Can we get rid of the manzanar memorial too? Tired of that place shitting up my desert

If they keep up this trend of removing old Civil War monuments, they'll probably have some new civil war monuments to put up soon.

Bumped and voted if that will do anything. Do you know what they do with the monuments once they are taken down? Hopefully kept safe at least.

the mayor of new orleans said he wanted them put in museums but don't hold your breath. the libs will probably chimp out over that too until they destroy them.

VOTE faggots!

the museum removing all confederate things is especially triggering. how the fuck can you remove that? do they want people to forget that a war happened?

They should be moved to somewhere were the people will actually respect them. New Orleans has spoken, they don't deserve to be honored with these monuments. I only pray that the coming societal shakeup comes soon before they destroy the last traces of the memories of these honored dead.

What about the pyramids, the Greek city states and the Roman monuments?

I'll never understand the attachment to a traitors cause, Legally the north could've hanged them all (or most) for treason.

New market!

Why is secession a problem?
If a group of people aren't benefiting from being in a government with people who hate them, why is it bad to leave?

Yep, last weekend's reenactment. Good times.

Cool man. You ever get any VMI cadets show up to those?

The high casualties were from the cannon shells firing grape shots/canister shots like these examples

They're going to be placed in the museum of the guy that paid for their removal...all just a money-grab

Well it wasn't legal, and not everyone is the confederate states wanted to leave the union.

Still I think the statues should be put in museum's not destroyed or anything, just not displayed on public land. fly a swastika or a confederate flag on private land as much as you want.

I just always find it amusing that people who are the most "MURICA" often support flying the flag of traitors.

Yep, tons of current and former. The new cadets still march here every year as well.
