Global warming a counter argument

Is Global Warming real? I would give a counter argument to the accepted view. The Earth should be entering an Ice Age, there was very cold winters in 1800"s. So have we slowed down the cooling cycle? Is an Ice age inevitable?

maybe, but the main issue is the loss of habitable land.

Ice is nice when it's in a drink. The plants we eat don't do well in cold weather. An ice age could lead to global famine.

you can argue if it's manmade or not but it's undeniable that the world is on average heating up and we only need so much change before ecosystems freak the fuck out, weather patterns get extreme, and crops die

And natural selection and depopulateing the planet is a bad idea?

I give you that we are currently heating up like 50 years. That is hurting food production in Africa. The US produces more than ever before. This is a big picture question of whether the world is better off going the way we are going. The US not being a cuck to Europe!

I do believe the world is over populated in areas. They are not stopping having babies. They just cry to invade someplace else.

Their own data shows the worldwide temperature has been steady for over a decade now.

And its still cooler than it was in the 1930.

>Is an Ice age inevitable?
yes, in 50,000 years we will be in the middle of the next one, and we may have mini- cold periods before then.
we will probably have the die-off when the magnetic pole flips as this leaves us vulnerable to solar activity.
many die-offs in the past coincide with magnetic reversals

The last one started 22k years ago lasted 3k and on average are 20-25k years apart we are due!
Please try harder

Fun fact niggers. Normally after an Ice Age, the North pole is suppose to melt entirely during the time in between Ice Ages. This is the first in many Ice Age's where it still exist's.

more like 100000 years apart

We are nowhere close to due, our orbit is almost perfectly circular as of now, it will take thousands of more years before the ellipse grows to ice age levels again

A real treat that could happen tomorrow is Yellow Stone super volcano erupting, that would also stop global warming!

This

If the sun so much as farts while the earths magnetic field is weak (mid-flip) it will fuck us all.
Pretending the sun isn't the main factor in heating the earth is really painfully dumb.
The sun's electrical/magnetic influence is a trigger for earthquakes/eruptions too.

You can't read your own Graph yes a few heat events, but several drops in between those events .
No Shit Look At The Graph I did since you posted it!

Aren't Siberia and The Northwest Territory becoming more habitable?
There is plenty of land in the interior of Asia and North America

> That is hurting food production in Africa.
Is this even true?
Aren't Europe and Asia buying up more and more African land?
Aren't more and more US operations being ran in Africa to secure resources?
Africa is massive and not all of it's land is being utilized. Some of the land that is utilized is being ruined by climate change (same with India and Southeast Asia) but isn't there still mile after mile that could be put to use?

Nothing can be done about Mag field it is Earths core. We will some protection of magnetosphere from solar rays also a heating factor.

The erth will find a way of cooling us if dont then we are fucked, we need an Ice age

Aboout less rainfall. Yes to most answer. Yes Africans don't use land wisely

literally a google search and two clicks, you utter mong.

An Ice Age will kill the people (mostly immigarant and blacks) that are not used to that kind of weather, if this dosent happen in the next 20 years we are fucked

goodbye frozen spot on top, I wish i knew you but i was just a kid.

As noted by Time itself in 2013, the 2006 image on the right is an authentic cover, but the 1977 image is a doctored version of an 9 April 2007 issue which actually featured an article titled “The Global Warming Survival Guide”:

stop posting fake shit

Not going to argue down the up scale. Just say not that bad things could be much worse if your graph was flipped.

>le hockey stick graph

Top kek, the actual data doesn' t show that at all.

You posted predictions, not real observations, idiot.

I think asking if it's real or not isn't an issue. Is throwing money at it going to stop it or slow it down? Is it cheaper to adapt civilization to higher temperatures than to sequester high-density hydrocarbon energy?

These are the questions nobody seems to be asking.

