We have 14 and they are pretty solid. Probably the best multirole jet in its price range.
I'm not doubting it's capability as an aircraft, rather it's lack of widespread export success. Brazil seems to be the only country interested in large numbers of them.
i might be wrong, but wasnt grippen the aircraft that takes few couple other countries to make the parts? Can you imagine the maintenance? Pain in the ass if you ask me.
