You have no understand of either what a family entails, or the dynamic between "alphas" and "betas" in a society. You cannot eliminate one through natural selection, there will always be leaders and followers, which is what the Alpha/Beta dynamic boils down to.

Natural Selection as applied to nature, is the survival of the strong over the weak. Regardless of whether you are obscenely wealthy, or simply scraping by, both people survive. So, as a measure of Natural Selection neither side is superior.
Natural Selection was always meant to be a measure of the physical fitness of an organism. Intelligence plays a part, but to insinuate that those who play with economics are more intelligent than those who do not is a crass generalisation.
