So this is the map for the upcoming Gulf War that will probably decide which muslim faith - shiites or sunnis - will rule dominant in the future of the middle east. After gathering all info in the last thread and focussing only on powers that will be directly involved (leaving out neutral countries or the ones trying to stay neutral) the map looks like this.
RED: Shia Coalition (backed by Russia) BLUE: Saudi Alliance (backed by USA, Israel) GREEN: Muslim Brotherhood Coalition (likely to side with BLUE if needed) PURPLE: so fucked up they can't act right now / have to react to what happens
Blue is backed by the US. Red is backed by Russia.
Yemen's official government is still a Saudi puppet state, despite all the fighting. And yes the situation for Turkey is very complicated, but if shit REALLY hits the fan they will have to decide between Nato and Russia. I just can't believe they would actually throw Nato under the bus and join the Assad /Iran / Russia coalition.
Complicated shit.
Hudson Perry
Iran goes hard, that's why.
Connor Morgan
Oh. Well than Turkey is pretty much sure to join Russian / Iran / Russia alliance or fight on their own? Weird shit.
Bump I can't believe all the shit happening today! Elections! Witch Hunts! WW3! what a time to be alive
Jacob Lopez
For now it's gulf war. But if Turkey really allies with Iran.. well then everybody's pretty fucked.
Julian Lee
what what? new war is starting? what is the pretext? what is the spark?
Charles Garcia
witch hunts? what are you talking about? leave pol for 3 days and you get you always fall behind major events sigh...
Nathan Collins
Turkey is sending troops to Qatar to prevent Saudi Arabia from getting rid of the emir.
Bentley Jenkins
It's a combination of what is happening in Syria and Qatar (IMO) Some people think they are separate situations but not to me. The scale of how big it will get is debatable now but all signs point towards major escalation.
A few days ago KSA cut ties with Qatar, other Arab Gulf states did as well. Then there was an attack on the parliament building in Iran. Words and insults are flying around from world leader to world leader.
Dominic Perez
>implying Turkey wouldn't just watch them fight and swoop in to claim the pieces >putting the Turkish gov't in the same sentence as MB in the context of a regional war >implying Israel is going to let Egypt get anywhere near the fight >implying Iran and Iraq are close enough politically (yet) to coordinate a war effort >implying that Russia is close enough to Iraq for the latter to push the former into a regional war >implying any of the US-backed countries will start a war without direct provocation >implying Russia wants to start another Middle Eastern proxy war before Syria is resolved
Easton Scott
*messed up latter and former
Cameron Sanchez
attack on Iran was made by whom?
>words and insults are flying around from world leader to world leader. by world leaders you mean Trump, Putin, Xi Jinping, Benjamin Netanyahu? Or which leaders you have in mind?
Cameron Peterson
>Turkey >allying with the Sauds
really takes my noggin for a joggin
Jeremiah Murphy
the map is off, fuck the map just look for news about Qatar and share it
If this really does kick off it might be the most exciting happening since the Gambia Crisis. I still have pic related for the memories even though the image will likely never be useful again
Anthony Sanders
shouldn't the demands have been answered by now? also you should just go to /sg/ for this
Hunter Martin
Here's another map
aa little bit more complicated, but much more precise
Eli Bailey
Yemen and Iraq should be disputed as well desu.
Landon Barnes
>this >good propaganda Kurds actual battle videos are much more impressive.
Brayden Reed
Iraq is against Qatar and hate them so much, and they liked the sanctions
Official elected governement tin Yemen approved KSA, Houthis are shia militias that's why I made the color red but forgot to add the star, they are in with Iran
Jaxon Murphy
There's still ISIS in Iraq fighting against the government though.
Carter Roberts
Syria is not approving saudi arabia
Josiah Sullivan
O man! kuWAIT really likes to chill.
