugenpresse being nothing more than a propaganda mouthpiece for the anti-American deep state/establishment).

The anti-American traitors who throw these pejorative terms around take their cues from Alinskis playbook.

Literally, Trump needs to purge each and everyone of them.

Almost everyone lives in a false reality based on multiple false assumptions, no just the people you don't like

kys worthless neo-lib puke

leave the country and go live in a safe caliphate far away from the 'patriot group' menace

It only seems like conspiracy theorists are typically on the right because a lot of conspiracy theories are based on the notion that the government is up to something nefarious.

Like another anons have mentioned, other non-governmental conspiracies exist, such as feminist extremism, anti cop hysteria, baseless hatred for corporations, etc. They're just usually not very well thought-out conspiracies but they are conspiracy theories by definition.

I'm a GATE kid with a hole in my shoulder.

I'm not really the one you should ask these questions to.

Muh russians

not really a menace, more like a nuisance, but y'know

You mean, like MUH RUSSIAN TRUMP CONSPIRACY stuff?

Totally faggy left-wingers with that, senpai.

um have you seen all this russian bs latly

>the bell curve
i agree with any proven evidence
belief/faith is never part of the equation
i change my views of the world based on new evidence presented unlike conservatives that have a belief and try to cherry pick and use mental gymnastics to make the conclusion fit
i actually have a copy of this book

Liberals control the media and therefore perception.

>GATE
This meme needs to die.

I'm a gate kid too but I don't fall into any of the supposed GATE conspiracy archetypes. GATE was just a way for schools to boost standardized test scores and appease parents, it was basically a glorified daycare center.

In that case, you should see that most of the tenants of liberalism (ex. people are equal) fall apart simply because of genetics.

Why can't you think for yourself?

keep playing the smug card, it's going to work out really well for you in the near future

what

JFK assassination is left wing conspiracy
Bush did 9/11 is left wing conspiracy
Trump colluded with Russia is left wing conspiracy

the fuck

you are misunderstanding this
people are not equal
biological variation is real

equality means equal rights and treatment and human worth as a person
>all men were created equal

Autistically screeching "FALSE FLAG!!!11" every time something significant happens isn't thinking for yourself

I'm only generalizing the left right dychotemy because in my mind the left generally doesn't actively reflect, meaning they purposefully don't rethink about a topic at a later time, formulating a more nuanced or complex understanding under their own will. This boils down to not reflecting on the nature of government. They live in fancy, not reality. They idolize the government as what it can metaphysically provide them (solely in a safety blanket mode) and is successfully working towards its aim to better standards of life for all. The distinction of left right is realized by the people who live more in reality than fancy. They understand the government is "working" to the aim but is not working as well as our fancy would work it. But thats life so they focus on the actual betterment of the work, not the betterment of the outcome. Presupposing the entire aim always looks to freedom and liberty and truth.

Because right wingers are more likely to actually educate themselves on what their governments have done in the past while knowing what a life under a government gone insane would look like. The left thinks of government like an all powerful distant relative that cares for them in all its aims if negotiated with. In their want for the unfair negotiation stacked against them to be fair and kind they choose to omit that part of the governments capacity.

Its simply a matter of conceptualizing the possibility of it happening in a real way, reasonable way. The left can't do this because they simply aren't capable of doing it like the right would.

I am not speaking for the validity of the conspiracy or not, just willingness to accept a mindset where they can exist. Some are real.

>human worth as a person
That's where you're wrong. People aren't worth the same. It makes sense to advocate that people should be equal legally, but no one deserves equal treatment in a social sense.

>the capital is a sentient evil entity

Both sides have arguments that simply fall apart when facts are thrown at it. Horseshoe theory will do that.

For example, The extreme Christian Right believe the Earth is either Hollow, Flat, or has a Firament, which is just as absurd as the extreme left who believes that genetics dindu nuffin.

That has nothing to do with horseshoe theory. Centrists have arguments that fall apart as well. There are irrational beliefs everywhere.

Its amusing that a lot of you fucking retards talk about how conspiracy theories are bad. Why don't we take a look at all the conspiracy theories that have been around sense the 80s/90s/00s that have been found out to be true?

>government monitoring all data within the US
true
>government found storing all your phone calls and internet traffic information
true

These are some big alium level conspiracy theories that have come out to be true. Go ahead share your own conspiracy theories that turned out to be true.

>it was basically a glorified daycare center.

Daycare centers don't wipe your memories.

When in he flying fuck did I say something was a false flag?I'm saying be more open minded, why conform to what some fuckwad on the news tells you and accept it as truth like sheep.

>Why do conspiracy theories seem to be a predominantly right wing/Libertarian domain?
Leftists aren't nearly creative enough to come up with an original and logical theory

those were always more of a question of when rather than if, though. of course governments would deny having such capabilities

Yes, but I find that is mostly those on the extreme that hold these extreme beliefs, which would include extreme centerists. Its more of how radical they are in their belief rather then where their belief lies, as I find the more invested they are the more willing they are to accept lies that they like.

>patriarchy
>muh 1%
>muh Zionists
>global warming

Nah m8, the left has their
fair share
of nutjob neurotics as well.

The words 'conspiracy theory' annoy the shit out of me. Let's examine those words.
A 'conspiracy' is people making plots to do something illegal or nefarious.
A 'theory' is an idea, a plan.
Have you ever conspired? I have. Telling my kids that Santa exists, and we must leave cake and a drink for Rudolf the red nosed reindeer. Plotting with my wife to trick our kids.
Pulling my hand behind my shoulder and pretending to throw a ball for my dog. All deception.

you're really being too general about it
economic worth and physical worth are different than the sanctity of human worth

Thats not the point for many years MANY MANY people did not believe this shit would ever happened. I talked to multiple people back then and they refused to believe it. Now a lot of those very same people are saying OH YEAH I KNEW IT ALL ALONG. yeah no you fucking didnt you denied it and laughed at everyone who fucking warned your ass

>global warming
>conspiracy theory

a fuckingleaf

Then why don't you add some nuance. Most leftist thought contends that groups of people are treated unfairly by "the system" and that they need to be given a better environment to succeed and everything will be happy and go-lucky. Whenever there is some kind of inequality between groups (wage gap, incarceration rates, etc.) voices on the left are the first to cry oppression, but not once do they ever entertain the simple possibility that different groups will naturally act differently even in the same environment.

>Trump has deep ties in the mafia going back to the 90s
>The ex-leader of Korea was apart of a satanist cult
>30% of catholic priests were involved in child abuse cases in Australia
>The head of the Australian Tax Office and his son were just arrested over a $300m tax evasion syndicate
>WE KNOW the CIA was heavily involved in drug trafficking
do people even realise how deeply rooted corruption has to be in these systems for these things to even be possible?
People need to be asking more questions because this is only the shit we KNOW
