Not a whole hell of a lot.

Drunk Ainu's being brought into the the Soviet fold by staunch Russian boot.

Also they lucky they managed to keep Hokkaido

japan lost so any gains from Russo war.and Chinese wars are taken away. They got lucky hokkaido was not taken way

>claim islands literally right next to land mass of another country as yours when you are much further away

this is fucking stupid, russia has enough fucking land already holy shit russia you are so greedy

>be russia
>"Alaska is ours!"
>"but it's on another continent entirely, Russia..."
>It's ours! We'll sell it! and then claim we got robbed!

Fuck you Russia

Khrushchev would have returned to those islands to Japan but the Japanese wanted all of them so there was no deal. In recent years there have been peace agreement talks but Putin doesn't want to give any islands.

Yep, Russia and Japan still don't have a peace treaty from WWII.

Oops, correction: Khrushchev would have returned just two islands closest to Japan but they wanted all so no deal.

They don't claim them boy, they OWN them. Also fuck you, you literally own Guam, Samoa, Diego Garcia ... wtf are u even talking about Yank

nothing, comrade. don't look pls

One of the reasons why did Americans throw the atomic bomb was Russias threat of conquering Japan. Just imagine Japan under SSSR.

Look m8, don't go getting your panties twisted. You got enough to worry about with the Chinese and Indians flooding your lands and turning into UK 2.0.

Most of the Island place and lands the U.S. controls are extremely poor and trashy and criminal anyway, except for the tourist areas. It's not like they would be better off without us, because when have blacks ever created a clean, orderly society?

hairy proto-asians fapping over octopus cuckoldry

They should've dropped atomic bomb here as well.

It gets really thin but then it gets wide again

But muh aztlan

Japan getting btfo'd by Russia losing most of it oil resources and some people
>this is what libtards believe

This is a lie.

>During the 1956 peace talks between Japan and the Soviet Union, the Soviet side proposed to settle the dispute by returning Shikotan and Habomai to Japan. In the final round of the talks, the Japanese side accepted the weakness of its claim to Iturup and Kunashiri and agreed to settle on the return of Shikotan and the Habomai Islands, in exchange for a peace treaty. However, the U.S. government intervened and blocked the deal.[17][19] The U.S. warned Japan that a withdrawal of the Japanese claim on the other islands would mean the U.S. would keep Okinawa, causing Japan to refuse these terms.

it belongs to russia,,,

We don't talk about them.

>US struggles for the world peace, as usual

Can we build a bridge from Japan to these Islands to Russia? The distance between them is ideal for long bridges or tunnels even. Imagine if this was the terminus of the Siberian railway.

It's been my experience that sellers in Japan do not like to export because it's too much hassle. This would not only enable oil and raw resources to flow into Japan (which primarily imported via ship currently, making the cost of these goods relatively expensive), but also allow Japan to more easily export finished products. Moreover, if such a bridge system was built, the US would have strong incentive to build a travel system that spans the straight between Alaska and Russia, meaning the US could have a direct overland trade route to Japan. I think it's a good idea so long as the entrance trains were carefully monitored and any left over stowaways (assuming their were any) were severely punished.

Imagine how glorious this would be!

Alaska > Russia > Japan railway network.

Let's meme this into reality. Russo-Japanese-American Alliance when? We could isolate ourselves from the rest of the world and still thrive.

Look at the island that are near taiwan.

I agree about them better off being governed by Whites, and the Kuril islands would probably be better under Japan than the Russkies.

But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna call you out for being a fucking hypocrit.

Kamchatka is barely Russia, its barely even a thing, may as well be the Mariana Trench.

It could be a thing, the railway network and infrastructure there would be upgraded if such a connection was made. The largest distance between the chain of Islands is no more than 30 miles, with most being around 20 miles or less. A causeway between the islands could easily be built.

Technically you can already do the Trans Siberian to Japan. There is a ferry from Vladivostok to Kyoto.

i'm in favor of this

How fucking stupid are you? Russia took that land because the US made Japan a puppet and was directly ruling over them, so Russia decided to do the same.

poor foreign affairs policies between Japan and Russia, that's all

the place is a nightmare to build even something simple, good luck with a bunch of long ass bridges on this tectonic rodeo

>Mexican education

The planet itself is against US-Rus-Jap alliance.

>slant eyed Russians
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
*breathes in*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Holy fuck that was some spiteful interference on our part.

The Trans-Pacific Federation

But given the pressure of environmentalists+globalists+the cost of moving stuff by train in the freezing cold+the lack of workers (US, Japan & Russia are all ageing) will probably bury it.

Let's not forget that Japan hates Russia and Russia hates Japan and the USA hates Russia.

And earthquakes too

>Japan hates Russia and Russia hates Japan
We do?

>implying that a Russian shitposter's opinion matters to Vlad Putin

You may not but he certainly does

>literally win/win for both sides
>USA has autistic fit and fucking ruins everything for absolutely no reason at all
Fucking murilards

More or less, advanced bridges (especially recent ones built in Japan) can survive (or mostly survive and then easily be repaired vs a conventional bridge) theoretically even an earthquake in the high 8s on land, so earthquakes are not as much of a problem as one would expect. Ocean foundation is much less likely to shift as well.