>If the sun so much as farts while the earths magnetic field is weak (mid-flip) it will fuck us all.
what happens

>A RISE IN CO2 IS FOLLOWED BY A RISE IN GLOBAL TEMPATURES! THE SCIENCE IS S-

I've become convinced that the universe is primarily electric in nature, as is the sun. There is no nuclear furnace inside the sun, it's cool and dark in there compared to the surface
youtube.com/user/ThunderboltsProject/videos
suspicious0bservers.org/
we could guess that massive storms, floods, earthquakes, eruptions, typical end of the world stuff.

>THE RISE IN GLOBAL TEMPERATURES CAN ONLY BE EXPLAINED BY HUMAN INDUSTRIALIZATION AND CO2 EMISSIONS. THE SCIENCE IS SETT-

A good answer bump you get an A for thinking

It is arguable that:

1) The earth will continue to warm in the future

2) That the earth warming is a bad thing

4 Forces electric and grav we notice the most get a degree

>WE'RE ENTERING AN ICE AGE
>NO WE'RE ALL GOING TO TURN THE EARTH INTO A GIANT DESERT
>NO WE'RE GOING TO TURN IT INTO A GIANT SNOWBALL
>NO WE'RE GOING TO TURN IT INTO A GIANT OCEAN
>NO WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!

The problem that I see, is that many Sup Forumsacks just don't care. The damage from global warming is mostly ecological to the West, so these people just don't care if x number of striped gobies die or if a goatfish goes extinct.
It's just a question of values, kind of like how most people have been indoctrinated to not care about the white race going extinct.

I personally think it is of paramount concern to conserve nature, and it's only a small step from that to conserving races.
>another retard posting made-up numbers from billions of years ago, even though ice cores only go back thousands of years
You can't tell the average global temperature, you can only estimate it by distribution of plants and animals. Ice cores only give you atmospheric composition.

Fucking oil shills, my God.

what is gravity?

>Is an Ice age inevitable?

Of course, nature moves in cycles.

>t's undeniable that the world is on average heating up
>crops die
Which is a natural cycle. Also people think that a global warming would make less land inhabitable, the opposite is true, by heating the earth you evaporate more of the ocean causing an increase in rainfall and a greener landscape, less deserts near the center of the earth etc. It also means land like Canada and Russia will be able to grow crops properly which is economically beneficial and allows more land to be inhabited up north.

Sun energy is fusion! electricity only comes into play at heat to stop gravity from colapsing it!

i literally posted thermometer temperatures taken and averaged for 150+ years, which show a slow, but steady, upward temperature trend.

You've taken a bunch of imperfect models that were used as potential predictors, shoved them in a graph, and claim that since those predictors were wrong it invalidates hard data.

You absolute DIPSHIT.

If you heat the earth, ice at the poles melts and raises the sea level. All the evaporation increase does is make weather more wild and extreme, while making currently arable land inhospitable.

The fuck is with you idiots?

>doesn't believe in science just like the leftists
>thinks a conspiracy is more likely on the side of scientists despite having the same globalist agenda as the capitalists, but Atleast the scientists want to fix it

>rightwingers want to be as stupid as the ancestors who didn't go full isolationists but invited other races over
>they want to fuck up their childrens climate so that more rapefugees can get here

>red-pilled

why is it cooler and darker inside the heliosphere than on the surface?
youtube.com/watch?v=MU74kAmONQU

It would be discribed as the curvature of space due to mass. and all the mass there in is drawn to the center of the distortion.

Global warming, globalism, global Jewdeism, their all the same thing.

It's real, but it can be rectified and mitigated with a significant but easily possible effort. Now it's just an excuse to push nihilist doom porn and charge goys the Carbon Tax™.

>curvature of space
how do you bend nothing?
this is where physics becomes religion

The sun? Light is about temp. in that is your answer.

yes, we can change the pattern with climate change, the late 80s ozone repair as proof. It is imperative that we stop it now because in 200 years maybe the shifts in climate will cause an imbalance of the natural ecosystems and the agriculture of the US could be thrown off for a generation or any number of economy ruining events. But really what I expect the real problem will be is when china starts desperately needing water and having refugees from their coast, they will start a nuclear war over fresh water reserves.

Most of these swings are localized, whereas the current warming is a global average. The little ice age, for example, was caused by fluctuation in the Gulf Stream that normally warms Europe's climate. The alarmism from lefties isn't helpful, though.
I swear it's just our oil multinationals that bought half the burger vote 50 years ago. We're not all this retarded.

