Which american state would have the strongest military in case of balkanization? Are there any units more loyal to their home states than federal government?

Texas

why so?

California

We have the coast, navy ,airforce, and army and marines

do it faggots

The one with the most guns

All naval assets on the left coast should be relocated to the gulf coast

Texas
>coast, navy
Very useful in Yugotier Balkanisation warfare you dumb ass spic

You have a bunch of Mexicans who will cut your throat as soon as the lights go out.

The military won't save you from the happening.

South Carolina:
Charleston AF base
Naval weapons station Charleston
Shaw AF base
McEntire ANG station
MCAS Beaufort

You forgot about the coons

Iowa.

We control the food supply. Good luck surviving when we break off along with the Dakotas and Nebraska and form Cornucopia.

user you seem to forget that Indiana grows corn, as well as the fags in Illinois

Most of the military stationed in California aren't from California and would have no reason to support them in a hypothetical balkanization.

Texas is the only state with 1) considerable military presence 2) state pride that eclipses national pride in some ways.

This. Iowa is the Arrakis of Corn. He who controls the grain controls the Universe.

colorado springs

>Norad
>Northcom (military command of the entire North American continent)
>Schriever (Space command)
>USAF academy
>Peterson AFB

etc.

no contest

that said, it makes a great target also and why I moved away

>Norad
>Schriever (Space command)
>Northcom (military command of the entire North American continent)
what's the point if nobody cares about federal army anymore?

they still there in command of the satellites bro

the satellites got weapons on 'em

>The United States possesses more space weaponry than any other country

also
>Stargate Command

washington d.c. they have andrews airforce base.

Republican/Rural California or Texas. It would take California a while to make their own power grid (Texas already has) but Cali has ports, and once republican/right wing citizens got past cleaning out the state they'd be experienced and fanatic to never let libtard looneys in again.

Michigan. Lots of woods, lots of industry, and a strong militia movement.

All right wing people. If California seceded the military and heavily armed right wing populace would clean liberals the fuck out. There are 33,000,000 guns in California and almos all of them are in right wing hands.

Hawaii, mainly due to it's geographic isolation and Naval presence.

I just moved here where do I join?

Beat me to it. Underrated.

You don't. Militias attract FBI agents like honey attracts bees, just find some conservative friends who you trust to have your back when the shit hits the fan.

You don't get to take the US Navy with you when you leave. Less than 1% of them are people from Hawaii

Why not, that makes no sense that those personnel would be able to a) leave, and b) all would leave behind one of the safer states in a balkanisation/love their home state.

>California
the most cucked state actually fighting a war

Cucks needs the right to do the fighting, they themselves cannot do, if they start actually doing them they become right wing...

Most of the personnel in the US army come from Texas.

Texas has it's own power grid so would still have power if the rest of the country had it's power knocked out.

It has ports

It has air fields

It has it's own nukes

It could even launch a space program if it had to

But has the problem of sharing a border with Mexico, who may very well try to invade.

Also I'm not sure how your Nuclear weapons system works but aren't the codes kept off site?

What you're saying is like arguing that if in a war, the USA took some land from Mexico, we would suddenly control and take command of the Mexican soldiers who were stationed in that territory.

Virginia. We have the largest Naval base in the world, as well as NAS Oceania, Langley, Little Creek amphibious base, ur move fgts

Oceana*

Canada

You massively overestimate people's loyalties.

Also as to your scenario well it isn't a perfect real world situation (nor is your hypothetical entirely relevant, the US and it's armed forces being far more tight nit and integratable than Mexicans) the last US Mexican War saw mass infighting and desertion among the Mexican army.

What're your neighbours like?

They'd get fucking destroyed. This isn't like 1840 when Texas was outgunned by a bigger military, Texas has basically everything the US military does.

California is pretty rich though may get fucked over via balkanization, especially if it splits even further. Even if it doesn't it's pretty pacifist and they'll probably rely on their mountains/terrain to keep them safe rather than be aggressive. They may develop a navy to protect their trade ports.

Washington is probably your best bet for a decent West coast power considering it's also pretty rich and isn't as pussy as Californians (though still pretty bad).

