How do you decide whether to do 4 sets or 3 sets per exercise? I am doing 3x8s for OHP and chin ups but feel like I haven't made progress in a long time despite eating lots of protein/food and lifting 3 times a week.

I'm trying to improve myself after years of unhealthy living and not giving a fuck. I quit booze , weed, started jogging 30 min then doing about 45 min of weights, trying to hit every body part. Also eating better drinking more water and reading. I feel better but I still struggle to get good rested sleep. I wake up feeling exhausted and shitty every day, also wake up 2 times per night usually every 4-3 hours. On the rare night I don't wake up I actually feel really good or a lot better anyway, but that's happened only 3 nights this whole year. I've tried melatonin which sort of helps but barely. Does anyone have any tips for getting good sleep? I've mostly tried all the standard basic shit you will find on the internet like don't look at electronics an hour before , go at the same time etc none of that shot helps. It feels like my bodies muscles are too tense to feel relaxed and comfortable. Lots of stretching throughout the day and before bed seem to help more then anything . Anyone overcome sleep issues?

Thats normal sleep actually/ Your body is designed to sleep around 3-4 hours in a row. You caan get up,surf the net, listen to some music, meditate for 1-2 hours and then tackle another 3-4 stretch of sleep. Its the overall quantty that matters, not that its broken in segments. Deep REM is important. Try Phenibut. Its amazing, just dont increase your dosage / tolerate up to it.

What I like to do is do pushups until I can't do anymore when I feel the urges. Convert the bad energy to good energy.
