Most of the logic behind computers have been around for thousand of years (astrolabes are nothing more than primitive computers, give it X query/position so it give the position of Y stars and we found astrolabes in roman ship wrecks) and most of the modern advances in technology comes from the miniaturization of said technology, which allowed the creation of complex mechanisms unto a ever smaller surface. 50-70 years ago it took half a soccer yard to make computers because everything was wired with coppers wires and cumbersome materials like that, that had to be physically connected to one another with big ass cables and this whole thing took a lot of place.
Hell, its actually the creation of printed circuitry that pretty much revolutionized the entire industry as logic structures that would normally take a shitload of material to put together were reduced to a flat, multi-layered board of plastic and steel that could fit in a hand and could even be plugged into one another.
Its like you haven't realized yet this whole missile repeatedly crashing was just a PR stunt/media imposed narrative, that is incredibly common in that part of the world. Hell, in fact those missiles do not ''crash'' but are voluntarily brought down prior to the reach of their theorized targets as to bring a message to whoever it was aiming that ''we can actually reach you, so sit the fuck down and lets negotiate''.
