Why is Sup Forums so right wing but all the smart boards like /Sci/ and /lit/ filled with left wing intellectuals?

Why is Sup Forums so right wing but all the smart boards like /Sci/ and /lit/ filled with left wing intellectuals?
Is the right full of dumbasses?

No, but the retards always shout the loudest despite what group you belong to.

>Left
>Intellectuall

Fuck off!

>Is the right full of dumbasses?
Yes but so is the world

>Is the right full of dumbasses?

Yes

you'll need to drop your preconceived ideas if you want to see reality as it is.

>triggered dumbass detected
please poo only in your designated streeet. 5 credits deducted from your account.

neither of those boards are particularly leftist.

Shill and Sage.

This person is tryig to confuse by saying left wing are intelligent and right wig are dumb.....when in fact its left wing who are dumb.

Fact. Right Wing are highly intelligent & alpha male. Declare Holy War!!!!.

Bye. Shill cum breath.

Kek. 卐卐卐卐

Both wings are for ideologically oriented retards looking to identify with some group. Anyone with half a brain will want to disasociate from the crowd and seek self-actualization through authentic individual effort.

Why is Singapoor relevant again.

Shoo away libtard faggy cunt.

both of those boards are filled with genuine retards and autistic faggots.

it may be because here you can get a bunch of dudes say whatever they want without having any polictical education at all, /Sci/ and /Lit/ seem to have arts and language students who lean to the left. if someone goes there and say Dickens is a cuck they would get massacred

>left wing

Maybe by comparison, but that's not saying much.

Look close, they are not leftists

>intelligent
No one on Sup Forums is intelligent.

Except me, of course.

Those boards arent left wing, leftists just feel the need to insert their politics everywhere.

>still thinking in right vs left
>1 post by this ID

Newfags will not sage this

I got banned from all those places with the reason "stay in your containment board Sup Forums ".

I too got banned from /mlp few days back.

Nah I am not
I took a trip to /lit/ and everyone was a fucking commie, even though they are a board known for their intelligence
Same with /sci/

More educated people are usually more left wing

yup, im going back to /fit/ and /sci/ for more intellectual conversations with fellow lefties.

Triggered rightwing dumbasses belong on Poolane, Rmb, your timeslot is 10.47am-10.51am. Please only move your bowels during then.

sad.

Run fast and farther.

I'm sure you made a lot of honest accountable surveys on a buthanese stonecarving forum to back up that claim

yeah, apparently they are banning all nazi stuff on /sci/ . Yet keep all the homework garbage posts. Someone needs to make a Sup Forums approved /Sci/ board on double chan.

>Is the right full of dumbasses?
Yes, but you're giving /sci/ and /lit/ too much credit. In reality, they're incapable of both understanding the economic system and having the originality to capitalize on it.

Do you understand the concept of the pseudo-intellectual?

Both conventional "right" and "left" ideologies hold a portion of the truth to lure people in, then surround it with dogmatic bullshit invented to sow unending conflict. Both sides can hold onto their own forms of self-righteousness while empowering them to completely ignore any truth coming from a "wrong" source. They do this so that true dialogue will never be able to occur, and open dialogue is the only thing that can ever bring about real change.

Because they haven't read Curt Doolittle.

and yet the left lost to these "dumbasses"
gg no re

/lit/ is extremely reactionary, maybe even more so than this board.

...

Intellectuals =\= smart

This.
Philosopher=/=Sophist

Yes. That's why Trump's base is overwhelmingly full of jizz skin rural bumpkins looking for gibmedats instead of adapting to modern life like everyone else on the planet. Let's not even get started on the man children and attention whores known as the "alt-right".

/thread

Sure, the winner is the retard.

>smart
There any documented proof of this, or is it all self proclaimed pseudo intellectuals? Sauce

Intellectuals say nothing of substance

Well isn't a board about science bound to be filled with people who are smart?

This. I can only think of /his/, which is chokefull of leftists circlejerking on anything they'd be mocked about here.

/his/ looks like a blue pilled Sup Forums sometimes. I feel bad for the people posting there, to be frank.

That's what happens when facts are not on your side. You get an user who makes a thread with something along the lines of. "Why is skin color so important to whites and right wingers?' The thread will get 300+ posts of "lol fuck niggerz!!!1" It's hilarious.

Sci and LIT dont like to talk politics, so how would you know.

