But even Liberals are favoring this and wanting authoritarian rule
Eli Ward
cultural marxism is why. they think that with a leftist majority and authoritarianism - the get on the right side of history - they can dictate the world into whatever they want. What they don't realize is what happens when you give a Government absolute power like you do with Military rule and authoritarianism.
Easton Cruz
Funny seeing as how the libs pre-Trump were totally different
Dominic Richardson
You can see the gear turning and leading to refuges getting whole countries handed to them.
Sebastian Gutierrez
The Enlightenment was a mistake.
Brayden Martinez
democracy is shit, it just leads to nothing getting done until theres an election and then politicians do or say anything for votes
Lincoln Turner
This 1000%
Elijah Hughes
Democracy gave me cultural enrichment So, nah
Mason Brown
Only idiots believe in democracy.
Andrew Lewis
The fundamental flaw with American democracy is the fact anyone can become a citizen and anyone can vote. Dumbass jiggaboos and la raza cockroaches can vote ? People that are functionally illiterate can vote?
Liam Gomez
You mean like how they told you to just shut up and deal with Obama for 8 years and called you racist for questioning his policies or anything about him, literally coined the phrase "on the right side of history" during that period, expanded the growth of sex identity and gender policies, all while advocating for Islamification of the West?
Bentley Peterson
this as well, retards should not be allowed a vote
Christian Peterson
Maybe they're smarter than they appear.
Christian Reed
The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with an average voter.
Winston Churchill
Cooper Peterson
M-maybe millenials aren't so retarded after all...
Jackson Garcia
Because it was HER TURN. Since the '16 election I've seen people bitch about stuff as stupid as strawpolls because they've "lost faith in democracy". This is what happens when you give kids participation trophies and shelter them. They completely break down the second they lose something and don't get a consolation prize.
Sebastian Torres
It's time for neoreaction to enter the mainstream
Angel Robinson
Even a piece of shit like Churchill was smart enough to realize this
Isaiah Torres
The US is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy, you dumb fuck.
Aiden Thomas
>implying I'm not openly authoritarian
fufufufufu
Jeremiah Miller
Our conceptualization of muh democracy is pretty flawed. First of all pretty much no one is aware of the mob rule aspect of democracy. The democratic element of the republic is to act as a check in the system, nothing more or less. Libs lately are parroting it as a rhetorical point and people then internalize democracy and voting as some hallowed thing, when it's really every bit as capable of tyranny as any other branch of government. It gives people a false sense of their own beneficence and acts as a participation trophy for the goyim for their being complicent in this massive scam. And as you say, we are far too lax in who we allow to vote because they've given us an inflated sense of voting's importance and its "divine right" status
Alexander Thomas
This is good. Democracy has failed us.
We need democracy that limits itself.
Leo Rivera
The thing is, America isn't even a true 'democracy'. It's a democratic-republic. Huge difference. I wouldn't expect those libtards to know the difference though.
Juan Torres
Disagree Obama spent eight years trying to define and control free speech. His was the least tansparent Administration in history and the most reliant on authoritarian rule since FDR. Libs loved it.
This is the fundamental problem with all democracies. Once citizenship becomes easilly attainable, it becomes worthless,
Jose Barnes
user, Democracy isn't perfect. As is being demonstrated now, it is extremely susceptible to propaganda.
No idea what an improvement looks like, though.
Jacob Bennett
Good, we need to be saved from "the people" Democracy was a mistake.
Lucas Cooper
So, will monarchies, communism and fascism come back in style?
Luke Carter
>Democracy. you mean capitalism
Lucas Ortiz
I hate democracy because it is antithetical to libertarianism.
go read some Hoppe and fuck off.
Landon Watson
Democracy was a lie. Do you wanna be hit with the red shovel or the blue shovel?
Jonathan Gutierrez
Democracy is two niggers and one white man in a prison cell deciding who gets to be the bitch tonight.