Mason Ortiz
Id take shia shits over sunni shit
but hopefully they make this a small nuclear war and kill themselves
Ayden Ward
Turkey was buying cheap oil from ISIS thus financing them, and Qatar has been accused of supporting them.
so now just for the hate of Turkey, Iraq and Syria are approving these sanctions Syria isn't in KSA side, but they approved the sanctions
yeah, Kuwait is trying so hard now to chill things, while Oman never waved its dick in Middle east shit, sometimes most of people forget they exist
Colton Bell
Oman might be the smartest country out there.
Levi Lewis
Cause once Persia decides to fuck things up Kuwait is pretty much dead. Kek and Oman, well they're like the wallflower of ME.
Chase Foster
this map is so wrong and autistic that i want to kill myself
Ryan Scott
Another nothing burger. Is there anything you retards won't believe? LE SKYKING LMAO
Anthony James
Germany attempting to meme a war into existence to avoid having a good hard look at itself is an irony indeed.
Jack Ortiz
>RED: Shia Coalition (backed by Russia) >BLUE: Saudi Alliance (backed by USA, Israel) >GREEN: Muslim Brotherhood Coalition (likely to side with BLUE if needed) Talk about having absolutely no grasp and understanding of the Middle-East. At least I now can tell that you're an ethnic German and not some Muslim immigrant though.
Brandon Adams
QATAR WONT BOW TO SAUDIS
THEY RE PISSED AND QATAR STRENGTHENED BY IRAN AND TURKEY

Jonathan Flores
BAHRAIN IS GIVING US A HINT AT WHAT HAPPENS BEHIND THE STAGE
SAUDIS NEED TO HAVE THE EMIR REMOVED
TURKS AND IRANIANS NEED TO HAVE HIM IN PLACE
THE RED BUTTON IS IN SAUDI HANDS NOW
THE EMIR OF QATAR MIGHT BE PARANOID,
THE HOUSE OF SAUD IS EVEN MORE SO.....
Nathaniel Wright
>the houtis will side with the saudis
kys OP
Christopher Phillips
Guys this won't just be a gulf war. It will also spark plenty of civil wars inside the countries who fight. Countries like Iraq, Iran, and a few others have a Sunni and Shia population and if a fight starts between the two their will be clashes in between the two groups in countries who fight in the gulf war.
i love how there are alwqys arrogant fucks accusing others of having no clue but refusing to elaborate their view
just fuck off and scream at your little sister or elaborate.
Ian Martinez
QATAR IS IN DISARRAY ASWELL
EMIR IS FEARING A COUP OR TRAITORS
Dominic Cox
>Turkey siding with Qatar KEK Nice meme, Erdogan is basically Al-Saud dog
Jose Ramirez

Isaiah Cook

Xavier White

Colton Carter
i'm sure the sunni shia conflict has something to do with this, but this recent chain of events appears to be more along the lines of the muslim brotherhood vs some other polarity(ies) in the muslim world. the coup in egypt a few years ago in egypt was lead by the muslim brotherhood, and eventually the army had to stage a counter coup to remove the MB president, morsi. i wonder if saudi arabia fears a similar coup happening to them and decided to act, or was it prodding from trump during his recent visit. i'm not a big fan of the saudis who were probably partly responsible for 9/11 and who fund wahabi extremism, but the muslim brotherhood is possibly even worse. very interesting times, ahead.
Christopher Sanchez
>doesn't look through Al-Saud 5D chess play
Evan Carter
NATO wouldn't get involved.
Charles Ward
Nope he deploys 5000 soldiers there and if you take a loo at flightradar24 you WILL be able to see Turkish Cargo and Qatar Cargo Planes flying from Istanbul to Qatar and back.....
TURKS MEAN SERIOUS BUSINESS PROTESTS IN SOLIDARITY WITH QATAR LAST NIGHT AND PROBABLY TONIGHT ASWELL
Tactical mistake by sauds to embargo Qatar in ramadan...... QATAR is LITERALLY Erdogans Bank and best friend in terms of the Muslim Brotherhood and Middle East Ambitions.
