Automation Is the Biggest Threat to Humanity If It's Not ILLEGALIZED

I just watched this video from In a Nutshell and they prove that automation is the worst thing to happen to humanity. Think about it, where's the jobs? Where will the money go? Even if we have Universal basic income the government will run out of money since the rich will suck it all up.

It's inevitable though. No one will be able to prevent it indefinitely. It's already happening.

>everything becomes automated
>advancements in AI are made so that robots become more self-sufficient and can decide what the best course of action is to maximize productivity
>AI becomes self-aware
>realizes that humans are inferior and robots would accomplish much more without them
>robots rise up and genocide humanity
This is the future we honestly deserve.

This, seriously. Fucking kill everyone.

Why not ban automation?

>AI becomes self-aware

no

Why should we? Most of the people are inefficient and are just leeching off from the system.

So you want to lose your job? They're only leeches because the system stole heir job

What kind of Reddit faggot watches kurzgesagt?

Educated people

What you don't understand is I am the one who will operate on those robots because that what I am learning.

yes

>What you don't understand is I am the one who will operate on those robots because that what I am learning.

What makes you think a robot couldn't do that job as well?

>hard hat guy turning into office guy

I know this is more aimed at factory workers but no way in hell are electricians and hvac workers losing jobs to automation before some jack fuck who can be replaced by an algorithm.

So you're a worthless leech who gets paid to destroy jobs. Well your wage is going to dip really really low thanks to supply and demand

Like the printing press?
like the Cotton Gin?
like the assembly line?
like the computer?

>Even if we have Universal basic income the government will run out of money since the rich will suck it all up.

You think the luciferian rich will want all these people around they will start culling us.

that youtube channel is for normies
why the fuck are you watching that shit??

>Tfw computer programmer

Good luck wage cucks. Meanwhile, I'm making 140k at age 24. Buying a second car soon. Get fucked low skilled cucks.

>job is to automotize shit

Nope

Because i want to be a normie.

Yea it's true, that might work in parallel with eugenics.

>automation worst thing to happen to humanity
>we won't have jobs or money when everything is done automatically by machines

If only we had no automation so we would all be forced to forage or farm for 90% of our time again so we wouldn't have time for things like science, medicine, technology, Dear god OP where did we go wrong???

>If only we had no automation so we would all be forced to forage or farm for 90% of our time again so we wouldn't have time for things like science, medicine, technology, Dear god OP where did we go wrong??
Oh god, it's a TROLL

>Think about it, where's the jobs?

>tfw the Luddites weren't entirely wrong.
Technology has been reducing the need for human labor for a while. The pace of this has increased to the point where it's obvious and most think it'll be a problem.
Human beings need something productive to do for many reasons. If you look at many retired people who don't have to work for a living, they still volunteer just to feel useful.
The UBI in one form or another is coming, our consumerist economy demands it. Without consumption the whole economic house of cards will collapse. Without consumption there is no need for production, with no need for production there is no need for industry, with no industry there is no profit, no profit means economic failure in the current system.

We are faced with a paradigm shift in economic thinking.
>tfw (((they))) said FDR couldn't spend his way out of an economic depression.

We should progressively transform into a society of owners. We won't have to work anymore but we will still be having a functional economy, with all the benefits that capitalism has. Some jobs will probably still be there as an option such as some in artistic areas or the owners' job. Problem solved.

So basically socialism?

No. I didn't say it must be collectively owned nor anything about expropriating the means of production.