Leo Hill
The demographic shift is making itself known
Only European-blooded people have democratic values inherent in their blood, mudpeople simply don't have enough intelligence to manage freedom
Also, even for us whites, I think a lot are getting fed up with career politicians and multinational companies
William Wood
Why are the people in this thread crying about liberals wanting authoritarianism? I thought you faggots worshiped Hitler and want a nanny state to stop all degeneracy you disagree with? Make up your damn minds.
Camden Miller
An simple exam between you and the ballot box Curriculum: Local and world history Basic geography Finances and taxation
Henry Myers
people keep talking about the kike menace.
It's the communist/marxist menace we have to worry about right now. The left are becoming radicalized. I know communist is kike shit. But people aren't aware of that. We have to attack communist shit people won't take the kike pill but we can fear monger about communists.
Austin Peterson
+1 for neo-reactionary-ism
Jordan Roberts
Yeah, that would work. >Have an intelligence test for voters >voters below met IQ cannot vote >Liberals swoon and bleat because muh oppressed minorities >Liberals pressure politicians to lower the the difficulty of the exam or the required IQ to vote >Back in the same position It will be a continuous circle user.
Bentley Anderson
It's a consequence of postmodernism. When you remove meaning from life by first eradicating religion, then conservative values like nationalism, community, responsibility and family, you're left with nothing to live or work for. The result is nihilism and commercialism, which leads to people being perpetual children or hedonistic degenerates, before they eventually turn to extremism in order to find some sort of constant, identity or meaning to cling to.
I mean, no one wants to actually live in the world we live in, because it's been culturally and spiritually destroyed by the left. Even leftists hate the world they've created, which is why they're just becoming more and more extreme in their demands. They think that the next push towards granting some imaginary oppressed group more rights will make things better, but it never does, because they don't even believe in what they're fighting for. They're just fundamentally unhappy because their lives have no meaning, and they don't understand why, so they try to rectify that by attacking the one target that society has taught them is responsible for all evil: white men and western culture.
It's the same on the right. The reason so many men have dropped out of society or obsess over shit like video games and TV shows, is because all the traditional values and morals have been stripped from society. On top of that, white men are told they're evil by the educational system, the news and the media they consume. There's nothing to reach for, aside from money for money's sake, so you can pay taxes to support a bunch of whiny, incompetent shitksins and women. So again, these people turn to "extremism", because that's the only viable alternative to a society without meaning, which has made you out to be its enemy.
Parker Bennett
>Millenials are setting the stage for THIS to happen AGAIN
No while there is a low iq we push a bunch of shit to get rid of niggers and minoriites.
Dylan Gutierrez
Voting for a leader is like voting what colour to paint the walls of your cage. I feel that laws people need, the moral fabric of society, is set hard in stone and unchanging for generations at a time, and that modern record-keeping ensures that crimes are preventable. The only thing stopping the system from working are the greedy and the police force - all citizens should be upholders of law equally, and the Duluth model scrapped with its proponents hung from the streets.
John Walker
All success is due to fanaticism.
Tyler Martin
It's overrated. Grow up, and take the Progressive Pill.
Sebastian Davis
We, as millennials, have watched some major shit go down in our lifetimes. >9/11 >Economy crash of 2008 (on-par with The Great Depression, but with more surplus so no starving) >Two of the worst presidents in history ruin American ideals (pre-Trump) >etc.