Not watching answering questions!

Except only one of those graphs is labelled from ice cores, you blithering moron. The other is from a 2002 study that use various methods.

>those methods are invalid because I say so

More like "anything that disagrees with me is invalid."

The fact is that the modern temperature change is nothing out of the ordinary or requires human activity to explain. Unless you think they were all driving SUVs when the Romans were growing wine grapes outside of London.

>Sup Forums believes in the 14 words
>Is ok with corporations and idiotic Republicans throwing their children's planet away for profit

>implying space is "empty"
day of the rake when

>Now it's just an excuse to push nihilist doom porn and charge goys the Carbon Tax™
This, also.

But space is something!

you used the temp readings from the ground sensors. Those are subject to local variation.
Your model falls apart if using neutral sat. data

don't let the jews ruin the planet for a few extra shekels

I hope there is an ice age so I can snowboard more. Love to snowboard

>most of these swings are localized

Why don't you read the fucking graph. And the Little Ice Age was not localized, there were social upheavals throughout the world - From the Americas to Japan - as a result of a decline in agricultural production.

>The Earth should be entering an Ice Age, there was very cold winters in 1800"s.
technically we're still in one

if there was ongoing nuclear fusion powering the sun then it should be hottest in the middle, it's not.
aether?
what does it weigh? can we count units of space? can you send me a sample to test?

What you are doing is called doubting. What you should be doing is questioning. Go get a degree, confirm the tests and the methodologies and you can then criticize the best minds on the planet.

THIS THIS THIS!!!!

If there are glaciers, then it is a glacial period. If there are no glaciers, then it is an interglacial period.

WE'RE STILL IN THE FUCKING ICE AGE. WE NEVER LEFT IT.

I don't think it's really an issue either way. If it's real then new trade routes will open up with the melting of the ice caps thus having an overall improvement to the economy in the long-term plus we'll have the technology to adapt as a society and compensate for any potential damage to the global ecosystem. If it's not real then it's the status quo.

KEK GIVE US ANOTHER ICE AGE PLEASE SO THAT KILLS ALL THE NON WHITES IN EUROPE

(((studies)))
I'd like to see who funded them, the methodology, and an explanation of how atmospheric composition in ice cores can tell us temperatures of the past. That last point is where I smell bullshit, unless you think we can freeze fire.

Don't appeal to """science""" like this. Both leftists with their social science and corporate-funded 'studies' ruin any ability to have a meaningful discussion on things, because people just try to silence the other side with convenient charts they don't understand. Remember when the tobacco industry funded studies that showed no link between smoking and lung cancer?

Grew up in Florida I hate snow and cold weather!
Have fun snowboarding Though.

Well, unlike your graphs, almost all of mine have the fucking sources right on them, so why don't you look them up yourself.

They don't want you to know the truth of stars, because then they would have to reveal how they use them.

No just no. Shit would definitely fuck up but we will go extinct because of a pole flip that's stupid.

No we don't. The world won't end because of global warming. Cities by the ocean might be fucked but humans will be fine.

Could even argue it started in 1500's just takes awile to take hold thy last for thousands of years. We as humans think so small like a life time.

The earth will continue to warm because as CO2 levels rise, so do temperatures. Global climate change is not just an inconvenience. Entire populations can be displaced. You thought Syria is bad. Wait til half of china needs food, water and shelter. Food will be subject to changing pests. new ecosystems will necessarily develop and they could ruin our cities and towns. Think the small lake town that suddenly gets a drought prone climate. Looks like that town dies. How about california becoming drought stricken again but unending, or parts of florida becoming uninhabitable. Talk about a kick in the balls to the economy.

>What you should be doing is questioning.
re-read my posts mr. erudite scholar, it's all questions
what you are doing is name-calling to avoid glaring holes in the orthodox view
hope you're right because the next one may be underway already

this man is an intellectual powerhouse.

