I am a Millennial, but I see my generation and just shake my damn head.
I've seen friends from High School who STILL live with their parents, and don't even have jobs and they are nearing 30!
What is the problem?

A combination of the three. They refused to grow up because 1. Being a grown up is hard and they enjoyed it more where they had everything planned for them 2. They have some way to avoid growing up by either leeching or taking part time non-serious jobs for spending money while their parents take care of housing and 3. The general morality of the youth has changed and they're more inclined to just do things they like instantly instead of working hard for rewards later on.

The idea that you have to move out on your own when you hit some sort of arbitrary age is a very recent development. Move out when the conditions are favourable, not sooner. Otherwise money that could stay within your family is going to your landlord.

I live in long beach. My situation is the last 2. I live in a shitty area and drive an hour to work every day and an hour home. Living in a nicer area closer to my job is not in my budget. Planning on moving to Arizona in the next couple of years.
My situation financially is stable however and it beats the hell out of living with any of my family.

I just graduated with my Doctorate of Pharmacy. I just landed a residency in pediatrics to work clinically side by side with doctors as a clinician instead of some faggot pill pusher at walgreens. Huge prestigious achievement. I'm only 25.
Meanwhile many of my classmates despise me because instead of feeling entitled to the dream job, I went out every day for the last 6 years and worked my ass off for it. When it came time to pick clinicals, I chose all the hardest ones to develop myself.
The problem is most of their parents never taught them the value of hard work. You only get out what you put into something. And then you have a president like Obama who placates them with "the world is yours" non sense as if it was never not there for the taking. The only difference now is muh "gibs".
