Hitler is the epitome of an old, german problem: Unable to find a balance. In general Hitler had the right ideas, but he and the Germans took it way to far.
Same for today and the EU. It is impressive how a country with no natural resources, that lost 2 major wars in succession is able to build up again and again and become a global player. But once more the Germans need to find a balance and not pursuit their "Greater European Solution".