And here we are in 2017, the U.S. and the world has hit a crisis point with refugees and the growing threat of Islam. We have grown up listening to the "oh woe is me" talk of the Gen X'ers and Gen Y'ers; our parents and grandparents. We look back with disgust at the pile of shit they created of the world and handed down to us on a silver platter. Not only are we having to clean up the shit our gen brought, but we're having to fix 40+ years of wrongdoing that has been dumped on top of us. That's why you see such extremism in millennials. You have the left, who chose to "opt out" of the big cleanup and live in their own bubble of ignorance, and anyone who dare challenge them are met with hostile force. Then you have the extremist right, "the redpilled folk." These are the ones who have bought in and dove head first into the mountain of shit that was given to us by our parents. These people have hard days ahead of them, with the growing age of previous generations coupled with constant advancements in medicine, and the people on the left who refuse to grab a shovel and pitch in (govt dependent minorities, welfare queens, useless majors, etc.) The Gen Z extremist right will have to bear the weight of the world on their shoulders and pray the make it through without collapsing in on themselves. The first step was electing Trump. This was a giant FUCK YOU to the establishment, which has thrived and survived behind the smoke and mirrors that is current American democracy. Gen-Z has seen firsthand what manipulation has done to their country and their world. And under Authoritarian rule it simply isn't possible for such shit to happen behind the curtain.
Hudson Butler
After two terms of bush, two terms of obama, and a trump term that doesn't look too promising with no hope to fix any problems, it's no surprise people are losing faith in democracy. Especially since all the politicians are owned by the elite.
Based millennials taking the red pill
Tyler Smith
Good post friend. We've inherited this big mess and it's only going to get worse.
Charles Turner
That's right. And Trump is going to ruin the economy by having that old white bitch Yellen pull the Fed. Trump, like W, will have us all killed in a recession and a war of imperialism.
Jason Cruz
>OMG I FUCKING HATE CHEETO HITLER DRUMPF Need I explain more, some liberal was literally talking my ear off about how DRUMPF was destroying democracy. His solution was literally a military coup "by real Americans". Needless to say, both sides only like it when they win, but the left is substantially worse to the extent that they actively protest democracy.
Austin Sullivan
It's not surprising at all. On the right, you have concerns about white genocide. On the left, you have people who use "problematic" to refer to freedom of speech.
The only answer to either of these problems (and many more) is authoritarianism.
Chase Murphy
Good. Democracy is literally the worst form of government. Go read some Plato kid.
Hunter Robinson
>democracy is good
No. Most people are retards and shouldn't be allowed to vote, let alone hold any type of formative power over a nation.
As for millennials, we're separating into extremist camps, which is why the appeal of democracy is dying. Communism and Fascism are becoming very popular again.
Daniel James
>IQ test I think the civic test along with maybe another few barriers. Hell, make military service a requirement if you want to keep libs out. If you just deny them directly then they might get upset. Give them the possibility of being able to vote, and if a few dummies slip through it's no big deal.
Gavin Cooper
I couldn't agree more with this. People are definitely becoming more polarized. We live in what feels like two different Americas.
Austin Flores
Speaking as someone who has worked elections for years, in a neutral capacity too by the way, the only people take elections even semi-seriously is during presidential elections, but I bet you already knew that!
You know what hurts democracy? The fact that 1) everyday people don't care and 2) the candidates and campaigns have failed to connect with these same people.
It's not the 1% percent that's the problem, it's the 99% who don't give a fuck that let the system rot.
Dominic Russell
Wow ur fucking slow. They've always been the ones who sought after rule, they used Kennedy to trick you into buying their shit. but they're the ones who shot Kennedy.
Jeremiah Reyes
>the only people take elections
*the only time people take elections semi-seriously is what I meant.
Cooper Jenkins
>Sup Forums >a literal nazi webforum >wow how can you hate democracy?
Are you niggas serious?
Oliver Ortiz
Democracy is bad and it wasn't even until recent history that people started viewing it in a positive way.
Isaiah Morgan
I won't talk about politics anymore except with family and very close friends because your opinions just gin up instant hatred depending on who you're talking to. America in 2017 is extremely toxic.
Jayden Young
Leftists hate democracy.
Aaron Young
Nope. They're just open about it now
Aaron Lopez
Europeans are very fucking new to democracy faggot. Pre WWI most of Europe was fucking monarchies.
Liam Fisher
>a literal nazi webforum
Why are leafs always wrong?
Nathan Thompson
Same and I can't even talk to some family members about it. I do have friends though that will talk about it, but only a few are genuinely interested in what is going on around us.
