True Finns party, which was in the government together with Kokoomus and Keskusta, recently elected a new chairman.
The new chairman is a know anti-immigration hardliner but generally considered to have common sense, however his vice-chairmen are complete nutters.
The former True Finn leadership who lost the chairman election are currently ministers (e.g. foreign minister, defence minister), and reacted very negatively to this. The other parties in government also do not want to include the new chairman and his allies in the leadership of the country.
So the former leaders of the true finns (who are currently in minister positions), left en masse from True Finns and formed their own party.
The current government has no legitimacy, creating uncertainty who runs the country. The president (different from parliament) has used the Finnish military formed a de-facto Junta, bypassing the parliament and is now taking Finland to Nato. The guys sitting there are random NCOs who are just there to press the "yes" button.
Will the Finnish general public sit by and just watch this happen or do you think the Fins will actually do something when the Government won't listen to the people ?