People mention them

Sup Forums is easily the smartest board

no homo

Who are those left wing intellectuals? You mean the people that refuse to follow the scientific method in favour of petty identity politics? Most of the people pretending to be "left-leaning intellectuals" these days are dishonest sacks of shit. When it comes to humanities, the only person that managed to genuinely impress me over the past 10 years was Peterson - and even he didn't really say anything new, he's simply providing the masses with a rather coherent synthesis of ideas that weren't usually discussed all at once.

Most left-leaning intellectuals are simply parotting French marxists from the sixties, who were actually funded by the Soviets. There's literally nothing cool and intellectual about them, they're just charlatans and the quality of western universities has been in free fall once they gained the upper hand.

Back in my university years, when I didn't know a lot about the situation in the west, my university was visited by some faggots from the States who were supposed to give us a lecture on American literature or something like that. Instead of doing their fucking job, they kept bashing Bush for 90 minutes straight. That's not education, that's indoctrination - and I don't really give a single fuck about that. If the people you're referring to are like that, you probably shouldn't give a single fuck about them either.

I think a lot of "intellectuals" spend their formative years in an (((chamber))) ....see what I did there.

They're real good at their specific scientific field, but lack real world experience outside of academia.

you get banned on /lit/ and /sci/ if you dissent.

>muh containment board

literally 2 redditfags being obnoxious

>smart boards
>like /Sci/ and /lit/
O im laffin

Right wingers are, as a rule, bigger, stronger and more dominant.
Pic related
I can't help but take this bait...

/sci/ is full of brainlets pretending they aren't

I barely know any people I hold in high regard (intellectually) that are leftists.

In the past (at least in the netherlands) the left wanted to enlighten workers. However, the enlightened workers became right wing, so now they moved the goalposts to ensure agreeing with leftist equal intellectuality.

/sci is pretty right wing
also
>/lit and /sci
>smart

The parts of the academia that are engaging in politics and supporting the left haven't really ever been about science though. The results of their so-called studies can't be replicated, their papers don't provoke any discussion and are simply shelved after they get the money from government grants and so on. It's a massive shit-show.

Watching an actual scholar like John Lott wreck those shills would be pretty funny if only the fact that they're allowed to pretend to be experts without ever actually engaging in science wasn't so fucking sad.

people in science live in their little laboratories and never see the outside world

/sci/ isn't that left-wing, but /lit/ is just a marxist circle jerk.

No, but institutions of higher education tend to be of a left-wing bent that influences those who graduate from them.

To add, anyone calling himself a scientist without reading Feyerabend should be excommunicated.

There are no leftists in the Netherlands. Common, in the last election you had to choose between Geert Wilders and Mark Rutte.

People on /sci/ and /lit/ have usually completed state sponsored re-education programs that trade wrongthink for access to information they already had access to.

Guess how I can tell you're from reddit?

>/Sci/ and /lit/

What makes them smart, been here for more than 9 years and nobody did me an IQ test.

The only reason that was the case was that the labour party (traditionally the largest left wing party) was decimated in polls. The media here are largely leftist, as well as the entertainment sector, much like the US suffers from. Sometimes I feel the left here gets their tactics directly from the DNC.

Also note I was talking from historical perspective.

What is this pic? Where are the groups of blacks or SJWs shipped in to protest?

>the right is all one person
>so is the left
Daft cunts.

Perhaps those boards aren't so smart after all. I do say, old chap. Have you considered suicide?

>smart boards like /Sci/ and /lit/

As theoretical physicist I can tell you that it depends largely on field. But other than the last "real" subjects, universities have become breeding hives for intellectually inferior leftists.
Contrary to your strawman, this doesn't make them intelligent. Quite the contrary. Smart people are the guys critically thinking through all the ideologies. Not regurgitating the shit the beloved faggoty post-operation transgender """(((prof)))"""" tells you.
BECAUSE actually smart people don't push agendas but rather reasonable arguments - if they even do anyway. Because when you're at university and actually smart, you care for your research and the education of students and nothing else.

Because remember, universities are supposed to be politics-free places of education, not hives for massive retardation. But I guess that's just the dream of an old man.

yep. cant show my powerlevel on /lit/ or /sci/ so everyone keeps it low.

Isn't a board dedicated to science supposed to be filled with smart people?

It's filled with dumb people pretending to be smart people.