I never discuss politics in public but for a while was voicing my opinion on social media. Then I got rid of most of that because it's toxic too. I had lifelong friends blocking me and doing complete 360's against me. It's not like you can reason with someone who has already made up their mind. So every time something like this happens it causes further tension and polarization.
The problem with democracy is you always have two smaller groups of people who have already made up their minds. These people are not going to be swayed. Then a larger group that votes and voices their opinions even though they don't know what the hell they are talking about. Last is the group that just doesn't care.
Most people I have met whether they were leftist or right-wingers are generally not very informed. They only vote based on the candidate who supports some fringe issue they feel strong about.
Cooper Moore
...
Adrian Lewis
We grow up to hear parents and teachers bitch of the government. We usually see no progress go on in the government, usual nothing happens, plus most millennials avoid cspan or studying ANYTHING political and go to anything that is enjoyable.
John Cooper
This.
Adam Hughes
Most people fall into the apathetic camp, especially in a society that is as rootless as modern America is. People on the whole are just trying to get by.
I have a few friends that are liberals, and they're great in just about every way except for their politics. We just don't talk about it, especially since I've secretly migrated to the far right. My observation of liberals is that they believe everything that universities, the media, and government tells them. They are the "establishment" and these institutions just reinforce their worldview.
Those on the extreme Left and Right, on the other hand, have both come to the conclusion that the present establishment isn't working at all but have very different remedies for how to fix it.
Josiah Miller
Look at the economic prospects for millenials, they're actually projected to face lower standards of living, youth unemployment is high as fuck, and if you live in burgerland, student debt is a massive problem. You have to understand that democracy is simply a means to an end. People support democracy because they believe it brings the greatest quality of life, if it doesn't deliver, people are going to look elsewhere.
There's also a clear rift between the rich and poor. The former prioritized their own well-being too much, not helped by increased mobility of capital reducing the overlap between personal and national interest. The poor are mad and in response, the wealthy has strengthened their grip over politics hence the pronounced increased in authoritarianism. The poor see this and lose faith in democracy, after all, why would you care to follow the rules in a rigged system.
Another point is the proliferation of mass media and the internet. With the internet, it's easier than ever to form like-minded communities. This isn't entirely bad, however there are plenty of psychological studies where hanging out too long in these communities creates a sense of intellectual inbreeding where the batshit crazy is amplified and creates polarization. As people become more disparate in their ideologies, discourse and compromise becomes increasingly impossible, leading to paralyzed democracies. As an aside, Bernays, the inventor of the term "PR" stated that the narrative and had to kept within a certain range of discourse otherwise democracies tear itself apart. Again, the internet has shattered the ability of the monied elite to maintain that narrative and made it harder for democracies to keep everyone appeased.
Ryder Hughes
I still blame them desu If you (a millennial) aren't protesting for $21/ hour construction jobs that only you can take, but instead are protesting for migrants You are the problem and are kinda retarded
Elijah Foster
(((Buzzwords))) don't believe in "x" as (((our data proves))).
Jason Cook
I can't honestly believe that Jontron is a 3. Holy fucking shit, what a time line.
Connor Bailey
Because they're retarded fucking faggots and the hardest thing they've gone through is working at Starbucks. They've never been raised in a broken home, they've never lost an immediate relative to substance abuse, they've never experienced true, crippling, maddening isolation and poverty.
You will not tell me how to live my life. You do not have sufficient firepower to occupy us, no matter where your allegiances lie. That goes for the Nazi scum, it goes for the pinkos, and it goes for Muslims. The moment any of these factions attempt to make Americans do anything is the moment they get a VERY fucking stiff lesson about the world. It's not dictated by the musings of some stuffy lard ass in a coffee shop.
tldr; >Fuck you, pay me, don't touch my shit or I'll splatter your fucking brains.
Kevin Wright
Let them do their thing, we may get to fight some "tyranny" if they continue.
