Idk, something about Dan Akroyd.
Even I don't care about Canada. What's your major malfunction?

Like everything we do, we have no vision for greatness. So our politicians cancelled the project and bought american planes instead.

It was probably this fucker.

Actually it was Diefenbaker

us didn't like us having the upper hand in the air. they were afraid to the point they threatened us with violence

We need a Judenbaker.

he was the last PM and that's when our country died. he got threatened.
then the yanks put in pearson anyways and he opened the floodgates to immigration and gave us the "health care" system

They finally did something right made a incredible jet but their retarded PM cancelled the project over some farms or something.

The us planned an invasion of Canada over the cf105

US wanted us to focus military spending on helping you with placing nukes or some bullshit like that. That's what our history teacher told us anyway.

That looks fucking cool leaves. What the fuck is wrong with you?

Shit tier plane. Not maneuverable think sr-71 turning radius. Thank God it was cancelled by based defeinbaker

Here's a decent documentary

But I can save you the hour watch, it was a combination of kikes and US and British aerospace companies that convinced their respective governments that they shouldn't be buying foreign (Canadian) defense tech. The arms business in the UK and US was very nationalistic back then and buying designs from other countries was virtually unheard of. Without a foreign market the project suddenly became a monstrous cash sink for the Cancuck government with no vision past the next election cycle, so they canned the arrow and licenced the design for the Starfighter from Lockheed. 200 CF-104 Starfighters were built by Canair, it killed so many german pilots it was nicknamed the widow-maker

Old news. It was a turboprop bi-plane.

>I cry every time

we bought the bomarc nuclear sams instead, and deployed them at North Bay and La Macaza, we still should have gone with the Arrow though

It was a high altitude interceptor, not a fucking dog fighter. It was intentionally designed with only speed in mind. The plan was to catch a squadron of ruskie bombers as far north as possible then hit them with a nuclear air to air missile, turn radius is a low priority in this scenario. And speaking of the SR-71, the arrow would probably have made a good spy plane for the era, it's long range and ability to hit 60000 ft at >mach 2 means no SAMs at the time could have touched it.

Just look at their airforce today. Some third world countries are better.

A piece of shit. The contemporary F-4 Phantom II did everything the Arrow could do and better. Even the earlier F-106 Delta Dart shits on the Arrow.

Out of the blue, the leafs actually built a fighter-plane that was better than (((ours)))

The fucking jews went ballistic, and either threatened or bribed the cuck leaf king to betray his own nation and scrap his superiour aircraft, so we (((chosen people))) could reap all the profits of international military aviation sales.

This move also killed Canada's aviation industry completely, something they did not hesitate to do so show how cucked they were.

>Some third world countries are better
Canada flies pretty much all the same aircraft as Australia (except no super-hornets). We both have the standard US cookie-cutter NATO rollout, right down to the C17 transports

Looks kinda like GR4 Tornado but with a Delta wing.

Those are some big drop tanks..

America didn't want us to have any independent arms capability so nipped our military aviaton wing in the bud and then hired the engineers at its own firms.

We're America's hat. We leaf out because its the smallest act of rebellion we are allowed. Hell we just got raped over lumber with a stroke of Trump's pen and it cost us $635 million

Expect our hornets are out bombing ISIS while your's are stuck in ungodly maintenance periods.
>Canada flies pretty much all the same aircraft as Australia
F35
growler
P-8
C-27
E-7's
KC-30

Pretty different

Sputnik happened. Most of Avro's engineers went to NASA afterwards.

4 Jew

Canadian military procurement makes yours look good. Think about it for a second

I read an article that the Canadian senate was considering cutting the super hornet purchase. Your government is literally destroying the armed forces.

If our country wasnt so fucking cucked we would also have F35s.

>Fuck F35! Let's buy outdated Super Hornets even tho Boeing are already planning a new version of the Hornet :)))) Also weed lol

>yfw modern leftism is basically one step below A World With No Boundaries

>the leafs actually built a fighter-plane that was better than (((ours)))
Better than what? It's thoroughly mediocre when you compare it to its competition like the F-4, F-106, XF8U-3, or France's Mirage III.

Look up our Victoria class subs if you want to edge close to a stroke. We literally can't fire tropedos from them and operate air breathing subs under a fucking ice cap while the Russians literally troll us with sonar pings

Dude fuck fighter jets and buy more weed dude :D:D:D

It was a good first step for a combat plane. China didn't start pumping out Ford class carriers overnight, they're starting with more conservative platforms to get the kinks worked out

Yeah I've read into those subs. Utter cancer. Wasn't the government planning to purchase nuclear subs at one point?

Yes but liberals and nuclear go together like Zimbabwe and areospace engineering

>Wasn't the government planning to purchase nuclear subs at one point?
A long time ago, then the enviro+anti war hippies flipped their shit. The same reason we gave all our nukes back to the US in the 80's, pansy anti-nuke faggots.

>Can you see the borders from here? What have borders given us?

If that's true, we would not have had to threaten/coerce them to kill the project.

We would have just laughed at their mediocre attempt. Instead we went full goy and really harmed our supposed friend (by forcing/coercing them to kill the project, and their aviation independence military wise_)

>Yo buddy, still alive? And thanks friend...see you again.

Those hippies always ruin everything. Good thing we don't have too many down here.

HD REMAKE WHEEEEENNNNNNNNN????!

>here comes the snow

>Canada decides to build the best jet interceptor in the world
>Avro does it
>America invents the ICBM and goes "REEEEEEEE JETS ARE USELESS NOW STOP MAKING THE ARROW OR YOU'RE OUT OF NORAD"
>Diefenbaker does it

It is true. America cancelled the similar XF-108 Rapier which was also a high-altitude interceptor because the thinking behind it was outdated. The F-4 was faster and carried a bigger payload and better radar. The plane that lost to it, the XF8U-3, went at a blistering mach 2.38 and would've made a superior interceptor to the Arrow which couldn't even hit mach 2. The Arrow is garbage.

youtube.com/watch?v=80XAJKqRU9k

America told us to cancel it, citing that it wasn't worth the money. Our prime minister believed them and then the Avro people went to America and helped get you to the moon alongside the nazis.

Someday, Buddy. Someday.

>yfw V2 reentry in one minute

>You bought our mediocre missiles and then you bought our planes.
It still wasn't very good on it's own though.

F-106 did its job better and Interceptors were on their way out.

>those who live for a long time on the battlefield start to think they're invincible... I bet you do too buddy

>dammit confirm launch of V2
>Too bad, buddy
>This twisted game needs to be reset

Bad-Ass Aircraft. One of my favorites. Designed by the Legendary Kelly Johnson. It held many altitude records. In 1963, USAF Maj. Robert Smith took a F-104 up to 120,800 feet. That huge GE engine got him there in record time, too.

>1 post by this ID

>Bad-Ass Aircraft. One of my favorites
Yeah it really was. Back before 9/11 when we used to have kick ass air shows, they always had one at the CFB Trenton show (Canada's largest base and transport hub). Probably never see one IRL again

...

Our F35 jets are pretty much operational atm if you guys wanna purchase a few.

>this passenger jet is pretty much operational if you wanna take a ride

>pic
What is that? Some kind of ancient snownigger intergalactic tech from beyond pluto?

youtube.com/watch?v=mrEQOj4ep8U

It says here on your id that you're a ZUGE guy

One of if not the best planes of its time, America was scared the Soviets might get their hands on it and forced Canada to scrap it causing the Avro (company that made them) to go bankrupt.