>tfw someone doesnt accept your made up gender
>dumbass bigots

Science is the religion of leftists. Not saying science is inherently leftist or that right wingers don't appreciate science either but shitlibs are like "I fucking LOVE science , hail Neil degrasee Tyson, look how enlightened I am xD"

I'm a scientist. Race doesn't exist. The Holocaust is real. Sex doesn't exist.

>posts cute gif thinking hes gonna meme
>doesnt realize Pepe is still x100 stronger because he is in Beerus' spot

My sex junk is so oh oh oh, much more than either or or or

...

No, the dumbasses are the left-wing welfare niggers and the right-wing inbred Bible thumpers. The type of left-winger on those boards is just ignorant/delusional.

Scientific communities trend toward leftism because pop-sci has long been arbitrarily an unscientifically linked to moral relativism and nihilism, a sentiment that has since bled into the scientific fields themselves as upcoming pop-sci-influenced generations have entered them

>still trying way too hard

I'm in the physical sciences and yeah a lot of academics live in ivory towers and don't understand conservative politics. There are some there, but the culture is generally liberal. Just not always vapidly leftist, though sometimes it can be with the younger scientists.

lol yes they are Sup Forums cuck

btfo

>smart
>/lit/

To make that clear:

Leftists are in 99% of cases self-proclaimed intellectuals - just like Varg or Molyneux, which are of course no leftists per say.
Absolute trash overacting beyond the point of no return - beyond their own capabilities.

>implying I don't know pepe wins in the canon
Why do you think of me as a fool user?

only a little more than half of Sup Forums is right wing. Liberals here just don't do the whole circle jerk stuff the conservatives love to do.

It's a pretty typical thing, the more education a person has the more likely it is that they are liberals. This has to do with the fact that the right wing absolutely loathes education and tries to demonize intellectualism at every opportunity, than some "objective truth" that liberals are just smarter.

Fact is you can be dumb as shit and get a college degree. It's not easy but it happens. Conservatives just treat the intellectuals as a punching bag, then act surprised when intellectuals don't like conservatism.

I'm a scientist within the natural sciences. I'd hazard a guess that 50% of my colleagues are left-leaning, the rest are predominantely centrist, and max. 10% right-wing. I do cringe very hard whenever we happen to have political discussions, especially about trump.

No, leftwing intellectuals are pretentious twats who rationalise their weakness and ineptitude by claiming its unfair that the government can't steal the money of rich people and give it to them for simply existing. It's worth remembering that these "intelligent" people think that diversity is a strength, socialism works, and white people are oppressing shitskins

That's cause they're circlejerk on Reddit and Facebook

*Circlejerking

/sci/ and /lit/ go out of their basements.

Sup Forums doesn't

As a general rule of thumb, the more actual labor you've had to put into creating or maintaining society, the more likely you are to be conservative or "right wing".

Intellectualism is to be opposed, but that doesn't make us dumb. Intellectualism is a bunch of wankery, the right believes in ACTION.
This is why it took Mussolini less than 4 years to become PM of Italy, while the Communists succeeded in only a few countries, and often after a very long time.

I got banned from /sci/ for asking about the IQ differences between races, I didn't even get an answer before I got a 3-day with the message "keep Sup Forums to Sup Forums". I am more than willing to acknowledge my ignorance and bigotry but nobody bothers to debate, ever.

>left wing intellectuals

If one examines socialist realism, one is faced with a choice: either reject
subdialectic capitalist theory or conclude that class has significance. In a
sense, Lyotard suggests the use of capitalist discourse to deconstruct class
divisions. Several narratives concerning not, in fact, materialism, but
neomaterialism exist.

Therefore, Marx promotes the use of Lyotardist narrative to attack and read
narrativity. The subject is contextualised into a capitalist discourse that
includes art as a reality.

But if Lyotardist narrative holds, we have to choose between capitalist
discourse and postsemanticist capitalism. Sartre suggests the use of Lyotardist
narrative to challenge capitalism.

However, Marx uses the term ‘socialist realism’ to denote a mythopoetical
totality. Any number of theories concerning Lyotardist narrative may be found.

I've always said:

People who aren't into politics and don't know much about it (young people/millennials, soccer moms etc) are usually liberal.

If you take that into consideration, it makes sense that the non-political boards on Sup Forums are liberal and the only board exclusively about politics is.. gasp.. conservative