Here's a more sound framework :
> Pollution is bad
> The shit we put into the water and air aren't going anywhere. So, we should foster a culture of awareness as such and thus be efficient and respectful
> Pollution does impact the climate and the ecosystem
> To what degree : We are unaware of the degree. However,It is to a degree that should be respected.

Global Climate change is real. What a contributors :
> Natural cycles of the earth that our outside of our control. Some are documented. Some are still being studied and are unknown. This is a major contributor.
> Nature cycles of the sun that is outside of our control. The sun goes through cycles in which it puts out more/less solar energy. This is a major contributor
> Earth's magnetic field : It's the #1 filter of solar energy. It goes through fluxes and cycles that are outside of our control. Big changes in this variable alone are what contributed to major climate shifts in earth's history
> Earth's ozone layer : 2nd filter ... We contribute to harming this via pollution. Earth's ecosystem contributes to it too. We contribute to a notable degree but there are larger contributors to it that are natural.

See how easy this is ? To short straight and just be truthful.

Also
>the studies that support your opinion are invalid because the possibility of corruption
>but studies that support my opinion are incorruptable. Nobody would ever lie or exaggerate to get more grant money, and nobody in government would lie about a problem which gave them more authority over the economy and people's lives.
>You doubt scientists? What a crazy person!

statweb.stanford.edu/~tibs/sta306bfiles/ioan.pdf

tl;dr - People publish absolute bullshit all the time. Things like the Minoan and Medieval Warm Periods are established fact, as is the Little Ice Age. Anthroprogenic Climate Change is not the only way to explain the observed temperature changes. Simple as that.

Fuck Florida and your awful drivers. I hope you sink into the ocean.

It will blow the atmosphere into space, leaving us with no oxygen, no climate, no heat regulation, and we'll be Stalker'd by radiation.

I did read the graph. First of all, as I said before, we only started taking temperature measurements in the 18th century, and we can't know the temperatures beforehand. Secondly, even with indirect evidence, almost all of the graph is dedicated to European events. And there was a shit ton of activity going on in that region, between the Gulf Stream, the end of the Ice Age, and the recent formation of the Mediterranean sea. So minor fluctuations over the centuries isn't crazy.
>you need to prove my claim wrong
I'm not here to change the mind of one autist oil shill. I'm here to prevent you from poisoning the minds of others.

It is hard to measure the mass of a neutrino.. Every point in space has the potential to be mass. the weird part is does the mass move or does space recreate it at each event. Thats Phylosophy. The fabric for the construct?

As long as whole countries live off of massive reserves of oil, Fuel cars ain't going away.

CO2 production increasing, earth warms, climate changes, more CO2 produced, methane is released from siberia, methane from cows (steak pun here), and the material manufacturing putting other greenhouse gases into the air. The world used to be cyclical. Now we are here, and we are screwing ourselves in the future.

You are retarded read a book our atmosphere will not fly off into space. Why are we here if this has happened before? The only thing that would fling our atmosphere into space is if our molten core cooled until it stoped functioning. Look up plate tectonics retard.

Ice ages happen when the earths axis shifts. So no.

Who?

Because we keep trying to "correct" things that are not meant to be corrected.

>but studies that support my opinion are incorruptable.
You don't even know my opinion, dumbfuck, and I never said this.
But things like the greenhouse effect are easily demonstrable, and human emissions of certain gases are also easily quantifiable, as are recorded temperatures. It is basic fucking logic that we should be using, not borderline useless modern """science."""

warm periods and ice ages has been a thing of the Earth. Orbital mechanics and place tectonics all play a part in this. The Earth has been totally covered in an ice age. We still aren't close to hot temperatures of the past.

All true . Covered 60 million years ago.

Ohh way to use the outlier year as a representative norm.

Here's the Earth covered entirely in Ice

yea, lol. "This is where physics becomes religion" Thats totally looking for answers and not just putting your hands over your ears screaming LALALALALA. Space being bent is proven experimentally. You think we just pull shit out of our ass then go to the moon based on that. It took a lot of scientists and engineers a lot of time and thought to put neil on that rock. Your ignorance of facts is why you'll never amount to anything more than an internet troll.
