Socialism in Venezuela

I want to know why the whole world is ignoring the current situation in Venezuela.
Seriously, it's a completely failed socialist state and the government is literally committing genocide against the population.

Some of us are not, however i do believe the the media is not covering it due to the failed state itself. They dont want to show anything that might hint at the idea of socialism failing. And failing with such a massive amount of resources.
They decided to give children toys, and failed to give them food. I hope they over throw that place so we can welcome them into some freedom.

just because they say they're socialist, does not mean they are. the leftist leaders that were elected in were still controlled by the rich. price controls and freebies for the poor sounds like socialism, but how they were implemented were not, and ultimately were used to buy the popular vote. this decimated local farming and manufacturing, so more and more goods were imported. things were great until oil prices dropped and money stopped coming in to the country.