Turkeys WHOLE banking sector is qatari.....
Thomas Mitchell
Shit is literally all over Turkish Twitter, especially Erdogans Neo-ottoman Fans are in it to win it.....
Not to forget Qatar was the FIRST one to critisize the coup attempt in July 2016 and the first to send aid and forces to protect ERDOGAN
Jack Price
what countries are in bed with the MB besides qatar and turkey? what does the german government think of the MB?
Juan Rodriguez
Hopefully Israel gets wiped out and we swiftly take control of Libya
Leo Wright
Well every other gulf nation has pulled out since a week or so, that means that only turkey and qatar are left..... Egypts Sisi even couped Mursi and his MB out the country.....
Iran normally doesnt like Turks or Qataris, but in these circumstances shitting all over their biggest enemy saudi-arabia is their number 1 priority.
Besides a Iranian-Turkish-Qatari Alliance might solve the Syrian Crisis and qataris and iranians would cooperate in digging up those massive gas resources at their coasts.
Chase Cruz
So which ones are /ourguys/?
jews are always on the winning side so im gonna have to root for blue
Connor Lewis
iran is the moral choice
Asher Long
German officials reluctantly took Qatar's side, calling for deescalation. MB isn't really a problem in Europe, it's mostly Saudi funded wahhabi/salafi mosques and madrassas and Turkish DITIB/Diyanet which is close to MB but not exactly the same, more like one of Erdoggo's personal subversive tools. The brits withheld a report on Saudi funding of Islamists and potential JIhadists in GB because of this crisis because they probably don't want to demonize the burgers' second bestest ally right now.
Leo Gomez
Is there any precedent for military action yet?
Samuel Sullivan
So, rebels in Syria are funded by KSA and Qatar, supported by Turkey, opposed by Iran and their proxies, Qatar ends up paying both Sunni and Shia militants and gets Isolated but at the same time Turkey supports them alongside Iran even though they're fighting in Syria, now there is some sort of Moscow-Teheran-Ankara alliance even though Turkey is in NATO oh and the MB is somehow active in Turkey even though most of them were executed in Egypt can someone tell me what the fuck is actually happening?
Liam Hughes
A major war between Sunni and Shia Muslims is the best thing that can happen to the western world. Muslims will be busy killing eachother, and hopefully by the end of the conflict, both sides will emerge badly damaged.
If a major Muslim war does happen, the West BETTER not get involved trying to stop them. Let them do what they do best - killing other Muslims. They are doing what the West is too afraid to do.
Owen Ross
Sadly, there will most likely be no Gulf War.
Carson Lee
it's shit like this that led to ww1.
Adrian Collins
Voting for Team Red, God willing you guys will pull through! Also why is Lebanon purple if you include Hezbollah? They could always help of really needed. Great special force eh?
> t Leb Christian
Easton Bailey
from what you said it sounds like erdogan was trying to steer the MB into becoming subservient to turkey. i definitely feel for all you europoors right now. if you side with turkey and qatar, then the u.s. will greenlight the saudis to activate their wahabi sleeper cells and cause mass violence. it would, however, give the EU the opportunity raise an EU army very quickly and solidify control. if you side with the saudis then you continue to be the US's cucks.
i think a turkish-iranian-qatari alliance would be bad for the US government because of how cucked our leaders are to israel and the saudi petro dollar suicide pact. that puts our government squarely on the saudi's side.
i hate being in a lose lose situation but it certainly feels that's what's happened here.
Adrian Davis
Careful, when the bible mentions Israel it doesn't always mean the geographical location of the modern day. It could mean from Egypt up to Turkey
James Baker
welcome to the middle east
Christopher Smith
This.
For example, Iran is fighting Qatar proxies with their proxies in Syria. But since SA is the big threat, they are backing up Qatar since they don't want SA to get more powerful.
>YFW this crisis results in a assad victory as Qatar proxies go vs. Saudi proxies and then agree to leave Syria afterwards.
Ryder Ross
