That's where (((they))) have all their Shekels stored. Political and social stability is required.

Mountain Jews

Pretty much all Europeans are allowed to own guns for hunting or sports.

>everyone's allowed to own guns
>I literally know only 1 guy that actually owns guns

really makes yout hink.

is switzerland the ultimate argument for gun rights?

After going through 89 rectal checks to get a single shot .22lr

Which canton? The frog ones are very socialist and hate guns. They are also the biggest shitholes.

Last time someone tried to take their weapons they broke the rules of gentlemanly warfare and drowned all the nobility in the river instead of demanding ransom.

They're not. Anyone in Britain can own a gun if they apply for a license, in fact it's even in the bill of rights.

Because their military is based on a militia system and everyone is expected to be able to serve and be competent in firearms.

Yes, in the UK. Swiss and Czechs have great gun laws, Northern Europe and Austria have ok gun laws.

You realise how hard it is to get that license. You need a good "reason" to even get the smallest of rifles.

Spot on. Everyone who is trained in gun use while doing mandatory military service gets to keep it at home. Ammo stays at the military facility though.

Does that even matter though? If you've a permit for another rifle in the same caliber then surely you can procure more from a gun store?

The good reason is being a member of a sport shooting club, there are many in any city and around the country side. Join one and you can have a rifle.

Shotguns simply require you to tell the police you want a shotgun because you plan to go clay pigeon shooting at some point.

Basel-Stadt. I grew up in the East though.

They cant own ammo

As far as I know, we're not allowed to carry unless we have a very good reason to, i.e. being a security staff member etc.

Yep doesn't matter. Just wanted to explain the infamous gun per capita ratio of Switzerland. You can buy any gun at the local arms dealer legally if you have permanent residence in the country.

Fake news. You can buy ammo for guns but you have to store it separately in a safe.

Anyone can own guns, we just can't buy them in the local mom&pop's store down the street.

This is false. They simply don't issue ammo anymore. You can still buy ammo at gun stores and such.

I assume this also means there is no law against buying your own ammo for your service weapon.

Mountain Jew

I heard the Czech Republic has decent gun laws.

Basel is a shithole. Move to Nibwalden.

I know this country better than you do. Basel is fine.

Estonia has better - fully automatic weapons

Wrong. Basel is infested with leftists, shitskins and has one of the highest violent crime rates of any cantons.
Basel also voted for more gun control.
You're probably leftist trash too.

GOAT TIER CANTONS:
>german ones except zurich and base, ticino is GOAT too

NIGGER WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING TIER:
>french ones and basel and zurich

Basel sucks.

Silly goose. Euros are all cucked and dont even KNOW freedom. But your mountain jews know the score. They have all the guns

ticino is so fucking good. I loved visiting it

so 1 blonde white girl will be able to escape to save civilization.

It's part of their culture. You will not have gun rights unless you have a gun culture first. And if you lose your gun culture, you will lose your gun rights in time.

cool, got any more info?

How comes I have 4k 5.56 and 2k 9mm rounds at home I bought from my local gun store?
>rally activated muh almonds.

Because they protect all the Vatican's stolen Nazi gold.

We need a permit to buy guns if I'm not mistaken and if we aren't buying them for leisure, hunting or collection purposes, we have to give a reason as to why we want to purchase a gun. I wonder if they can reject to issue a permit if I wanted to purchase a gun for self defense in case of a chimpout or something. They might suspect I'd use it on someone or on myself.

>needing a license to exercise a right

WEE LAD

You are so cucked that you think that's OK.

>Why are Swiss the only Europeans allowed to own guns?
>Because they protect all the Vatican's stolen Nazi gold.
/thread

>w-we can own ammo!
>we just have to keep it locked up in the combination Jew

Stay cucked, Europe.

I have a loaded gun in each room of my house and have lots of ammo in my bedroom closet and garage.

>anyone can have gun
>but not anyone can sell them

Just admit it: you aren't free.

you don't need a permit to buy bolt action rifles
WES takes literally two weeks to obtain. on the form you have to specifiy a reason if you are buying a gun for purposes OTHER than hunting, sportinf, or collecting.

>American
>LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR COUNTRY
Everytime

Owning guns are part and parcel of being Swiss. Sorry, but that's the new reality.