Otherwise Texas would probably dominate most things.

Hard to say what the East coast does, I fully expect a rather small state like Rhode Island or Delaware to end up blobbing hardcore simply because being extremely diplomatic and cunning keeps the state from being immediately annexed, at which point they bide their time until they can grow.

>They'd get fucking destroyed.
But with hostile states all around, a reliance on government subsidies on farming, shit hole cities (Katrina Niggers will Nig) and the fact that the Mexican army, though shit, has a numerical advantage and a disgusting number of loyal spics in the Southern states (saboteurs).

Well the states surrounding Texas wouldn't necessarily be hostile, the thing about Texas is it can legally secede with no hostility. It was part of the agreement in 1848 when Texas became a state that it could leave the Union at any time. In fact, Texas in the the only state who's flag is flown at the same level as the US flag. At state buildings where state officials gather, the Texas flag is flown alongside the US flag above all the others.

the farm subsidy is something that would probably take some time for the Texas economy to correct for, granted, but I doubt it would take very long given how rich and productive Texas is. Also numerical advantage wouldn't mean much to a superior army(most combat soldiers in Iraq for instance had 20-30 confirmed kills before rotating out)

Traitors and saboteurs would be a problem though, no doubt

Infighting and desertion proves my point. Their loyalties lie with their family before their assigned territory. "Fuck this I'm going home to the kids" is what deserters think.

This plus Ft. Eustis, CIA's camp perry and the worlds largest shipyard. After we reunite our West Virginia brothers Dixie will rise again.

>Texas
It has its own power-grid, massive population, state pride, oil reserves, and more than 170,000 active military and reserve members. Could easily become a self-sustaining* country.
>Colorado
Has NORAD, Northcom, and Peterson Air-force Base. Would probably dominate Wyoming, Kansas, and Nebraska.
>Virginia
Largest Naval presence, would take DC unopposed.
>Michigan
Mostly surrounded by water and has nearly 9 million guns for its 10 million people. Also prominent militia movements. Possible conflict with Ohio.
>New Jersey
Would probably nuke itself and everyone would rejoice.

Colorado wouldn't have to go war with Wyoming or such states, they would willingly join us since Native Coloradoans and other rocky mountain states are similar people.

Colorado will have to have a civil war before it can join its neighbors though.
We've got the leftist transplant cancer and they don't. Fortunately they would probably help purge the leftist cancer and willing merge into a Rocky Mountain superstate with Denver as the capital. Denver has the infrastructure for the "west" already, thats why.

The only state that would probably do its own thing is Utah, because of its mormon nature.

t. Colorado

Unironically, Maryland.
>Has the NSA and US Cyber Command
>Able to completely fuck over communications and electrical grids

Maryland could take down California just by shutting down power to LA and San Francisco and sitting back as the cities tear themselves apart.

Texas it is.

...

...

...

>Alaska
Would either be annexed by Russia or be ignored completely.
>Hawaii
Very strong navy, might dominate the pacific.
>Florida
Would likely ally with Georgia and other southern states. Has a spaceport so it might use space based weapons.(The USA has many of them but their a secret.)
>Maine
Only borders one state and would likely ally with New Hampshire to fend off Massachusetts.
>Pennsylvania
Western Penn would secede and dominate the rust belt.
>Missouri
Wildcard, It controls the most important choke-points.

>Washington
>Oregon
>Illinois
Expect civil war in these states as conservatives and liberals purge each other.
>California
Same as above except with Mexico added to the mix. Arizonans would probably sweep in later Caesars Legion style.

this

Texas has the beef.
Texas has the grains.
Texas has their own state military.
Texas has the coast.
Texas has the patriots.
Texas has the guns.
Texas is far from being bankrupt.
But most of all,

Texas has the oil.

Seattle wa was founded by ex ca industrial people in the 70s. WA is pussy.

ca conservatives will be teaming up w zona and nv bros and cleaning the sw. eventually this force will team up w texas bros and head south...

>Seattle founded in 70s

Yeah sure bro. Boeing totally wasn't founded more than 40 years ago.