Matthew Kelly
the future looks bright
Alexander Foster
Agreed, and I just want to add that authoritarianism isn't fucking Marxism, I hate this "le Millenials are marxists" meme.
In our wonderful """free""" society, elected politicians are neglecting their duties to their constituents as both a leader and servant of that region (hey California, you're on fire and you REALLY need to find alternative methods of water production via the ocean----but instead of all of that here watch your elected leaders whine about MUH TRUMPF) for petty political garbage. They are children, or at least that's how they carry themselves.
Nat. Corporatism isn't Marxism, Authoritarianism in many if not all of it's forms is not Marxism. Millennial may doubt the virtue of democracy but that doesn't immediately mean that everyone sympathetic to authoritarian arguments or structures wants to see the world burn.
We need safeguards in place to assure that the mistakes of the past aren't repeated. The Electoral College is a fantastic example of an existing safeguard that against a tide of neo-Liberal bias. And imo there should be more safeguards in place to save people from their own foolish self destructive influence---to stop them from tearing our country apart (or at least trying to)
Jaxon Howard
no captialism isn't a complete system like communism you can have facist capitalism
Christopher Davis
Vox is a neoliberal source that opposes democracy. You can't blame millennials for seeing the results of what they were told their whole lives was democracy, but was in fact an elective aristocracy.
Nathaniel Williams
its globalist mindfuckery theyre softkilling american citizens through shitty education and shitty media so no one really knows what the fuck is going on allowing for easier manipulation. its like how in public school they tell kids to stand and say the pledge of allegiance but never explain the importance of values it talks about. kids can end up viewing it as just another oppressive task assigned by the teacher seeding a subconscious resentment towards the pledge of allegiance and therefore america
Dominic Price
I fucking hate my generation. Bunch of literal Commies. I really hope Gen Z aren't like this or we're doomed.
Lucas Perez
What is George W Bush lol.
Jose Sanchez
Can't wait
Adrian Torres
It's almost like democracy was absolutely retarded from the beginning. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to let retards, shitskins, and women vote?
Jeremiah Wilson
A citizens republic where you earn the right to vote through service is the way forward. Starship Troopers had it right.
Hudson Butler
Meanwhile conservicucks are loving trump.
Its a bit ironic no?
Jackson Cox
>But even Liberals are favoring this and wanting authoritarian rule That's right, it's the end goal of all far left politics to get people to willingly sacrifice liberty in favor of collectivist state. The left is king of double think propaganda and like yuri bezmenov says "when they realise the reality of their beautiful equality they will revolt" by which time it's to late.
Lucas Barnes
What has democracy accomplished in the US since the 20th century? A central bank was put into place by Wilson against the Constitution itself, Conservatives appeased the leftists and gave the country away to cultural marxism for good. We went from 90% White to 60% and dropping. Fascism is the only thing that will save us now, but it will never happen because conservatives are too busy masturbating to a document that's been dead for decades. Fuck democracy.
Noah Fisher
>increasing number of people favor authoritarian/ military rule
Things are looking good boys.
Elijah King
They can't accept that others don't agree with them but have a Messiah complex which causes them to assume they would be more powerful in a dictatorship.

They simply don't want to think and will believe whatever is in the news without a second thought.
Thomas Martinez
What democracy? You mean liberal republicanism? Fuck Hoppe, you faggot. Read Polybius and look up anacyclosis.
Cameron Edwards
I do not think Generation Z voted that much. That's over generalization Gen Z is 20 and below right now and the presidency will always switch between right and left every 8 years due to both parties being out of touch and embracing the suck.
Republicans are just less worse than Democrats and both are no different right now. We need people that are younger and understand us all to be elected, not 60 and above Boomers that are not understanding of Net Neutrality or what the fuck they are doing to destroy our freedoms and our anonymity.
It's mostly because we have dinosaurs in office that do not care or bother to help us and help themselves.
Liam Price