You're so wrong mate.
I can walk into the gun store, present my recent background check and buy a K31 and all ammo I ever want on the spot over the counter.
If I want a Sig550 you fill out a shall issue permit and have to pay something like 50chf for 3 weapons. No reason, nothing needed. Just your name, a recent background check and 3 days to wait till you get your permit. I actually have 5 valid permits laying around as all you fill in is the weapon type pistol or rifle.

I've been to Switzerland multiple times and know their gun laws extremely well. Basel is a shithole.
thelocal.ch/20160322/crime-rate-higher-in-western-switzerland-report
>While Basel-City had the highest level of violence, Geneva had the most burglaries.

Fuck off van dijk

>UK
>Great gun laws
Hahahahaha bin that fork save a idk actually

Lmao where do you live burger?

Mandatory military service has something to do with it. All males who reach a majority age go through basic training.

Most civilians are familiar with gun safety and responsible gun ownership due to that conscription, so voters tend to lean pro-gun.

Iceland

Switzerland is a tax haven for rich italians and germans

There is literally no such thing as a "swiss" person

>can't transport loaded magazines
I'm not particularly knowledgeable about guns but doesn't it take at least a minute or so to load up a mag? I think if I carried an unloaded rifle through any area where a rifle would possibly be useful I would just get murdered by someone who wants my rifle.

What are the gun laws in iceland like? can't seem to find info on it.

Article 8 of Waffengesetz:
>1 Wer eine Waffe oder einen wesentlichen Waffenbestandteil erwerben will, benötigt einen Waffenerwerbsschein.2

>Die Person, die den Waffenerwerbsschein für eine Feuerwaffe nicht zu Sport-, Jagd- oder Sammelzwecken beantragt, muss den Erwerbsgrund angeben.3

Meaning if I just wanted to buy a gun but not for the purposes listed, according to law, I would have give a reason for the purchase.

Also Abs. 2 Ziff. c:
>2 Keinen Waffenerwerbsschein erhalten Personen, die:
c. zur Annahme Anlass geben, dass sie sich selbst oder Dritte mit der Waffe gefährden;

How the fuck would they assume I'd endanger others or myself if I wanted to purchase a gun. Would saying "I inted obtaining a firerarm for self defense purposes" be enough for them to assume such a thing.

Again, that's what the actual law says.
Explain that shit.

>Meaning if I just wanted to buy a gun but not for the purposes listed, according to law, I would have give a reason for the purchase

You can still buy a K31 and any not semi automatic weapon over the counter by presenting a recent WES or Strafregisterauszug. The WES part is only relevant for semi automatic weapons.

On the WES permit there's a a part where it says I want to buy weapons for a other reason then hunting, sport or collecting...
you just leave it blank no matter what you want to do with the weapon because only a retard would write something like
>starting a right wing death squad n kill people n stuff
in there

see:
>waffenmarti.ch/shop/waffenerwerb/wegleitung-waffenerwerbsschein.html
always use the Fedpol one never the cucked cantonal WES applications where they want you to state exactly what kind of weapon you want to buy.
>waffenmarti.ch/shop/docs/Gesuch-Waffenerwerbsschein-d.pdf

Damn straight

I never saw people carry weapons in public (except military/police). Are we really that much packed with weapons ?

Where do you live? Even at lake Zurich I see people carry their rifles to/from range in the open all the time and I do the same.

Alright, thanks! I'll keep that in mind when I actually decide to buy a gun.

Fribourg

No problem lad. I totally suggest to join your local shooting club just to get some practice. If you want to buy a gun go for a K31 they're cheap, easy to get, reliable and do the job for everything from sporting to shtf rifle.
If you want something bigger, go to your local gun store and ask them to help you out with the permit stuff.

If it's in the city it's a rare sight but in the villages a completely normal thing.

Look at the black on white crime rate and theres your answer Burger. You should know your (((country))) does the same trick in the name of fruudom and look at the percentages thats got you, but oh wait your gonna use those guns for a "race war" oh wait your not, but at least you got Trump elected HAHAHAHAHA

>t. genevan

Of course not.

You're expected to buy your own to practice.

>Your country.

Pic related.

Don't worry, the EU will take them soon enough.
