That's bullshit. The reason video games had a gamergate is because it's a closely knit community, at least from the perspective of developers. Creating a game takes a lot more money and people than putting out an album. Being black listed in the vidya development scene is a lot closer to being blacklisted from developing vidya - period than being blacklisted in a music scene blah blah blacklisted from music as a whole.
